Today I mod an old Mattel football game to look exactly like the Abelisk Scanner from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2!! Finally continuing work on my Star-Lord cosplay, and this is one of his coolest props!

If you want further help weathering/aging things Prima Marketing has 2 kits that Micheals sell a rusting one and a weathered one. Add in Some gesso and some of their waxes in a bronze, pewter and old gold and it will cover you for pretty much anything.

Hot glue? HOT GLUE?! Dude, two words: Super Glue. Better still, Extreme Power Instant Adhesive and spray-on accelerator. These can be found at Hobby Lobby or Michaels. The accelerator will work on any cyanoacrylate, aka "super glue" type adhesive. Amateurs, ;)
