Apparently, if you run into it, there must be some sort of trap door that only opens from that side... And MAYBE there's a lot of force needed to burst that... idk... just thinking out loud, lol
I was SORT of thinking that, but in the same breath, there's not that much room in the box, if said trapdoor was big enough to allow the roadrunner/coyote in, the box isn't deep enough for the door to open all that way, if it opens horizontally, and if it opens vertically, the box is too shallow for the whole "switching places" ending. Sorry, I know I'm over-thinking a funny little Roadrunner cartoon, in a world where physics work ONLY when it'll result in failure for the coyote but it is bugging me pretty badly. I blame the fact that we don't actually see how he got in there. The coyote doesn't even put the birdseed IN it, he puts it in front of it, and it ends up IN it when the roadrunner goes in it.
Course, with Acme- it could be that it's less of a "glass" box and more along the lines of a bunch of force fields. Acme DOES have the technology to do crazy stuff like that.

Well, I learn something new every day - didn't know that Road Runner became CGI! Nice touch to see a camera phone in it, but the main thing is that the music matches the actions going on in the cartoon, which many cartoons nowadays lack. Big fan of old Road Runner and Tom & Jerry etc.
If you've ever felt that the Coyote vs. Roadrunner cartoons were different from all the other Looney Tunes cartoons, it's because they were: the Roadrunner character is the only major animal character in the Looney Tunes universe that was not heavily (and often not at all) made to be anthropomorphic. In fact, there's really nothing much to even suggest it's the same bird from episode to episode, for it is not any particularly clever roadrunner that behooves the coyote, but rather the species in general which is his demise.
I wish they brought the Looney Tunes back like they used to be, Same sound effects, similar vocal acting (Mel Blanc unfortunately is not around anymore) and no nonsense modern day adaptations, keep it in the time period of when the cartoons originated since that would feel a lot more authentic.
There's one Road Runner/Wile E. Coyote (Genius) cartoon where for split second the coyote catches the Road Runner...He holds up 2 signs, and the 2nd one says, "Now what do I do?" Gee, I should thought it out more. I'll email you later. Congrats to the other winner Michael! Have fun with your toys!

Old enough to know that this is modern animation and that this isn't the way that roadrunner was caught. But can't have the old cartoons as they would traumatize all young people.
Not bad at all. It's a little sad to see some people automatically dismiss these new shorts, largely (or so it seems to me) out of some misplaced loyalty. Is this up there with the very best of the classic looney tunes? Maybe not, but it's certainly on par with many of the old ones. The animation isn't lazy, the slapstick and expression based comedy is still there, and I think some real effort has gone into making the new animation work with the classic visual style.
This is NOT the one the original title of this cartoon was talking about!!!!! The real one was where Wile E. is running through this huge pipe which is getting smaller and smaller. When he finally comes out the other end he is tiny and the Roadrunner is normal sized. Wile E. grabs the Roadrunner's talon and THAT'S how he caught him!!!!
It wasn't that Wile E. took a selfie...it's that it didn't come out very well, so he gestured to RR, "Can we do that again?" AND THEY BOTH DID EXAGGERATED EXCITED SMILES FOR IT!
