UNIMOG 404 LS FEST PROGRESS. Overheating issue solved!!

- On this episode we pull the LS swapped Unimog 404 into the shop to start prepping to see if it can even make it to LS Fest West 2024 in Las Vegas.
Trying to tackle the overheating issue we ran into last time we drove it, we thought a fan shroud would be the best thing to try next.
Check out the video to see if the fan shroud works or if we have to come up with a different plan for the Unimog.

I would recommend a cowling to viscous fan.
Far superoir and reliable compared to that electric garbage.
You are 100% right. This is working for now but a proper fan clutch would be ideal.

So, ive gotta ask & you may have covered this at some point already but how did you get the extra suspension height? Ive got a 406 Unimog and im looking for a bit more in the front but the NOS coils are 1k usd a pop. Just wondering what you did.
We built new brackets for the axle that bolt in place of the stock spring brackets. This is how we mounted the 4 link bars too. We'll ttry to get a quick video up expaining that.
