- (Sold)This old 1953 Ford 2 door Ranch wagon has spent the last several decades in dry storage!!!! It has been in the building where I found it for 20+ years. The former owner had it stored in another building for for 10-15 years prior to that. The guy that he bought it from decades ago was another guy that I knew who was also a dedicated Ford collector and the car had been stored in one of his buildings for several years also! From what I was told, this old Ranch Wagon has been in dry storage for the past 35-40 years before I got the call on it!!!!
Wagons are super hot and super cool. This is a pretty decent old car that would make an amazing patina style build OR it could be fully restored since it is really in pretty decent condition!!! Let's go check this one out!!! Just give me a call if you have any questions!!!!

If you have questions about vehicles or parts, the only way to get a hold of me is to call me, 8 AM-8 PM CST, no texts, no e-mails, no messenger, no smoke signals, calls only. 620-786-4428
If I don’t answer, I’m probably on the phone with someone else and if you don’t leave me a message, I just assume you're another telemarketer trying to sell me an extended warranty! LOL!
I am not open to the public, so if you show up without calling and making an appointment, don't expect me to be available.
If you comment, message, text, e-mail, etc., don't expect me to find it and don't expect an answer. Thanks for watching, Chad 620-786-4428
My Dad had a '53 like this in dark blue,a daily driver. The one that got away!
My parents had a 54 that got wrecked so dad bought a 55 so this brings back memories. The 54 was the same color but dad painted the roof pillars a darker blue. Thanks for saving this gem.
Exactly like one my mother and father had. Same color. They brought it back in 54. Didn't have sun visor and had v8. What a find.
Memories of the 1955 Ranch wagon my Dad had and took us scouts all over for camp out s in the 1960s. That will make someone a nice old wagon 👍
Digging the visor, I have a 1952 ranch wagon made a surfwagon ! Total attention grabbing! Thanks for sharing beautiful car
Amazing - what a cool survivor!! Love this little Ranch Wagon.
2 door wagons are so cool! Thanks for sharing it with us. Anxious to see it drive.
Chad this car is a treasure!
I love the ford ranch wagon 😍 😋 🤪 💙 ❤️ 😍
Awesome wagon. Hopefully somebody saves it
Wow, what a great find. Old station wagons are rare. Definitely worth restoring.
My grandfather had a 55 Ford wagon. I remember his had four doors. Grandma always warned us kids not to touch the doors as we sat in the back seat. She was afraid they would fly open and we would fall out. Us kids rode on the tailgate when grandma wasn't with us in the car. The car was tan over chocolate brown.
Love this find. Wow. I could drive this across the country in style.
Such a awesome car Chad. Someone is going to snag this one up. Definitely worth saving. Great find. 👍😎✌️
Very cool old school "grocery getter"!
What a great cruiser she would make
IN 1962 I LEARNED TO DRIVE AND CONTINUED TILL '66 TO DRIVE THIS FOREST GREEN 2-DOOR 3-COLUMN SHIFT V-8 -- STOGY W/O POWER ASSISTS, IT WAS FAB IN ERIE, PA, 6MO ICY/SNOWY WINTERS!! RUST ATE IT UP. BOT A '56 CHEVY 3-SPEED BEL AIRE THRU 1972.
Great fishing vehicle
my first car was a 1953 Ford 2dr Crestline loved that old vehicle
You had me biting my nails on the back wheel coming up to the ramp.
Sweet sweet Sweet,just beautiful
On many of the wagon I have seen the tailgate is usually the worst spot but that thing is solid no rust at all that is so cool and the engine would of been the 215 cu in I think 1953 was the last year for the flathead V8 before the Y block came out. I find it amazing that there are still cars like this still sitting all over the place and that car is as original as original can get.
212 Y BLOCK NOT 215
I'M A FORD HISTORIAN
I'd have to drop a nice little 289 in it and fix the body. Some might like the "patina," but I'm all for full body repair and paint. Make it look cool.
To bad he insisted on those hubcraps-not built for a six either-nice to have a 5liter though
I WANT IT!!!❤❤❤
What an incredible find Chad! Thank goodness I’m not a Ford guy! 😂😂
Reminds me of the one I bought in an auction from the plant I was working at in Houston in 1975. It was an ambulance!! Paid $500 bucks for it. Used to camping in it!!!
Beautiful
My parents had 53 mark Woody.
Great call
What a phenomenal find! That car was very well loved! Still is! My 1st car as a tiny kid was a ‘55 Nomad w/the two doors. I hope wagons come back.
What a great old wagon, leave the patina and the rust , put a new drivetrain in it , put some surfboards on top and some old surfing stickers, you will get lots of love .
Ive said it before, you have the best job ever. You are one of my favorite's here! I will be coming to visit you for 2nd Gen Pontiac TA parts
A great find! even with overdrive. Onward!
Nice!!!!!!!!!
A lady that lived next to my Grandparents had a 52 or 53 2 Door Customline 3 on the tree and I would assume straight 6 I'm 64 it would be early 60's when she would drive my 2 younger brothers and mom back home after we had walked over to visit. I still remember she would start out in 1st rev it up a bit and jump to 3rd she still had it when she passed away in the 80's was always in a garage with no window.s
Man 'O' Man what a find
Did I miss what's under the hood?
More than likely a 239 CI flat head V-8. Flatheads forever!
......it was a six cylinder with the head removed . Someone started to work on it but never finished .
this would definately be worth repairing original engine and saving❤❤❤❤❤
Love the car! So cool!!
Very nice wagen. So many possibilities. Too bad you don't advertise a price. But maybe that has something to do with you tubes. I hope someone gives it the love it deserves. It seems like it's weighted a long time to be loved again
Well hello there, cutie! Welcome back to outside! She's absolutlely adorable!
A leaf blower and then a power washer 👍🏽
Every barn find the windows are rolled down for thirty year's.
wow so great car. Your going to make some good money on that car for sure!!!
Hi chad cool wagon i’m sure Tractor Mike will like that tractor that was next to this great looking wagon two door. That’s sweet.
My parents had one of them too about same color but without the visor but it had that air conditioner that you'd stick on the outside on the passenger side window😊
I can’t tell what type of farm all that tractor is, but I can definitely tell you this. It is a very antique tractor in my grandfather used to rebuild them and restore them and I used to drive them through tractor shows and parade I used to use one to mow my grass.
Its a Cub, they were made from 1947-1979
Good ole made in the USA real iron! Made to last.
Very cool pc of nostalgia!
My first car was a 55 ford fairlane 2 dr sedan 2tone wh/ baby blue V8 auto memories
I wish you had given this to a professional RUclips detailer first. They would have done a complete, extensive detail for free.
🏁🤔...Ya forgot or you don't know the license frame on the tailgate flips down when its down if your driving with it down to be legal...🤣🤙🍷😎🏁
That steering wheel is worth 2 to 3 thousand great fiend lucky man
Man chad you are right! I do love this wagon! I’d love to own it. Let’s talk the details
Nice car . Make a great movie or TV show car when resto imagine what kindig it can turn it into modern running sleek street car hi from Melbourne Australia
Looks lie one that used to reside in an old barn in N. GA. along with many more the elderly gentleman who was in our antique automobile club owned. He also had a parts counter set up with all antique parts & advertising in a garage attached to his house.
I repainted my 1966 MGB, early 70's. I used that paint color off a 1953 Ford.....
Great video as always Brotha!
That has Power TourCruiser wrote all over it!
Holy cow.. I don't know what else to say. With the power of the internet, someone please save-not totally drag race..cruise it!
That's so cool
The color is cool kinda like a Robin egg blue it looks like it's the OG paint from what I can see
That thing is bad to the bone you don't see to many of them anymore. What a awesome find and it looks like it's sawdust or something
I think it's hair or fur of whatever was living in those cages
It's a survivor. Looks immaculate. New subscriber, can't wait to see what you do to it.

You look like a george bush! No joke!
Whats your asking price?
Is it for sale
yes,thats what he does!!!
What was that white crap all over the car. It wasn't plain old barn dust and it was only where the car sat?
It was obvious that the owner was keeping some kind of small , furry animals in all those cages along the wall .
Decades of little bodies constantly itching and scratching - left fur and other detritus floating in the air .
My question ... what kind of animals were in the cages ?
LS candidate!!!😎
Oh hell no 😂
Fake dust LOL LOL LOL
What kind of furry animals was the previous owner keeping in those cages ?
Looks like the Laundry Dryer exhaust is in the garage!
Body fur from whatever animals were in those cages along the wall .
