Sir, why the feed temperature of the surge drum is 90 degree celsius, bcz the RCO that is coming from CDU must already have the temperature around 340 degree celsius? I request you to please clarify my doubt.

If there is hot feed concept then feed temperature will be high...If cold feed system then temperature will be low. Cold feed means RCO first cool in CDU unit then sent to tank and finally again pumped to VDU.

​@@SandeepAcademy9 thank you sir for the clarification. In the case of hot fluid feed, we do not require that much no. of preheat train heat exchanger, may be we can directly send it to furnace after the surge drum, if I am wrong please do correct me sir.​
