I got my new 450X 15 days ago and i have completed 700KMs on it... I mostly use warp mode and the acceleration is just phenomenal. I have a Dio and a activa both BS IV and after driving this for 15 days I'm genuinely afraid to drive petrol scooters, the vibrations, light front end, poor acceleration even with full throttle is basically a horrible driving experience. I do not regret shelling out extra cash for this scooter now. But I hope they add doorstep servicing like the ola it would make it unbeatable, performance + peace of mind + the ease of use would be unmatched. Cons: The seat is very steep to shift back n forth Range anxiety is kinda present i cannot wait for them to give us 100KM range in warp mode belt is bit noisy at 15-30 Kmph subscriptions locked map is kind of a paywall.
If not now some day an EV owner has to pay for the subscription charges. It's just that Ather is ahead of other OEM's when it comes to the maturity of the business.
Quite the opposite. My heart says you need to have fun while riding and buy an Ola but mind compels me to buy a practical scooter for family which will last a long time(Ather).
Got my Ather 450x on 31st October and it is a value proposition than the other one in which the performance is vastly superior to the other one and ride is good for our broken city roads
Comfort is something which very less people talk about, agreed that ola is more spacious, have good surface area to sit and move around, and almost zero sound of motor or belt, surprisingly well tuned suspension, and amazing amazing grip. The worst thing which ather did not solved till now is the vibrating handle bar and the whole front console on bad roads, the ola seemed to be stable. I've been owning ather for more then 26,000km now and have used it to the extreme limits, found ather is much more reliable, and if got a chance to purchase 2nd ev scooter i would still prefer Ather as now my city has a nice fast charging network. Market is still open for ola to correct and update the small bits and pieces and get to the top...
Ola is already at the top bro. Ola has some issues to be fixed which they seem to have fixed with the S1 Air. It only time that get to the S1 and pro versions too. Also moveos 3 fixes lots of issues also.
As a 450X owner. I have ridden it for now 1000+ kms on the daily commute, I recommend it to anyone who asks me for advice. I am a more aggressive rider with Warp Mode eating through the charge by every other night. However the feel of the Ather is simply superior to the Ola S1 Pro in my opinion. Also the safety factor is something that concerns me a lot with the Ola. The Suspension breaking, the battery on fire, the reverse mode glitch. It just scares me. The Ather is simply safer. But ofcourse to each their own. This is just my 2 cents. Awesome review as always Sarge. Looking forward to a lot more. PS: do try to get your hands on the Dominar 400UG. Against all the negative reviews I purchased Ola s1 pro in July 2022….. extremely satisfied…. Yes fit n finish is not perfect but it’s extremely fun…… good range …. I am getting around 100 to 110 km and I ride mostly in normal and sports mode……. It’s much better over bad roads and far better seat than Ather…… Ather is extremely well built but the ride quality over broken road is not good the suspension is stiff and the seat is not comfortable…… both are good but I needed a comfortable scooter so I opted for Ola S1 pro.
Thanks a ton for this wonderful video. I'm actually planning to buy one. Just wanted to quickly check that can I add multiple profiles on Ather's infotainment system?
Thank you the comparison! After watching this I personally choose Ather due to fit and finish, flat floor board, instant torque. For groceries shopping, a late night cup of coffee the hard suspension and slightly uncomfortable seat doesn’t matter compared to better throttle response and quality of the product.
Awesome review Sagar bro...I want you to review TVS iqube is well...when it comes to comfort it's very comfortable with its design and it makes around 100 kms of range I think so more of a value for money I think please review it if possible....🥰🥰
I must say, the suspension in Ola S1 series is just top luxury notch. This is like the Rolls Royce of 2 Wheelers. Man, the suspension is so smooth, you would stop driving your car. Not even your car has this level of comfort. The best in the price segment and 'THE BEST' in every 2 wheelers ever made. Just top notch superb 👌.
You can use forced regen by twisting the throttle in reverse. This reduces speed without stopping power to the motor. They will improve the initial quick response of accelerator to give faster initial speed.
Hey Sagar! Epic video as always. I have a question. Should I get the Interceptor 650 in the next 6 months, ; like is it still relevant. Or will Royal Enfield get an update for it?
Thanks for this video, much needed for many, OLA has another adavantage where we don't have to pay for navigation etc, it as in inbuilt jio sim We shld reach 200k susbsribers Sarge
After riding Ola s1 pro, ather gen 3 and tvs icube I felt ather gen 3 is the best option in terms of offline showroom in Bengaluru where Ola don’t have service centre and my decision was towards ather gen 3 and booked please suggest is it right decision I have taken
I always wondered what people were talking about when they complained about the ola service as ola service always responded promptly to service requests in Trivandrum. I faced 2 issues after getting the scooter 1.side stand sensor failure 2.rattling sound from the front headlight housing both of which they resolved within 2 days. Now I’m facing other issues like gps connectivity problems and ratting sound from rear section for which i have contacted the service 4-5 times and i am still waiting for a call back. I used to recommend ola to everyone(liked it better than ather after test riding) but now i hesitate.
Man u should have compared OLA S1 wth ATHER 450X Because Ola S1 pro is too far from ather 450x OLA S1 model is enough to beat Ather 450x Ola S1 ex showroom price 99,999 Athe 450x 1.55 lakhs Range almost similar Why to pay 55k more ?? Get more features than Ather Better range No subscription plans nothing Best comfort Safer braking no skidding like Ather Even if u travel continue 60km in 1 go u will not face any backpain etc on OLA Etc
You are the only one i Heard saying ola s1 pro is better than ather. I am ola s1 pro owner, i really enjoy the speed, above 100kms ranges it offers. Ather is monopoly in electric market before ola launched but not now. They need to come down now in price 😂...
Hi everyone, apart from this review by our expert sagar , I wanted to add a review , especially I am driving one of the latest Ather450Apex scooter . Below is my REALITY FEEDBACK after 1000+ kms within 1 month. IN Sport mode - 0.5675 kms per percent / 1.7619 percent charge per km = 45 km range for 80% charge (condition: highway ride at 70 to 80 kmph) (charging time from 0 to 80 % = 140 mins - using ather grid fast charger) Ride Mode - 0.8863 kms per percent / 1.1282 percent charge per km = 70 km range for 80% charge (condition: highway ride at 60 kmph) (charging time from 0 to 80 % = 120 mins minimum - using ather grid fast charger i.e 30 mins per 20 % charge ) I will put the above notes in an understandable manner : after riding constantly in sport mode for 20 mins at 80kmph (which is faster than most scooter and a enjoyable speed) the scooter speed does reduce to 65 to 70 kmph due to thermal issues . But this is not really a big thing for someone who rides in locals. It will be an issue for someone who is constantly riding more than 25 to 30 km distance in one go. Overall 70 kms range in Ride Mode minimum and 45 kms range in sport mode minimum . If you ride in 40 to 50 kmph then you will get like 5 to 10 kms extra that's the maximum. This is the truth. As for the fun aspect it is very very quick , as I said earlier the speed will drop if you drive at 80+ to about below 65 after 20 mins of sport or warp mode. That you all have to remember. Other things i want to add is that the scooter will keep on going faster right from the go 0 to 80 very quick and above that to a 100 just a little slow not as slow as a petrol powered scooter. About charging : there are two levels of charging : from 0 to 80% it will take 3.45 hours and from 80 to 100 percent another 2 hours total of 5.45 hours as the company claims , IN Public charging it will take 30 mins per 20% charge approximately , so for 0-80% in public charger you will have to wait for a total of 120 min s minimum , otherwise if you are charging at home it won't be a issue as you can take rest and take the vehicle outside after a Slow 100% charging, So you have to wait around 120 to 160 mins for charging from completely empty 0% to 80 % in a public charger for those who are going far distances this will be a concern , i have travelled between Chennai and Puducherry which is a total of approx 140 + 140 kms , So in reality when you drive 40 kms in RIDE mode (which is the mode you have to go in Long DISTANCE) you will lose 40 to 50% charge , hence i mentioned already you will have to wait for around 80 mins for this charge to come for example from 30 to 80%, so you ride for 40 mins and wait for 80 mins so for every 40kms distance you will spend 120 mins in total , imagine for 140kms how much i would have spend , So up and down i spent a total of 15 hours of travel instead of 7 hours of travel in a petrol scooter. this is the difference Between Electric and Petrol and electric scooter in Range Wise review of mine.
They had this issue of tire loosing air instead of saying we fixed the problem they said we made a monitoring system that cost 5000 extra so you can be sure that it is losing air😂
Ather problems: 1. Trackter noise and dirt accumulation on drive belt and drive belt going bad sooner due to not being enclosed like in ola. 2. Over priced for 100km range. The Ola s1 is only 1 Lakhs which provides 100km range in normal mode. Why are everyone comparing ather gen 3 to ola s1 pro instead of ola s1? 3. Ather suspension is stiffer than ola as you said. 4. Better top speed is provided by ola for the same price with ola s1 pro. 5. Ola has better software and hardware integration and design.
@@SagarSheldekarOfficial More than following Government rules for mandatory ABS, the manufacturers of these supposedly high tech and let's face it, not inexpensive scooters should see fit to equip them with Anti Lock Brakes which are a literal life saver especially on Indian "roads".
Ather feels like something which is built for some kind of rally it is very good to ride but not practical comfort level are zero for a scooter I own a chetak for daily commutes I get a range of around 85 90 and comfort level are excellent seats are supremely padded suspension on chetak are tuned for bad roads not stuff at all
if ather dress up like ola ,i would definitely bought an ather,i hate ather design and its high time ather redesign their scooter, for the price the built quality of ola is very pathetic (panel gap, button switches, back arm rest ) and heat issue is very frequent if riding under sports mode for abv 30min,its not well designed and they cant fix this via any ota ,a proper cooling system was needed for ola,but to cut down cost they went with forced air cooling, for bldc its okay for air cooling, but the ola pmac motor gets so hot and u cant cool it via forced air cool maybe many users get fancy by move os 3 features,nd may consider ola if so buy ola s1 air ,plz do buy ola s1/s1 pro unless u are okay with riding with normal mode with 60km speed and true range is only 85km then in eco u will get another 20km and this range depends on load (i'm 90kg)
CHARGING NETWORK is a key point in buying a EV...I'm in Chennai here compare to OLA ATHER has better and more charging point as for as inside the city area.
I am not convinced that charging points will work in India because most charging points i have visited have always had a queue and you don't get more than 15mins of charging which will only give you another 15kms of range. Fast charging at home is something I am looking forward to

Awesome review Sagar bro...I want you to review TVS iqube is well...when it comes to comfort it's very comfortable with its design and it makes around 100 kms of range I think so more of a value for money I think please review it if possible....🥰🥰
Looking forward to riding it. Just wish it looked better
Scores high on comfort
U r correct 👌
Does ola working on any upgrades to remove the power cut off feature on brake application.its horrible.
Should hopefully be resolved in the coming updates
You can use forced regen by twisting the throttle in reverse. This reduces speed without stopping power to the motor. They will improve the initial quick response of accelerator to give faster initial speed.
hi just wanted your opinion which one should i go for ather 450x or ola s1 pro if you could help me out?
Watch the video and decide which one suits you better
Good one Sarge, never seen you ride big bikes hard, so a nice change of pace and power 😅

Curious to see a comparison between an ICE scooter and these. Pros and cons of both types.
I think other than the range advantage, the ICE scooters are losing this battle to the EVs big time and for good reason.
Hey Sagar! Epic video as always.
I have a question. Should I get the Interceptor 650 in the next 6 months, ; like is it still relevant. Or will Royal Enfield get an update for it?
There will be other 650 variants on offer from RE. So you can choose which one you like best
Yep Sagar ! But if I am looking forward for that cafe racer vibe will the Interceptor be a good option in the next 6 months.
Thanks for this video, much needed for many,
OLA has another adavantage where we don't have to pay for navigation etc, it as in inbuilt jio sim

After riding Ola s1 pro, ather gen 3 and tvs icube I felt ather gen 3 is the best option in terms of offline showroom in Bengaluru where Ola don’t have service centre and my decision was towards ather gen 3 and booked please suggest is it right decision I have taken
Please do test UV F77 when it is launched on 24th nov. First impressions

Man u should have compared OLA S1 wth ATHER 450X
Because Ola S1 pro is too far from ather 450x
OLA S1 model is enough to beat Ather 450x
Ola S1 ex showroom price 99,999
Athe 450x 1.55 lakhs
Range almost similar
Why to pay 55k more ??
Get more features than Ather
Better range
No subscription plans nothing
Best comfort
Safer braking no skidding like Ather
Even if u travel continue 60km in 1 go u will not face any backpain etc on OLA
Etc
Iska matlb agar Aether ko 40 45 pe rakhu to kareeb 90 km ki range milegi?
In the eco mode you will get 100kms range
When will next hit list is going to release really waiting for it ……❤
Good things come to those who wait 😉

Ather 450x or Splendor plus xtec ?
The splendor will definitely be more comfortable of the two
Quick question: any risk in parking Ather in heavy rain for atleast 3-4 hours , does it effect the electricals and the display
Good question. I haven't tested that yet but I don't think it should be a problem
was under rain the whole night and nothing happened except battery % dropped 2 percent.
Same with iQube. Some %drop, nothing else.!
You are the only one i Heard saying ola s1 pro is better than ather. I am ola s1 pro owner, i really enjoy the speed, above 100kms ranges it offers. Ather is monopoly in electric market before ola launched but not now. They need to come down now in price 😂...
I would personally go for the Ola1 because of the comfort it offers
Hi everyone, apart from this review by our expert sagar , I wanted to add a review , especially I am driving one of the latest Ather450Apex scooter . Below is my REALITY FEEDBACK after 1000+ kms within 1 month.
IN Sport mode -
0.5675 kms per percent / 1.7619 percent charge per km = 45 km range for 80% charge (condition: highway ride at 70 to 80 kmph) (charging time from 0 to 80 % = 140 mins - using ather grid fast charger)
Ride Mode -
0.8863 kms per percent / 1.1282 percent charge per km = 70 km range for 80% charge
(condition: highway ride at 60 kmph)
(charging time from 0 to 80 % = 120 mins minimum - using ather grid fast charger i.e 30 mins per 20 % charge )
I will put the above notes in an understandable manner :
after riding constantly in sport mode for 20 mins at 80kmph (which is faster than most scooter and a enjoyable speed) the scooter speed does reduce to 65 to 70 kmph due to thermal issues .
About charging : there are two levels of charging :
from 0 to 80% it will take 3.45 hours and
from 80 to 100 percent another 2 hours total of 5.45 hours as the company claims ,
IN Public charging it will take 30 mins per 20% charge approximately , so for 0-80% in public charger you will have to wait for a total of 120 min s minimum , otherwise if you are charging at home it won't be a issue as you can take rest and take the vehicle outside after a Slow 100% charging,
So you have to wait around 120 to 160 mins for charging from completely empty 0% to 80 % in a public charger for those who are going far distances this will be a concern ,
i have travelled between Chennai and Puducherry which is a total of approx 140 + 140 kms ,
So in reality when you drive 40 kms in RIDE mode (which is the mode you have to go in Long DISTANCE) you will lose 40 to 50% charge , hence i mentioned already you will have to wait for around 80 mins for this charge to come for example from 30 to 80%, so you ride for 40 mins and wait for 80 mins so for every 40kms distance you will spend 120 mins in total , imagine for 140kms how much i would have spend ,
So up and down i spent a total of 15 hours of travel instead of 7 hours of travel in a petrol scooter. this is the difference Between Electric and Petrol and electric scooter in Range Wise review of mine.
Sagar Bhaiya,
What is the range in Eco Mode ?
105kms on the Ather
Ather450x looks very small for a 5'10" + guys ,its is a mis match whereas ola s1 pro looks good on big guys.
The only way I can sit comfortably on the Ather is when I am sitting on the pillion seat
sir do comparison of ather 450x gen 3 vs vida v1 pro
When I get my hands on the Vida
Sagar please make a video on Honda CB 350 H'ness/RS
Unfortunately no media bike available for review
They had this issue of tire loosing air instead of saying we fixed the problem they said we made a monitoring system that cost 5000 extra so you can be sure that it is losing air😂
I haven't faced that issue

1.4L in which place

Ather problems:
Removable battery option is not there ,especially in apartments it is difficult and cost is more.
go for vida
awesome add Vida v1 Pro to this list

Why do these ₹1.5L+ scooters not have ABS ?
Good question. Because our government incorrectly believes the EVs are not fast enough ..
@@SagarSheldekarOfficial More than following Government rules for mandatory ABS, the manufacturers of these supposedly high tech and let's face it, not inexpensive scooters should see fit to equip them with Anti Lock Brakes which are a literal life saver especially on Indian "roads".
Sagar dada ❤️😊
Good to see you. Do like and share the love ahead
Ather feels like something which is built for some kind of rally it is very good to ride but not practical comfort level are zero for a scooter I own a chetak for daily commutes I get a range of around 85 90 and comfort level are excellent seats are supremely padded suspension on chetak are tuned for bad roads not stuff at all
The Ather is definitely set up quite stiff
Ola is better in real life experience..in short
A lot more comfortable

Ather is the apple of EV 2 wheelers
Wish It was more comfortable
@@SagarSheldekarOfficial exactly. Wouldn't be Apple, if it was smooth 😜😜.
if ather dress up like ola ,i would definitely bought an ather,i hate ather design and its high time ather redesign their scooter, for the price the built quality of ola is very pathetic (panel gap, button switches, back arm rest ) and heat issue is very frequent if riding under sports mode for abv 30min,its not well designed and they cant fix this via any ota ,a proper cooling system was needed for ola,but to cut down cost they went with forced air cooling, for bldc its okay for air cooling, but the ola pmac motor gets so hot and u cant cool it via forced air cool
maybe many users get fancy by move os 3 features,nd may consider ola if so buy ola s1 air ,plz do buy ola s1/s1 pro unless u are okay with riding with normal mode with 60km speed and true range is only 85km then in eco u will get another 20km and this range depends on load (i'm 90kg)
To each their own
Ola🔥
That's my pick
CHARGING NETWORK is a key point in buying a EV...I'm in Chennai here compare to OLA ATHER has better and more charging point as for as inside the city area.
I am not convinced that charging points will work in India because most charging points i have visited have always had a queue and you don't get more than 15mins of charging which will only give you another 15kms of range. Fast charging at home is something I am looking forward to
1.4 lacs are still good. I bought it from raipur at approx 1.71 lacs.
That's exshowroom
lol!!!! Its just funny to hear that OLA is better ... i sold my ola just after a month of use...pathetic build quality compared to ather.
Waiting for ultraviolette f77 🔥
