Good thing you mentioned the whole being licensed pyrotechnics and all because yes it is dangerous but there hasn’t been a single incident in the history of the band related to the fire (once they realized the had to be trained in order to perform the way they wanted to. There’s only been one incident in the early years of the band and the band when to check on the fans at the hospital so yeah, they learnt from the mistakes made and now they’re capable of delivering epic performances with the use of pyro across the globe and always making sure that the audience is safe at all times no matter what).
I’d love to see your lovely wife react to more Rammstein and I think it’d be interesting to follow the same path of songs you’ve reacted to when you first started reacting to this amazing band. That way you can fill her in on all the necessary details she needs to know in order to understand not only the depth of the lyrics but also the performance on stage.
She’ll end up loving the band I’m sure :D and once she’s ready…. It’ll be time for her to react to Bück Dich. :)

Thanks so much for the reaction. I have to be honest, I know this band since I am 16 and this was in 1997, so I have no idea how it must be for someone who never heard, for all, their topic. I love them, because they talk about things, others do not and somehow helped me often through difficult times, which I can't even explain until today, how they do it. And because of Butterflies,... Till was already helping a shelter, which helps hedgehogs with injuries and heard he did it this year again. He even was became a "godfather" (I do not know if I can translate it like that) of one. @@debibrewster9080 They where 6 fans and 5 of them could go home the same day, only one had to stay. Beside that, they hired someone, who should set up that stuff and this someone did a sh.... job, so Till decided to get the licence. I have the feeling, he is similar to myself (but it is only a guess of course). What I can do on my own, I do, because most of the time, if you want to have it as perfect as possible, you are doomed if you hand it down to others. And yes, I had more than once such an experience, so I do so much I can on my own, because then I can only blame myself. You can also see, that this accident get's on them. It is not the best quality, because it was in 1996, but if you are interested: ruclips.net/video/Q6mtyD4niKc/видео.html Till gets off the stage and helps, while the rest of the band continues to play, so that the rest in there are not panicking. I think this is one of the reason, why not more happened, but they got also nearly "crucified" for that decision. In my opinion, it was the better way, to continue with the concert. Till also apologises after the song is finished and ask if everyone is alright. One of the less times, where they actually address the audience. Enjoy the rest of the day and have a nice weekend.
the funny thing is, when I watched them live this year they actually brought out what can only be described as what looked like a AA gun that shot out flames after he used the "big" flamethrower.
So awesome you get to watch this LIVE, pyrotechnic masterpiece with the wife! And the fact you chose this ,made it more epic!

I just watched the first reaction to this song from a year ago, best reaction I've seen. When Mrs Heretic smiled at Flake running round the stage with what looks like fire crackers attached to him at the end, she smiled , that was good, all the best bands and especially metal bands have a great sense of humour.. Rammstein definitely have a big sense of humour, especially when you check out their music vids, there's one where they have fat suits on, there's one where they travel to a distant island and the native chicks dance topless because they never wear tops as that's their culture. Actually, the entire band and crew are certified pyrotechnicians, but Till has a higher level of knowledge (and certification level) and plans out most of their "stunts" with fire.

Good reaction, Dave, and nice to 'meet' ur Mrs. Like I said before (in your first reaction to this), in other videos, there is a 3rd even bigger flame-thrower, that looks like a Howitzer gun. Not sure why they only did the first 2 in this, but check out 'Rammstein-Mein Teil-(Live Video-2019).' In that video, after the first 2, the 3rd massive flame-thrower rises from the stage, and now, the keyboard player has put on a silver fireproof suit (like Volcanologists wear), and he proceeds to get 'cooked', again! Amazing!

I think Rammstein got the idea for this song from a criminal case in Germany a few years ago. Someone was looking for someone on social media who would eat him. He actually found someone. They met. He was killed and part of him was probably eaten.

Idk if somebody mentioned it allready, but the Song relates to a extreme Crime case in Germany (i believe in the late 90s). Local TV Stations and Newspapers reported on it. Its about the Cannibal of Rotenburg which cutted the Pen.s of his victim, eated it while the Victim bleeded to death.

Just think, Till could roast like several hundred people in the front rows plus a stampede if he wanted to. That would be some kind of world record and then tied to back the song would be one of the most epic public atrocities ever recorded. Lots of trust given to Ramstein to be doing some of this stuff.

@@debibrewster9080 She'll be doing more, unfortunately with her crazy work schedule and with the type of work she does, she can't commit to doing anything for the channel on a regular basis. She would love to, but with all the unexpected traveling she does, and the insane hours she works (80 - 100 hours a week), she just doesn't want to make any promises and then have to break them due to her work. But whenever she can, she'll jump on the channel. I think the RUclips bug bit her, she keeps bugging me to do the next video. She'll be doing another one when we hit 25,000 members in The Fanbase.

To note, Til is a licensed pyrotechnician, and I can't recall any pyro-incident in their history.
There was an accident in 1992 i think they had something burning (what a shock ) that fell on the stage and i think after that they all made their license

Actually all the crazy stunts involving Flake are his ideas. Flake is a very active and high energy person in the beginning he would Walk around onstage which was ok in the very beginning but when they started using more and more Pyro it more dangerous for him to just be walking around the stage so that's how the idea for the treadmill came from..so Flake could still keep walking and be safe at the same time. Flake said that being a keyboard player is not exactly exciting so whenever the group get together to record new music and get ideas for music videos, life Performances etc. Flake will present his ideas and the they will talk about it and only when all 6 of them agree will anything get approved and passed. These guys are absolutely great men who have known each since before Rammstein was formed in 1994. One thing I just read about is that during the recording of the Mutter album, For one song, not known which, Till wrote 24 different lyrics before finally, everyone in the band agreed. That shows that every single member is valued and everyone is heard. Yes more reasons why Ich liebe Rammstein 😍💕

Hello David, just to clarify this for you, your lady, and everybody else who isn't speaking german, but is reading comments: "Mein Teil" can be translated into my part, BUT in this song it refers to the penis, as they both (the cannibal and the victim) have eaten the victims penis. So "my share" cannot be considered in anyway as a translation for "mein Teil" in this particular sense Rammstein meant it in this song (usually "mein Teil" or "mein Anteil" is my share, yes. But not in this song). Hope i could help you understand the (meaning of the) songtitle better 😊

It was the coolest thing I've evrr experienced. I don't know if you do full concert reactions but if yes i would highly recommend Rammstein live 2019 in St. Petersburg ( no official footage is yet released so it's all fan filmed but very well edited and filmed , I'm sure if you watch the full show you will have a damn good time)

David, it is not fair, if you want to make someone (and girl especially) to love Rammstein, you'd better show some Engel or Mutter, or Du rechts so gut etc, but if you want to impress - this song is one of the best choice (another one could be Bück Dich)
