They knew "Beds are Burning" by Midnight Oil, so I couldn't understand it at all. I was doing karaoke on an island near Stockholm with a bunch of Germans, Norwegians and Swedes. They didn't have the music of course, so I just screamed the lyrics. They never asked me to sing again ;)

I have NEVER seen a better live band and that includes "The Stones" ...or anyone else you would choose to put up against them.

Warwick I saw Dragon Live on 5 occasions as well as seeing Split Enz ...INXS....and Midnight Oil all before they became big.
Mark Hunter was an excellent front man.
I was actually very disappointed with INXS saw them at Selina's in The Coogee Bay Hotel and didn't think they were that good to be honest...maybe just a bad gig
Also one of the great things that the Student Union at Uni Of NSW organised, was a free 1 hour gig for good bands on the library lawn on Wednesday Lunchtimes
LOL saw the Cockroaches there once
Some members of which became "The Wiggles"

"Khe San" great song written by Don Walker and guaranteed to get a whole pub singing along, played it in bands and as a DJ, a classic Aussie rock song, but cleverly poignant, articulate & direct. The Viet vets were not treated with the respect due, by many and had trouble adjusting. My uncle came back a different man, he would ask me to play Khe San or "I was only 19" and he would enjoy it but soon he would go into a quiet, pensive mood almost a depressive state. I soon learnt not to play these to him. Admiration & respect to our Vets, most were called up by their birthdate - conscription.

i think this is the best song and im only 14 and i think its sad that its being fazed out because its 'old'. all this modern music goes out so fast but because this song is a classic it will never go out.

I left my heart to the sappers around Khe San. ...I get it now. Brothers in arms. Your love for your fellow man is a tribal thing. It is a gay thing in society. Women don't like being left out.

A little tame by Chisel standards. Love the crowd, vary from 18 (guess) to 55 (me at the time) They all love it! Me, personally would love to have seen it in a pub, with Barnes trying to push The Band Harder and Faster. Love it, all the same. Ringside was first opportunity for me to see this Legendary Band.

evokes much more passion and patriotism than any national anthem could ever do.

I'd travel to Australia just to get hammered and belt out this song with a barfull of likewise drunk Aussies.
