Thanks for sharing your story of how you're adapting to this big move and change in your life style! I admire your courage, strength, strong will, determination (whatever the best word is) to make all the changes you've made in your life. Do you ever get bored or stir crazy? Miss people? I'm 68 and can't imagine moving hours away from my kids/grandkids/greatgrandkids and I haven't felt that's what the Lord wants me and my hubby to do.....yet. I have become more physically fit and feel better healthwise than in years past.......if you don't "use" it, you "lose" it! I volunteer for a nearby foodbank and have learned to garden. Hubby built me a greenhouse and 3 raised gardens. So I keep busy. Are your days busy on the homestead?
Thank you .. Not to busy as of yet.. When we get cows and pigs then it will be more busy.. It was hard.. But you get used to it..id rather do the change before the change is forced on me..it is peaceful and quiet.. But Thank you!
Rubber boots, you have the water with the rods, it will work, do the well. It’s work but it’s physical labor. Great on the solar. Yes, the world has changed indeed. Keep on growing, we’ve been expanding more into growing. Keep doing the things, that book is important. The dust won’t end and the vacuums nowadays really suck to be honest. Shovel some stuff to gain the muscles Shell.

Our first chocolate lab weighed 115 pounds and was a big loveable bear! Best wishes for continued success on your homestead! On a lighter note, I stopped coloring my hair about a year ago! I decided the chemicals were probably not the best thing for my brain or overall health!!😎🇺🇸
Hauling water is grueling and tedious. It should help with gaining muscle. Yes, your own well will be great! I hope your garden thrives! Your solar sounds perfect for your cabin. You've been through a lot to get where you needed to be. I'm sure it's hard to be that far away from your daughter. 😔 That's the truth about relationships changing in the last few years. The number of people I thought were friends and some family members have vanished from my life. Sad but true. 😢 I'm so glad you got your channel back up! Hank is going to be huge!
