Why mahar? We brahmin, teli, kunbi, mali, koli, ramoshi, agre, kayastha, mahar, chambhar, kalal, maratha, gond, pathare prabhu, kumbhar, sonar, khatik, gowari, lohar, dhangar etc. maybe divided by caste but we're united by region and language. Instead of caste, you can also prefer marathi.

Actually Marwadi is common name for Bania/Vaishy in Maharashtra, Gujrat and other South regions because almost all Clothes Traders Big Kiran Sellers, Namkeen Chips ect trader or Manufacturers are Bania speaking Marwadi, so there is confusion when person from north without prior knowledge of this situation hears this facts.
Though there flaws in video because they used Google more and less other sources like talking to community people ect.
They mixed Rajasthani Culture with Agarwal community or Baniya.

Actually marwaries are combination of different community, like khandelwal, jain, maheshwari, agrawal
Actually all are descendants of Maharaj Agrasen, later they got divided on basis of regions, works and specialities, Khandelwal for gold and silver, ect. Jain who are businessmen and use surname as Jain are Agarwal or almost Jains are from Agarwal community only, but they follow Jain Philosophy
