Bharat? Where was it? History records ancient Tamil country of the Chéra, Chozha and Pandya kingdoms in ancient Dravidian India, whose trade and naval conquests covered most of the countries in the Southern hemisphere, whose pyramid temples spread across the Chozha Tamil Empire stand as a witness to their unique architecture and culture.Vasco da Gama sailed to the Malabar country, as Cochin rivalled Lisbon as the world's trading centres, not to Bharat! A host of travellers from the West, the Middle East, China and the Far East have left historical records of what they saw and heard as they travelled through the Magda country, Mysore country,Malabar country and Travancore country: Funny no one ever travelled in Bharat, the country to be found only in fiction, myth and Purana.François Bernier, French physician who travelled in Mughal India, actually witnessed forced widow-burning by Brahmin priests in Lahore and Surat and shocked at the horror wished he had power to slaughter the devilish Brahmin priests for the ghastly crime against helpless widows. How come there is not a single historical record of any settlement in the vicinity of the Indus Valley? Perhaps Scythian settlement of the nomadic pastoral tribes from the Steppes, the forefathers of Brahmins in India, was the Bharat of the folklore.

Interesting. Is there any link between Spanish and Sindhis? I find they share similarities in terms of facial features with Sindhis. Also, their flamenco is variant of Sindhi laddas?
@Ivy Malik I know about this Sindhi issue. Pakistan is only looking for those who are sunni muslims regardless of the ethnic background. Look at their Hindu, Christian population.. Decreasing drastically every year (don't know whether they are converting to islam happily or they are being forcefully converted) . About Sindhis, if they go back, they will only keep their language. 😄 Nothing else. Don't expect these things in such a radically transformed country
Original sindhi script was Sharda and not Persian arabi ! Unfortunately it’s because of our so called Sindhi masters Sindhi language is almost dead in India ! First it was killed by Muslim rulers then it was killed by ignorant sindhi leaders ! It’s a shame that there is almost negligible modern literature of this very ancient community and as you rightfully said language is dying ! I wish if not the original script revived at least Dev nagari was adopted so in india Sindhis who were studying Hindi could also learn Sindhi in schools !
There is no language God in any part of the world.Sanskrit per se is Avestan language of the Persians of 500 B.C, revered as the language of the Persian Vedas, hymns, prayers and rituals adopted by the migrant nomadic tribes from the Steppes written the Indus Valley Tamil script, except that the consonants were h aspirated, as is done in Greek: Ινδός (Indos) > ' Ινδός ( Ηindos). As the name itself proves, Sanskrit is an assembled language, unlike Tamil, the only language spoken from Baluchistan to Cape Comerin (Kanyakumari), the language of the Indus Valley Civilization and mother of all the living and dead languages. As far Hindi, which has no place in the currency of British India, is Hindustani Persian of Mughal India, Urdu in Pakistan and Farsi in Iran.Arabic, the Semitic language is a living language and the national language of at least twenty countries across the globe, unlike Sanskrit, a dead ritual language hardly spoken anywhere in the world, justification for Sindhi written in Arabic script.
I am a Sindhi Memon born in Kenya. Our ancestors moved from a town called Nasserpur (Sindh) in present day Pakistan some 350 years ago, to Kutch in Gujarat. Our sindhi language got influenced by Kutchi (which has a lot of common Gujarati words) and that is why Kutchi and Sindhi sound so similar.
I’m not a Sindhi. I’m 50 % Rajasthani (Marwar) and 50% Indori (Malwa). But in those two areas there are a lot of Sindhis and my parents had a lot of Sindhi friends growing up. In fact, one of my cousin is married to a Sindhi and he is a really awesome guy. I request all to not give any negative stereotypes about the great community called the Sindhis
I from Chhattisgarh. There are a lot of Sindhis here. Most of them are successful businessmen. They do a lot of charities. However success comes with jealousy and hostility. Some of them unfortunately face hostility from local people that they are having too much control over the business and politics in the state. I hope sanity prevail. As an Indian we need to remain united and look after each other.
How sad , some humans are unfortunately designed to not feel happy when others are doing well. It’s wonderful to see that the Sindhis over there are contributing back to society.

Sindhi's are great people! Always knew about their history and am glad Whack made this video as I know many who don't know about them, like for instance in Pune's PCMC area we have large settlement of Sindhi's in Pimpri region. Young people know this region is filled with Sindhi's but don't know why they are here or how they ended up in Pimpri, it was a British army camp which was later made into a refugee camp to settle all these people arriving from Sindh. Now they've transformed this region into a great marketplace filled with businesses where you can find almost everything! Was happy to read that recently in 2015, finally the state govt decided to provided ownership of the lands where they had settled to them after what like 60 years of settlement?
Guru Nanak living in the hearts of almost every sindhi has been missed to include in this video. Almost every sindhi is NanakPanthi & Guru Nanak devji has got lot of influences on Sindhis . My humble suggestion is to reshoot the video with influence of Baba Nanak on Sindhi culture 🙏🏻🙏🏻

There was a Sindhi boy in my standard, while in school. A lot of other boys used to tease & call him "Pakistani". But he never responded to their remarks. Then they stopped doing so. It's crazy who must be teaching these young children to speak of Sindhis like this...

Finally a RUclips video on India’s diversity by an Indian. Great job on such videos. Love the fact that people from the respective communities are participating in this.
Indians should read about Amarkot/Umerkot, a small province ,which by chance is in Pakistan, could have been in India if tried and thus we too, would have had a tiny but visible Sindhi speaking state in India.
How did you miss out Raja Daahir, the heroic King of sindh! He fought great battles against Islamic invasion! Even his daughters had contributed immensely! I thought you did thorough research! Hope you purposely didn't omit it for obvious reasons?
He wasn’t a heroic king, he was the son of a usurper. 99% of Sindhi Hindus (including the ones in this video) are Lohanas by caste and Dahir oppressed Lohanas and banned them from riding horses, forced them to wear black etc. since they were Buddhists.

@Ivy Malik I know about this Sindhi issue. Pakistan is only looking for those who are sunni muslims regardless of the ethnic background. Look at their Hindu, Christian population..
Sharda script came after Islam(800s-1200s). There were older script in Sindh which isnt Sharda
