They are recording large number on interviews on partition and they have specifically asked me to interview as many Sindhi people I can because they culture, language and history is so important to be preserved. My family also migrated in 1947 and I have heard stories about partition all my life. I am not a Sindhi but my family worships jhulelaal. They tell me he is our kulguru. I have been always surprised to think that may be somewhere down the roots I have a Sindhi lineage too. I am excited to explore as many Sindhi narratives I can. There are hundred of painful stories of people in my community which I grew up listening please reach out to folks, you would get great Netflix documentary sort of content. I feel blessed to be born in India and a Proud Indian. But I have one Question- Three communities which faced a lot of hardship of partition - Punjabi , Bengali and Sindhis. However Punjabis got Punjab , Bengali got Bengal, we(Sindhi) never asked reservation nor we get any additional support from any govt so far since independence. BUT one of most UNLUCKIEST are Sindhis they lost ENTIRE STATE, due to which I feel in certain years we will lose language and culture because we were intentional kept disintegrated in country .. Why they never provided even 5 cities where they can live with concentrated Sindhi population so that this community can flourish in so many ways and have representation at various walks of life ?? Hope to hear views from Hindu Sindhis . Thanks - Proud Indian and a Sindhi
