NVIDIA is the dominant leader in AI and the preferred technology partner globally. Even w new competition on the horizon, NVIDIA is far ahead of the competition. 85% market share. 76% margin. Unrivaled demand for new Blackwell chip. Demand far exceeds production for Blackwell through to 2025 and beyond. No competitor has anything close to Blackwell. And forward P/E is about 33 (cheap for a high growth stock). Buy this stock and wait. You will be rewarded.

We had an advisor from Morgan Stanley in our corner. Maxed 401k for many years and then saved additional in index funds in taxable account. Our rate of return has been around 10% percent per year in the taxable account over the last 10 years.

True. I first came across investing in the market in 2019. Already stashed about $480k in savings then, and the free money from the Government was pouring in, increasing inflation rate. I just got an advisor and kept the money there, just because I didn't want to keep the value of the money depreciating in the bank. Tbh, it's the best investment decision I've made since then.

If all they think all 'good companies' are investible, they will eventually lose a lot of money from overpaying for these good or even great companies. At the end of the day, Palantir needs to do exceptionally well just to give you 'reasonable returns'. It will need to be absolutely amazing to give you above average returns. In my country, Denmark, there is one big fund that buys PLTR, and the women behind is a quite good investor. She has been saying big tech mag 7 for years and years, GOOG and so on. She was often in the business paper here, called "Børsen" (Translated, stock exchange/market place) yeah i know funny name. But she made her point again, and again, these businesses have dominant and monopolistic business models. So far she's been right.
Everyone thought that big tech couldn't perform anymore, she hold her positions.
I have a position in PLTR, som i am biased. But it's a very small position. I also thought FICO was so so expensive, but here we are over 60% in return. Sometimes you have to dip the toe.
Winners often keep winning, and that's why you should hold your winners, and sell the losers!

The simple solution is that you don't start with a full position in companies that you think are expensive. You start with 10 or 20 percent of your normal position size. In time if it pulls back, you buy some more. In time if it keeps going up, you buy more and be happy that you own a little at a lower price. Simple DCA, NO BIG DEAL.
