Hi @JosephCarlsonAfterHours. Have you seen what AZN has done? It's a monopolistic global swedish pharma company. It's at a very cheap price for the stock right now.
@@dgi012 so does most SaaS but companies have budgets and pay for it anyway. I think the growth the last few months is from $CRM being undervalued initially

Hopefully the games industry is able to get back to creating great interactive stories.
Hi Joseph, the piece on CRM reminded me of Terry Smith’s biggest concern with NVDA. Namely that companies who are buying the chips need to make money from AI. If no one can convert this AI processing power into money making products and services, GPU sales will level off quickly and perhaps drop. The news from Salesforce tells us that they have an AI product and believe they can make money. We also learned from the META earnings call that they are getting a return on AI. So we have some early evidence that those Nvidia GPUs are driving now revenue streams.
I had never traded in the "after hours " session until the day Salesforce dropped 16%. I bought a huge position in it that day and have no intention of selling anytime soon.
IU gotta give props to you my man. You called it, it went down, and you double down and put more in. I followed your advice right as you did it. And I appreciate the advice. You are a wise one. You really nailed it.props
Tbh kinda weird that they hired so many salespeople to sell a thing that is designed to allow businesses to pass off selling their products to Ai rather than hiring more salespeople. Would be more impressive if it could sell itself.

I agree with Joseph. Stocks are assets, crypto is commodity. Asset brings positive cash flow to your pocket. Buying commodities you are expecting others to buy them from you with a high price in the future.
IMHO Salesforce is definitely not an AI company. It's no different then when other companies started saying they were a tech company. It's just a ploy to throw around buzz words to get unknowing investors excited. I do think that B2B AI companies is where we will see the vast majority of AI used and money to be made. In contrast look at X with grok or Facebook with Llama where does that leave Salesforce? Even IBM has their own "AI" with the new Granite model.
How are you defining AI? Companies that use Salesforce often have practically ALL their data in salesforce. Salesforce AI lets them deploy specialised agents to help customers and staff with specific business processes and tasks. I
Bitcoin has intrinsic value as software that proves ownership of a scarce asset. Saying it doesn't have value is like saying Facebook has no value. It has the same positive network effects. As long as it's being used it's tremendously valuable

His explanation is quite poor and shows a blind spot. All value is completely subjective. He and Buffet (among others) speak of intrinsic value as if intrinsic were a synonym for objective. It’s not. Intrinsic value is subjective also. The dollar, the benchmark which most everyone uses to measure the value of their stocks, also has a value that’s completely subjective. The value of the dollar, as a means of exchange for other goods consistently loses value, whereas Bitcoin MAY lose value relative to other goods, but so far has mostly gained value in that respect.
Maybe I'm missing something but if Salesforce's AI agents are so good that they can follow-up leads and sell product; why not use the AI Agents to sell said AI Agent product instead of hiring 1000 actual salespeople to do it? Me thinks those AI Agents of theirs may be able to do some, but certainly not all the tasks of a human yet. I mean, after all; wouldn't the BEST advertisment of an AI Sales Agent be that said AI Sales Agent contacted you and managed to sell itself all the while you thought you were dealing with a real human? Then Salesforce could "leak" that news to the press and voilà! Instant free marketing!
Joseph, love your videos and the way you think about companies. How you pick stocks based on sound fundamentals. Have you considered doing a video that goes through these fundamentals (ROCE, stock buy backs, FCF yield, etc.) one by one and talks about their importance when considering a company? I’d love to hear your thoughts on these and how they relate to one another in your mind.
I was just about to comment something similar. I would love to see how a company gets on your radar, and once they are what fundamentals you look at to determine a stock is undervalued, and how you determine what price you are going to buy at.
I was just hired after finishing University with my higherups literally saying that my job is to look at what my senior/mentor is doing and to create agentic and non-agentic gen AI systems that replace what he is doing manually. So I'm a consultant working to create AI consultants replacing the job that I would have had were it 30 years ago lmao. Value (even intrinsic) is subjective. To pretend the value of a stock doesn’t also depend upon what others agree it’s worth is just silly. The company has no legal requirement to steer the cashflow your direction. The subjective value given to the stock price is the only real motivator for them to do so. There’s really no real-life scenario where you could end up the sole stockholder of a publicly traded company and that be a positive financial result for you.
The value of the dollar, the benchmark you use to measure the value of your companies, is also completely subjective. Just like Bitcoin, you are completely dependent upon someone else agreeing that your dollar has value at the time of your wanting to exchange it. The main difference between the dollar and bitcoin is that you can 100% guarantee that the value of your dollar as a means of exchange will be less in the future than it is today. Bitcoin that may be the case, but it might also have more value. The major of its existence that has been the case.
I definitely would’ve like to not have missed on this opportunity… but I did, but now I’m a little more skeptical since I feel a lot of this pumping of prices is definitely emotional because of Trump’s presidential win, BUT this begs the question: how can you tell when something is actually set in motion now with the new president, and what was already accounted for emotionally since Trump’s announcement?
