It was good except for the 34AD problem.
A.D. 34 ended the 70 weeks or 490 year’s probation of Israel. Those that believe in the false rapture being that verse 27 is about Antichrist which is totally false, no word hints that it is about Antichrist, but is about Christ. Anyway, they take the last week or 7 years and move it to the future, for a false 7 year tribulation. These people have been deceived. When Stephen was stoned in A.D. 34 the Gospel went to the Gentiles.
@@dianechapmanbettyboopdiane it is not possible that Stephen was stoned on a Day of Atonement. So the day he died could not possibly have had anything to do with the 70 week prophecy at all.
Let's be good Bereans to understand that the clock stopped at the cross, and in the future, the angel in Revelation 10 will state: "There shall be delay no longer", and then there is a 3 1/2 year period (1269, 1290, and 1335 days).
@@statutesofthelord Where does the Bible say that Stephen was stoned on the day of atonement or that he couldn’t have been stoned on the day of atonement. I’m not sure I understand that part of your claim.
Also, Revelation 10:6 doesn’t say that there will be ‘delay’ no longer. The word used is ‘chronos’ which means time. The translations that use ‘delay’ here instead of ‘time’ contain a mistranslation. This verse is saying that after the 2300 day prophecy there are no more time prophecies.
The 70 week prophecy in Daniel 9 perfectly matches with the baptism of Christ and with His death 3.5 years later and then with the gospel going to the gentiles short after that (the time that is cutoff for the Jews is over when the gospel goes to the gentiles). There is no hint anywhere that this prophecy is put on pause for thousands of years and that the last few years happen right before the end.

re: The Question about unequally yoked: In my church we recently had a memorial service for a member who was married to a wonderful woman for 39 years! She is a Presbyterian. He of course a Seventh Day Adventist. it was a second marriage for both of them. When they married, it blended both families with children. He was a doctor to boot. Now at his memorial service the children from both sides commented about how they all went to church on Saturday AND then on Sunday for all of those years and still do as adult married children!!! For them it became part of what they did as a family. Going to Dad's church and then the next day going to mom's church. I knew this couple for 15 years. They loved each other very, very much. I finally met the adult children. What a wonderful group of people! They are just wonderful, loving, kind and love Jesus very much. They understand the Gospel, understand the Three Angels message and know the truth of the Sabbath! However, they choose to also keep one foot in the door of Sunday church going in order to be able to stay friends of those who do not know these things to keep the invitation open to those who might wish to know about SDA faith and the Three Angels message!! Their mom is one of my best friends and personal prayer partners. She is a paid organizst for the Presbyterian Church she is a member of still. She also attends our church too. She will not stop going to either church! She loves both churches! She has a network of friends at both churches.
Therefore, it is up to God to decide how people should marry and conduct themselves. I think this might have been a rare instance. For her, her husband had died. For him, she had left him, and he was lonely and needed a help mate. His children came to love his second wife as their mom over the years. He died of Alzsheimers dementia finally. The last 2 years of his life was very hard. The children were very grateful for his wife, my friend, who took such good care of her husband right to the end. She was there loving him r ight to the point where he did not know her anymore. She did not give up, she remained at his side until his dying breath. She loved him so much. All of HIS children witnessed this, and had so much words of love and affection for their step mom, which they did not call her step mom, but called her mom. I cried, I was so touched by their displays of affection. It was obviously a good marriage. One thing I will say, they all attended BOTH churches together as a family every weekend. They honored the Sabbath, and then attended as an entire family church again on Sundays. So the children simply said this: Half of us are SDA believers the other half is Sunday believers, but together we are all believers in Jesus Christ and the gospel of Jesus Christ. WE all believe in the second coming! Some of us still attend both churches, some of us due to job constraints have been forced to pick one day over the other, but for the most part we love Jesus thanks to MOM and DAD.
So I wanted to say that if this man or person loves someone that goes to church on a Sunday, if that person agrees to go to church with him on Sabbath and he agrees to attend and accept her and go to her church on Sunday--and they make a committment and accept each other in love--then like my friends, they could have a very happy marriage and have wonderful children who are balanced. it is up to them and God and lots of prayer and tolerance and acceptance. Getting rid of the attitude of who needs to be right and just accepting Christ as their leader. I just felt I had to share this important story. God Bless!
We, as Christians, worship God EVERY day. Going to church on Sunday (or Monday, Tuesday, etc.) is not against anything in scripture. Forsaking the 7th-day Sabbath however IS against what the bible teaches. The mark of the beast of Rev 13 cannot be received UNTIL enforced by law beginning in the USA. That would include abandoning the 7th-day Sabbath in favor of Sunday as a day of rest.
BTW we are not yet living under the 3rd angel's message of Rev 14. We can warn it is coming but until it arrives the warning to not receive it will not be as effective until it is enforced by law. When it actually become present day truth. We are still under the 1st and 2nd angel's messages: 1st) God's Judgement (1844) and worshiping the true Creator (Saturday) and 2nd) The warning about churches falling back into the errors of Catholicism. THIS is our present day truth. This is where the power of the Spirit is right now..... Haven't you noticed the conflicts that arise when these subjects are even mentioned? It's the frontline of the spiritual battle ATM - 11-25-23

My Uncle and his school friend. Both men were SDA. My uncle married an SDA young lady, and his friend married a Catholic. 40 something years later, my uncles wife is seperated. His friend however, his wife got baptised into SDA and 40 years on they are still going strong.

keren, this is a good message, but please remember that the stoning of Stephen could not have been the end of the 70 week prophecy.
A.D. 34 or 490 year prophecy is correct, The Gospel goes to the Gentiles.
Some Protestant Pastors that want to preach a false secret rapture, they take the last week or 7 years and falsely move it to the future to make a false 7 year tribulation. They claim that last week is about Antichrist, when it is actually about Christ and the Crucifixion. So much deception behind taught in most Protestant Churches
The Bible says those that had part of the first resurrection will not be affected by the second death!
Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Daniel 12: 11-12. The great tribulation will be 1335 days. 3 years and 8 months. Those who make it to the end of the 1335 days will be Blessed meaning they will see Jesus coming with clouds of Angels and meet Him in the air. At this time Jesus will NOT touch the earth.

Early writings chapter, "the shaking" shows that the tribulation is the reaction the powerful latter rain. And in Great controversy, at the end of the latter rain Satan causes fire to fall from heaven in the sight of men. The Greek word means "lightning". It's possible that a special demonstration of lightning and it's accompanying massive thunder will inaugurate Satan's
impersonation of Christ's return. That may be when the Sunday law comes.

according to SDA teaching the church is the sanctuary, Dan 8:14 says "Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed" which is clear that the result of the 2300 yrs fulfillment is that the sanctuary shall be cleansed not that it eventually will be, therefore the 1844 teaching says that the church IS cleansed as of 1844 which is the same teaching as once saved always saved which is also a false teaching according to Rev 2 & 3 encouraging us to not lose our crown in the end time(Rev 11:7-15, Matt 24:13-14, Nisan 2023 - Tishri 2027)
1844 is when the cleansing of the sanctuary BEGAN to be cleansed. You really need to consider the original Hebrew and the lingo of the times....

the Bible is clear that when the 2300 yrs are fulfilled, the sanctuary IS cleansed. Just like the Bible is clear that when Jesus has sent the holy Spirit after his death/resurrection/ascension the prince of this world IS judged(John 16:11) Besides, if we are the sanctuary, then the doctrine of the investigative judgement proves once saved always saved, but Rev 2 & 3 disproves both. the second woe is soon upon us(Rev 11:7-15 when they shall have finished their testimony, Nov 2023 - Apr 2027) the third woe cometh quickly(Rev 2:5, 2:16, 3:11, 11:14, 22:7, 22:12, 22:20)
@@stewiefy But the bible is clear. Both the 70 weeks of Daniel 9 and the 2,300 years of Daniel 8 have the same start point. Dan. 9s 490 years began in 457BC and ended in 34AD. This means the 2,300 years of Daniel 8 also started in 457BC and would then end in 1844. Your misunderstanding of the what the cleansing of the sanctuary is does not change this fact.
You see Gabriel was commissioned to make Daniel to understand the vision of Chapter 8 (verse 16) but only got as far as to say "And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true" (verse 26). Everything else in the vision of chapter 8 was explained but Daniel fainted and was sick for several days (verse 27). Gabriel never finished explaining the vision.
So Gabriel came back at a later time to finish what he was told to do (9:22). Since the 2300 years was the only thing left unexplained from the previous chapter Gabriel went right on into explaining the time line in more detail.
"Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people" (verse 24) is where Gabriel starts. The word "determined" is a mistranslation from the original Hebrew. It's the word "ḥāṯaḵ" which actually means "to cut off" from something else. Specifically "from the beginning" of something else. The interpreters of the KJV couldn't figure out what the 70 weeks were cut off from (that part of the prophecy was still sealed until 1798) so they substituted the word "determined" instead.
If you claim the 2300 years did not end in 1844 then your dates on Dan 9s 70 weeks are off as well. You're treading dangerous ground now. Jesus on the cross "to make reconciliation for iniquity" (verse 24). was in the spring of 31AD.....
@@stewiefy You may also want to consider that Yom Kippur (the earthly pattern of the cleansing of the heavenly sanctuary) began at sunset (the 10th of Tishrei) and lasted for a full 24 hours. It did not end the very minute it began.
The 1st angel's message of Rev 14:6-7 states the "hour" ("ōra") "time" of God's judgement has come. The text in no way implies "ended the same time it began".
The cleansing of the sanctuary BEGAN in 1844 and will not end until Jesus stands up and says "whosoever is righteous let him be righteous still, etc."
You may also want to read Rev 8:3-5....
@@davidstarr6604 God clearly told Daniel the starting point for the 70 weeks, but no starting point is given for the 2300 yrs. Using the starting point of another prophecy is an assumption and a bad one considering that two different prophecies have no reason to start simultaneously. the sanctuary not being cleansed in 1844 proves your folly.
also doubtful that Gabriel would pick up where he left off with Daniel 15 yrs prior.
Jesus fulfilled the 70th week preaching to Daniels people for 3 1/2 yrs, being caught up to heaven in the midst of the week, and sending the holy Spirit to preach to the Jews only for the last 3 1/2 yrs. At that time(Acts 10, Rev 14:6, Matt 24:14) the gospel went forth to the Jews and the Gentiles(Gal 3:28) the 2300 yrs involve none of these aspects, rather they have to do with the rise and fall(Dan 11:40-45, Rev 19:7-21) of the legs to ten toes kingdom(beginning perhaps in 274 BC to 2027, with Rome's addition of southern Italy(Dan 8:9) after the expulsion of Pyrrhus of Epirus unto the ten nations that will give their power unto the beast(Rev 17:12-17) in the last 42 months aka the last 3 1/2 yrs(Rev 13:5, Dan 12:7, Matt 24:13-14, Rev 11:7-15, Amos 8:11-12)
I fully believe the 70 weeks were fulfilled from 457 BC to 27 AD when Jesus was anointed to preach to the spring of 31 AD when He was cut off in the midst of the week to the gospel going forth to all nations in 34 AD. knowing that the 2300 yrs end when Jesus returns does not change any of that. these two prophecies have nothing to do with one another. telling people that God said something that He did not is treading on dangerous ground(John 5:43, Rev 13:1, Rev 14:8-12, Rev 13:11-18, 2 Thes 2:2-12)
I also believe Jesus was anointed by the holy Spirit to preach(Luke 4:18) the Gospel in the fall of 27 AD and could come back in the spring 2000 yrs later in 2027 AD(Rev 11:7-15 when they shall have finished their testimony, Nov 2023 - Apr 2027) because James 5:7 the husbandman will receive the early and latter rain aka fruit of the earth, Joel 2:23 says the former and latter rain are in the first month, Esther 3:7 says the first months is Nisan, 1 Cor 15:23 says that the only resurrections of the righteous are Christ the firstfruits and they that are his at his coming(Rev 14:14-16) Rev 14:1-5 says the firstfruits are the 144,000, and Matt 27:52-53 says graves were opened with Jesus after Him which has to be the firstfruits aka 144,000. Therefore, if the early rain was received in Nisan at Passover, so to will the latter rain(Rev 14:14-16) and if the two witnesses have finished their testimony 42 months before Jesus returns in Nisan 2027, then that would begin in Nov 2023.

So in 34AD there was an end to rebellion, sin brought to completion, atonement for iniquity and perpetual righteousness was brought in along with the sealing of the prophetic vision and the anointing of the Most Holy Place.
None of those things happened in 34AD.

Revelation 13:5 The beast was given a mouth speaking proud words and blasphemies, and he was permitted to exercise ruling authority for forty-two months.
As the beastly power has never "been permitted" to exercise ruling authority for 42 months, and certainly not over every tribe and nation, we can know for sure, from the Bible, that there is a final, future fulfillment to this and other prophecies.

It is clear angels have existed since the beginning of creation [Job 38:7]. Sometime prior to Genesis 3, Satan [then a leading angel] rebelled against God and was judged [Ezekiel 28; Isaiah 14].
The Bible tells us that the war began with an angel named Lucifer, who was described as a “covering cherub” [Ezekiel 28:14-16]. In that very moment Israel as a nation sealed its fate. God judged the nation of Israel. Could God had judged Israel when they crucified His beloved son, totally. But God’s prophecies most be fulfilled exactly at the time He has appointed for it. And as Israel was judged, the rest of the nations on earth will be. The important point here for us to know is, are we opened to receive Jesus in our live, today? Remember, every material thing is replaceable. We ain’t. And we are the reason He came to save. It could be, we don’t know, that our nations are being judged right now. That ain’t the point. The point is us. He is reaching for us, jus as He is reaching for those in Israel that still can be reached. And last, here is what Paul says about some of us who worry about the nation we were born in, “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.
It was a good sermon except for the 34AD problem. It is not possible that the 70 week prophecy ended then.
At the end of the 70 Week Prophecy or 490 year prophecy the Jews as a nation are lost. Jesus said to them,”May you never bear fruit again”. The Jews rejected Jesus, as they still do today. However, they can still be saved if they accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour and Messiah. Fortunately, some have become Messianic Jews, worshipping Jesus if they’re faithful along with all other faithful saints of God.

In 1844 Jesus started to judge mankind that are dead. The living will be judged during the great tribulation. 1335 days. Everything is a day for a day now. The Juliean Calander ended in 1994. This was one of the things sealed up in the book of Daniel. With God timing is everything. There are NO symbolic NUMBERS in the BIBLE.
No prophecy is of any private interpretation.

The 1290 days/years of Daniel 12:11 refers to the time period from 508 - 1798. 508 was when Clovis, king of the Franks, was baptized as a Catholic and thus began the very close relationship between the Franks/France and the Catholic church, strengthening the latter's state power. 1798 is the year that state power with removed by French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte. The 1335 days/years of Daniel 12:12 refers to the time period from 508 - 1843. The year 1843 was the year just before the Investigative Judgment of Daniel 8:14. Hence, the scripture says, "Blessed is he that waits, and comes to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days." AKJV - Daniel 12:12
