I loved the " never quit quitting", amen. I needed to hear that. Everything was easy to give up. God has detached me from wordly things the last 4 years. But my last issue is sugar. I keep praying. I am determined with Gods help to overcome that also.
I too have an issue with sugar. I’ve had so many people tell me it’s not the same as other addictions. Also, that they can’t see how I would have an addiction to it. For me refined sugar does the same inside my system as heroin does in others. About a month ago I prayed and asked God to remove this from me. I went off all sugar and kept praying. It’s only by the grace of God that I’ve been delivered! Praise the Lord! I no longer have the cravings and impulses I used to! Keep crying out to Him He will deliver you too! I now have reintroduced only whole sugars into my diet and consume them nominally. Prayers for you on this journey!
I’m praying for to overcome sugar in Holy Heavenly Name Jesus Christ. Amen.🙏🏼

Flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of Heaven 1st Corinthians 15:50.

1 Thessalonians 4:13 is the subject matter for that chapter not flying away in the air.
Verse 13 is very clear if you are a Christian then you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross and was three days in the Tomb and Rose in his spiritual body and you better believe that every person who's ever died has done the same (paraphrasing)
1st Peter 3:18 - 20 is very clear when Jesus was in the Tomb he went and taught to the Great Gulf (Luke 16:26)on the left side of the Gulf and taught in the prisons which he went all the way back to the days of Noah because he's a fair God and they were not living under grace they were living under the law !
Nobody's dead yet they're all in the Great Gulf in the sky explained in the parable of Lazarus in the rich man if you don't believe in The Parables is it states in Mark 4 versus 10 through 20 it is given to you to know the truth but the some it is not given!
I always taught for nine of my 12 years that the graves pop open in dirt cracks open and your flesh body meets Jesus why would the flesh body meet Jesus when it goes back to the dust the spiritual body is the real body is stated in Romans 8 all the way through Romans 11.
1st Corinthians 15:51 and 52 is very clear at the last trumpet we shall all be changed into our spiritual bodies when the Thousand Year Millennium starts... there are two types of dead in Revelation 20 there is the flesh dead and there's the spiritually dead and the people that don't know the truth of God's word are going to be spiritually dead for the Thousand Year Millennium as Jesus Christ elect will be teachers and Priests with God and Christ as it states in Revelation 26 teaching all those that have been missed taught or didn't know the true word of God.
Yet I called The Seventh-Day Adventist conference to buy a Bible a KJV Bible and the ladies trying to convince me that people are asleep till the second coming The Dead Know Nothing.... the Dead the flesh know nothing....?
I listen to one of your RUclips videos on 1st Thessalonians 4:16 and 17 will you say that you meet the Lord in the air and in the clouds are is word number 109 in the Greek it means Breath of Life or spiritual body it's not atmosphere nobody flies in the air clouds aren't clouds in the are their clouds that Paul uses in Hebrews 12:1 a group of Christians gathered together please.. correct these teachings as nobody flies in the air Satan's message when he comes at the sixth trumpet in Revelation chapter 6 verse 2 is going to be I'm going to fly you out here when God condemns the Rapture and Ezekiel 13 versus 18 through 20 in the KJV Bible hates it when fake teachers hunt souls to make people fly in the fake Rapture Theory.
But you read of Ezekiel 13 verses 18 through 20 in the new King James version or in the NIV and it doesn't even talk of hunting souls to make people fly it talks of birds flying in charms which is why I wrote Into You several years ago and asked you why you use the new King James Version Bible because Satan's kenites have gotten in and changed the Bibles the KJV with a strong concordance with the Hebrew and the Greek manuscripts are the way to get the deeper Bible teaching please teach your flock the truth God bless you

This is the most wonderful truth that I share with my friends and others who ask me about God. It really makes an impact on them when they realize that God does not torture people forever in hell. This was one the most amazing things that I learned when I joined the SDA church 15 years ago. I am so glad God lead me out of the Sunday church. I have learned so much. I am so blessed. Now my Dad is coming to the same church with me, he too now is being blessed. It is amazing, as is my sister. It is wonderful. 30:25. The story of the rich man and Lazarus.
32:05. Pastor Doug. This parable unlike other parables is oddly specific. It has names like Lazarus, Abraham and even mentions Moses and the prophets. The state the rich man is in cannot be brushed away. The rich man is very much conscious, alive and in torments (he's on fire, and he is eternally thirsty) he begs for water to cool his tongue and complains about the flames. He doesn't even want his family to end up where he is. We also learn in this story that there's a fixed gulf separating people in hell and people that are not in hell. Either side cannot cross that fixed gulf.
Jesus is telling us something about this story and we should heed its warning.
The story of the rich man and Lazarus in Luke 16 is a parable. Also, it speaks of Hades, the grave, not of hell. If you take Luke 16 literally, you would have to conclude that the dead have a body in Hades since the rich man had a tongue on which he desired a tiny bit of water. How do the dead have bodies before the resurrection?
Also, if you take it literally, you have to wonder why the rich man only requires a finger's worth of water? He is in torment and anguish and the best he can ask for is a finger's worth of water?
Also, if you take it literally, you have to conclude that for the last few thousand years righteous people have been in Hades from where they can see and listen to their loved ones who are being tormented across the chasm. That sounds like a horrible place to be... is God some king of sadistic maniac to expose His beloved children to such horrifying sights?
This story is a parable that is meant to teach people that being a descendant of Abraham by blood does not assure anyone of salvation and that gentiles can be saved. Lazarus eating what fell from the rich man's table and being licked by dogs is a direct reference to Matthew 16:21-28 where the gentile woman is referred to as a dog who eats the crumbs that fall from the table of the Jews.
If the dead have so many experiences after they die, how come that there isn't a single time when a resurrected person comes back to life and starts telling everyone about all the things they experienced there? So many people have been resurrected throughout the Bible and not a signle time do we get even as much a hint that they might have a story to tell about this place where they hung out with Abraham while they were dead. The Bible is very clear that the dead are asleep in the grave until Jesus returns.
John 14:2-3 says that Jesus will take us with Him to heaven when He returns at the second coming. Why would He say that if we were already in heaven?
John 5:28-29 tells us that people will be in the tombs when Jesus returns and they will come out of the tombs to be joined with Him.
Acts 2:29-34 tells us that David is still buried in His tomb and that David did not ascend to heaven.

29 “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’
30 “‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’
31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead
@@iwishpeoplecaredagain Yes, the punishment is eternal. They will be no more forever. The Bible is very clear about this. Sodom and Gomorrah also suffered the eternal fire and were turned to ashes and made extinct and they serve as an example of what will happen to the ungodly (Jude , 2 Peter 2:6).
I explained above why the story of Lazarus in Luke 16 cannot be taken literally. Your personal opiniated claim that the story is literal does not deny the very specific claims and examples I provided to show why this story is not literal. This is besides consulting the rest of the Scriptures which clearly say that the dead are asleep in the tombs and that the unrighteous will be destroyed. Your argument needs to be better than "it's literal because I said so".
@@iwishpeoplecaredagain That's not KJV. Sounds like an indoctrinated translation. Jesus always spoke to the general public in parables (Matt 13:34). Consider the parable of the sheep and goats, really sheep and goats? Or the seed thrown by the wayside, real seed? or God's word? What about eating His flesh and drinking His blood to gain eternal life? You know the story of Dracula, right?
Parables and metaphors which, if taken literally, are not in accord with what the rest of the bible teaches on the subject. It's one of the ways you can tell He is speaking metaphorically and not literally.

My question is Moses has died Jesus took him, he in heaven with Jesus. But Lazarus after he raised where did go? And many others during Jesus resurrection?
We must read God’s Word for ourselves. We cannot apply our own reasoning to His Word to make it more palpable. “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”

Revelation 20:6 Those who weren't caught up will be Priest for the thousand years reign, the devil will be chained up.

How can you understand genuine prophecy as a church, if you haven't identified the modern day descendants of the tribes of Israel, and God's promises to them? What are those promises?
The descendants of Israel are the children of the promise by faith… that is all people who belong to God through Christ… Jews and gentiles alike. The Bible is very clear that Israel, the children of God, isn’t based on blood, but on faith.
God's people are Christians now. If you belong to Christ you are considered to be of the seed of Abraham and heirs according to the promise. Race or bloodlines are no longer a standard for salvation. Anywhere the prophecies speak of Israel in the last days it is "spiritual" Israel not physical of the flesh. Most prophecies are symbolic in nature you know.
Jesus spoke about hell. How does what you say translate from this...Jesus doesn't only reference hell, he describes it in great detail. He says it is a place of eternal torment (Luke 16:23), of unquenchable fire (Mark 9:43), where the worm does not die (Mark 9:48), where people will gnash their teeth in anguish and regret (Matt.May 11, 2017

He definitely describes the burning and turning to ashes in great detail in the scriptures. Obadiah 1:16, Malachi 4:1-3, Tyrus being typified of the world (Ezekiel 27:36, chapter 28:18-19 typified of Satan), psalm 145:20, among other teachings concerning death and hell. Even Jesus warned of a place where this fire would destroy the entire life of the wicked:
Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
The apostles warned of everlasting destruction that would come by fire (2 Thessalonians 1:8-10). It is only the righteous that can dwell in the presence of fire and not be burned. (Isaiah 33:14-17, see Daniel 3 also.) God bless

I watched this last night i absolutely believe the Hell is eternal fire for the evil ones. Jesus speaking about Lazarus and the rich man is not a parable its what really is happening till today even.

If I may? You're basing your theology on your belief of what happens after death. To understand Biblically this doctrine will help understand the doctrine of Hell. This is what really got me thinking. If you really believe that the rich man is burning in hell, then where is he'll today? If your response is the center of the earth, you are believing Greek Methodology. That's what they thought. So where is he'll today?
The Bible is very clear that hell is the destruction of the unrighteous. There is so much evidence for this.
That being said, one point alone completely dismantles the argument that hell is eternal conscious torment. If the wages of sin is eternal conscious torment, then Jesus never paid the price for us because He did not suffer eternal conscious torment… He died. The wages of sin is death.

I like Doug but not this. God is a father. Which father will allow you to knowingly sin in the house without discipline unless the father is wicked also. Followers brought in with soft sermons are bland.
Just because people are not tormented without end does not mean that God does not discipline His children. We are told that people will be repaid according to their works. Punishment *will* be given to the lost, but God is a God of perfect justice and will not make them suffer eternally as a result of a mere few years of sin.

I have studied the teachings of Many so-called Christian churches and the SDA church is more biblically accurate than all of them.

Well everyone may imagine hell in different ways but dont want to go there for a day or forever i want to please my heavenly father christ and the holy spirit
The problem is when a person believes that some part (soul, spirit, whatever) survives in a conscious state after death. Now demons can enter their lives claiming to be the souls of dead loved ones. The uninformed person would most likely believe whatever that demon told them....

The texts in II Cor 5 are explained in verse 6 "at home in the body" (comfortable in the desires of the flesh) and also I Cor 5:3; Col 2:5 where Paul is talking about being physically absent but with them in spirit (aka thoughts, desires, thinking about them, etc.)

@@san-wb6gm I gave scriptural texts. Not my opinion. It's what the bible says. Plenty of passages in scripture shows the dead are in a state of:
Perpetual sleep - Jer 51:57
Have no thoughts - Psa 146:4
Have no emotions - Ecc 9:5-6
Cannot praise God - Isa 33:18
King David has yet to ascend into heaven - Acts 2:29&34
Paul knew he would have to wait until Jesus comes to receive his crown - II Tim 4:7-8
This is not just my "opinion". It's what the bibles says in plain, simple words a child can understand. There are many more such scriptures in the bible.
Eternal life in heaven with Jesus doesn't start until AFTER the dead are raised when Jesus comes.
