You will learn more wisdoms and signs of the mighty God. By commenting your lecture about the water and rock, God said in the Quran 2:60 Children of Israel came to Moses and asked him to ask his God for Water. When Moses prayed God for water, God responded to Moses in a miracle way by telling him to strike his stick to a rock, and when he did 12 of springs came out because children of Israel were 12. God said to them drink and eat what I provided you and don’t mischief on the earth. All Muslims believe all prophets from Noah, the first Prophet of the earth after 10 generation of our father Adam, our mother Eva, Ibrahim, what was given to Moses(Torah), what was given to Jesus( Gospel), and what was given to Mohamed (Quran) by their lord. Muslim means total surrender and submission to God. Denying of the Messenger means denying all of them. I am Muslim, and I believe that Jesus peace be upon him, will come after the birth of anti christ and will lead the world. He did a lot of miracles like given life to dead people like forming a bird from clay and breathing his breath and become flying bird, his birth was miracle too, he had no father as our father, Adam has no father and mother.
I really liked Pastor Doug's "1st in importance" explanation of what the Bible says of Jesus being the "First Fruits" from the dead (many asked, what about Moses resurrection from the dead?), and I believe that's because Moses was NOT the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world (Moses only may have been a "type") & therefore Jesus, (Who carried the weight of our sins upon His shoulders) was the First Fruits from the penalty of the Hell that humanity (without Him) is subject to➡️ being separated from our Father- which is why Jesus cried out on the cross "My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me!?" 😓.. just cannot fully comprehend the depth of what occurred at the cross to set us free❣ (my words are inadequate to say the least)

@@chucksmith4624 The event seems to me to be very Real.. *See Luke 9:28-36.. is very clear that Jesus and Moses and Elijah were talking together (verses 30 & 31).. and Yes, God said to Listen to His Son, but that doesn't mean that Moses & Elijah were not there. Anyway, I believe that a special few are already in the "Heavenly Promised Land" & that these 2 (Elijah & Moses) are examples➡️ Elijah's translation (those alive at Jesus' return) or➡️ Moses (those resurrected from the dead at Jesus' return).. But we are to follow & Listen to God's Son- and the Gospel that we have heard from the beginning- no Bible Truth can be changed to mislead, therefore any other "appearance" pretending to be dead loved ones would be a deception to say the least. *See Galatians 1:8,9.

The Bible text which supports the resurrection of Moses is Jude 1:9. But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him an abusive judgment, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” [Why would there be any dispute over a dead body between Michael and Satan unless that body was being resurrected?]

What would be the point if Moses wasn't going to face judgment one way or the other for thousands of years and is in fact still dead and buried today? He may as well have argued with Christ over the founding of America at that time or some other distant and irrelevant subject. No man has ever ascended to Heaven of his own power. Yet we know Elijah and Enoch ascended by God's power without seeing death. Elijah and Moses appeared to Christ on the Mount of Transfiguration while the words of the Father were spoken - all witnessed by Peter, James and John. Clearly Moses and Elijah had ascended to Heaven long before. If Moses had not been resurrected, then his appearance in the gospels is a false record.
I've been questioning this. I came the conclusion that it looks like no man has ever been to heaven, not Elijah, Moses, nor Enoch. Jesus said no man has been to Heaven.

@@SteveInLava the King James is closet to the original manuscript. However, so many other versions translate with bias according to as they believe, not the truth. I always confer with the Hebrew and Greek to understand the truth of what the verse is actually saying. Unfortunately, many add words to texts that are not there, to make a text say what they want it to say, not what it actually is saying.

In that verse the word vision in the original Greek is ὅραμα "horama" hor'-am-ah that appears 12 times in the testament mean a spectacular sight, or event, visible. Acts 7:31 uses the same word when Moses saw the sea separation and the wasn't a dream or vision .. was a real stuff ὅραμα horama hor'-am-ah From G3708; something gazed at, that is, a spectacle (especially supernatural): - sight, vision.

If Christ is first fruits of them rose up from the dead, then the claim that Jesus resurrected Moses before his incarnation is contradictory. Does it really say in the book of Deuteronomy that his body was resurrected? Just because Moses appeared in the mount of transfiguration, that doesn't mean he came in his resurrected body. Even Enoch and Elijah (2 witnesses) will be sent back to earth and they will die and will be resurrected later.

Moses wasn't condemned- he was actually taken to a Much better place than the earthly promised land. And he died in God's arms to become a "type" for all of us who will die awaiting the promise of our resurrection in Christ Jesus. How comforting❣
Utterly FALSE. Moses was NOT resurrected nor did he go to heaven. John 3:13 says “no man has ascended into heaven but the one who descended from heaven, the Son of Man.” Combined with John 1:18 which says, “No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten God [Jesus] who is at the Father’s side is the one who has explained Him.” It’s clear nobody was resurrected into glory before Jesus Christ who is himself called, “the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep in death.” In 1 Corinthians 15:20. Of Moses resurrected and when to heaven over 1,000 years before Christ then Jesus cannot be called the Firstfruits of those who’ve fallen asleep. Everyone who came back to life before Jesus (Lazarus, Widow’s Son in Elijah’s time) eventually died again.

Muslims with a passion, object that Christians made an image of Jesus and are called “idol worshiper”and “unbelievers”, yet they bow down to a rock. Case closed! While evangelicals like to call Catholics “icon” worshipers, they take from the same play book and then use Exodus 20:4 as their proof: “you shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below”, arguing that there should be no images of Christ, no icons, no images of angels, nothing of Mary, the Saints, nothing! If Christ is God, did He not have an image? Prior to Christ incarnation, He was a faceless Spirit…He had no human face! But, after His arrival we now know what God looked like. Prior to that, to make any image of God was blasphemous and was considered idolatry. If we are to look at the letter of the law, then Moses sinned by making an image of two cherubim to place on the Ark but we know that he didn’t sin! The key to identifying a cult, and then identify what is truth is to always go back to what the early church believed. It was Christ that shattered this idea when He went beyond what the Jews interpreted in the above text…John 14:9; “whoever has seen me has seen the father”, and then Paul said that Christ “is the image of the invisible God” in Colossians 1:15 “ If anyone insist that we adore images, then every Christian is guilty for adorning movies such as “the passion of the Christ”, no less than two men Sharing a brotherly kiss being identified as homosexual What most people do not know is that Protestantism never prohibited icons! I was a Catholic for many years (since I was born) We had to stand in line to BOW down before the statues in the Catholic church. They were statues of Mary, Joseph, St. Anthony and others. Those were IDOLS! The commandments specifically said, Thou shalt NOT bow down before them. I had to call the priests "Father" in the Catholic church. The Bible said, CALL NO MAN ON EARTH, FATHER. My Father is in heaven. Pastor Doug does not have me believe that, I lived it in the Catholic church! Read the Bible for yourself. I can’t convince you of what is truth and what is false but it you were to look for yourself what the apostles taught, how the early church fathers believed and worshipped, you will find how far Protestants are from what they understand to be “truth”. This idea of calling a priest Father has also been taken out of context but it is something you will have to dig around for yourself instead of every nick picking ppl use against the Catholic Church. Jesus argued His case and won for the body of Moses, but it never says why He wanted the Body and it never says it was to take up to Heaven. In none of the Gospels does it say that Jesus said Elijah or Moses are in Heaven. Those are assumptions made by man based off of words man wrote. What Jesus does say in the Gospels is recorded in John 3:13. We do not know where Moses and Elijah came from but we know for a fact, based off of Christs own words, it was not Heaven. Same false belief surrounds Enoch. Leading to a horrible book called the book of Enoch. Once again, because man wrote “And Enoch was not, for the Lord took him”, everyone once again assumes that means the Lord took him to Heaven. Neither the Bible, The Lord, nor Jesus, ever say that. Based off the Bible and the Bible alone, the only safe assumption is that Moses and Elijah where called forth or sent forth from the Bosom of Abraham to be with Jesus on that occasion. Maybe Christ said that because He knew what men were writing. Abrahams bosom is mentioned only once in the New Testament, in a Parable of the rich man and Lazarus. Luke 16:22. Was a real place being used in the Parable? Was a fictitious place being used in the Parable? I do not know. What I do know is that after the absences of Enoch, Moses, then Elijah, Christ said no man has entered into Heaven.

Hi Doug Batchelor, I am Muslim who watched your video about the messenger of mighty God, Moses peace be upon him, and children of Israel 2:47 -74.
You will learn more wisdoms and signs of the mighty God.
By commenting your lecture about the water and rock, God said in the Quran 2:60 Children of Israel came to Moses and asked him to ask his God for Water. When Moses prayed God for water, God responded to Moses in a miracle way by telling him to strike his stick to a rock, and when he did 12 of springs came out because children of Israel were 12. God said to them drink and eat what I provided you and don’t mischief on the earth.
All Muslims believe all prophets from Noah, the first Prophet of the earth after 10 generation of our father Adam, our mother Eva, Ibrahim, what was given to Moses(Torah), what was given to Jesus( Gospel), and what was given to Mohamed (Quran) by their lord. Muslim means total surrender and submission to God. Denying of the Messenger means denying all of them.
I am Muslim, and I believe that Jesus peace be upon him, will come after the birth of anti christ and will lead the world.
He did a lot of miracles like given life to dead people like forming a bird from clay and breathing his breath and become flying bird, his birth was miracle too, he had no father as our father, Adam has no father and mother.
I really liked Pastor Doug's "1st in importance" explanation of what the Bible says of Jesus being the "First Fruits" from the dead (many asked, what about Moses resurrection from the dead?), and I believe that's because Moses was NOT the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world (Moses only may have been a "type") & therefore Jesus, (Who carried the weight of our sins upon His shoulders) was the First Fruits from the penalty of the Hell that humanity (without Him) is subject to➡️ being separated from our Father- which is why Jesus cried out on the cross "My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me!?" 😓.. just cannot fully comprehend the depth of what occurred at the cross to set us free❣ (my words are inadequate to say the least)

Yes, the Bible teaches this.. remember Moses (representing the Law) & Elijah (the prophet) appeared at the "mount of transfiguration." Matt. 17:2

*See Luke 9:28-36.. is very clear that Jesus and Moses and Elijah were talking together (verses 30 & 31).. and Yes, God said to Listen to His Son, but that doesn't mean that Moses & Elijah were not there. Anyway, I believe that a special few are already in the "Heavenly Promised Land" & that these 2 (Elijah & Moses) are examples➡️ Elijah's translation (those alive at Jesus' return) or➡️ Moses (those resurrected from the dead at Jesus' return).. But we are to follow & Listen to God's Son- and the Gospel that we have heard from the beginning- no Bible Truth can be changed to mislead, therefore any other "appearance" pretending to be dead loved ones would be a deception to say the least. *See Galatians 1:8,9.

What would be the point if Moses wasn't going to face judgment one way or the other for thousands of years and is in fact still dead and buried today? Elijah and Moses appeared to Christ on the Mount of Transfiguration while the words of the Father were spoken - all witnessed by Peter, James and John. Clearly Moses and Elijah had ascended to Heaven long before. If Moses had not been resurrected, then his appearance in the gospels is a false record.

Pr. Doug, I have a question. What is the value of an infallible Bible without an infallible interpreter? I am not trying to be sacrilegious, I promise. And yes, I believe the Bible is divine truth but who's interpretation of the Holy Scriptures is correct?
The Bible is its own interpreter; the reader has to put the puzzle pieces together to get the 100% correct interpretation of the Bible.

I always confer with the Hebrew and Greek to understand the truth of what the verse is actually saying. Unfortunately, many add words to texts that are not there, to make a text say what they want it to say, not what it actually is saying.

In that verse the word vision in the original Greek is ὅραμα "horama" hor'-am-ah that appears 12 times in the testament mean a spectacular sight, or event, visible.
Acts 7:31 uses the same word when Moses saw the sea separation and the wasn't a dream or vision .. was a real stuff

I have been praying for God to take this because it feels so overwhelming andd because of how I am feeling i have been straying and praying less just in bed, i have two toddlers and dont do anything with them because i am too weak, my husband has been doing everything, I cannot understand why I got pregnant now.. i feel so horrible.. but thank you

If Christ is first fruits of them rose up from the dead, then the claim that Jesus resurrected Moses before his incarnation is contradictory. Does it really say in the book of Deuteronomy that his body was resurrected? Just because Moses appeared in the mount of transfiguration, that doesn't mean he came in his resurrected body. Even Enoch and Elijah (2 witnesses) will be sent back to earth and they will die and will be resurrected later.

Moses wasn't condemned- he was actually taken to a Much better place than the earthly promised land. And he died in God's arms to become a "type" for all of us who will die awaiting the promise of our resurrection in Christ Jesus. How comforting❣

Utterly FALSE. Moses was NOT resurrected nor did he go to heaven. John 3:13 says “no man has ascended into heaven but the one who descended from heaven, the Son of Man.”
Combined with John 1:18 which says, “No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten God [Jesus] who is at the Father’s side is the one who has explained Him.” It’s clear nobody was resurrected into glory before Jesus Christ who is himself called, “the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep in death.” In 1 Corinthians 15:20. Of Moses resurrected and when to heaven over 1,000 years before Christ then Jesus cannot be called the Firstfruits of those who’ve fallen asleep. Everyone who came back to life before Jesus (Lazarus, Widow’s Son in Elijah’s time) eventually died again.

While evangelicals like to call Catholics “icon” worshipers, they take from the same play book and then use Exodus 20:4 as their proof: “you shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below”, arguing that there should be no images of Christ, no icons, no images of angels, nothing of Mary, the Saints, nothing!

I was a Catholic for many years (since I was born) We had to stand in line to BOW down before the statues in the Catholic church. They were statues of Mary, Joseph, St. Anthony and others. Those were IDOLS! The commandments specifically said, Thou shalt NOT bow down before them. I had to call the priests "Father" in the Catholic church. The Bible said, CALL NO MAN ON EARTH, FATHER. My Father is in heaven. Pastor Doug does not have me believe that, I lived it in the Catholic church! Read the Bible for yourself. I can’t convince you of what is truth and what is false but it you were to look for yourself what the apostles taught, how the early church fathers believed and worshipped, you will find how far Protestants are from what they understand to be “truth”.
This idea of calling a priest Father has also been taken out of context but it is something you will have to dig around for yourself instead of every nick picking ppl use against the Catholic Church. Bottom line, the apostolic succession Churches; Catholic and orthodox are the true faith and any others are man-made religions with their own versions of “truth”. Jeff
Jesus argued His case and won for the body of Moses, but it never says why He wanted the Body and it never says it was to take up to Heaven. In none of the Gospels does it say that Jesus said Elijah or Moses are in Heaven. Those are assumptions made by man based off of words man wrote. What Jesus does say in the Gospels is recorded in John 3:13. We do not know where Moses and Elijah came from but we know for a fact, based off of Christs own words, it was not Heaven. Same false belief surrounds Enoch. Leading to a horrible book called the book of Enoch. Once again, because man wrote “And Enoch was not, for the Lord took him”, everyone once again assumes that means the Lord took him to Heaven. Neither the Bible, The Lord, nor Jesus, ever say that. Based off the Bible and the Bible alone, the only safe assumption is that Moses and Elijah where called forth or sent forth from the Bosom of Abraham to be with Jesus on that occasion. Once again, that is still not Heaven. Thank you for hearing my opinion based of the evidence in the Bible.

@@willemlouis1007 John 3:13, Christ said no man has entered into Heaven. I start with believing what Christ said regardless of what man wrote. Maybe Christ said that because He knew what men were writing. Abrahams bosom is mentioned only once in the New Testament, in a Parable of the rich man and Lazarus. Luke 16:22. Was a real place being used in the Parable? Was a fictitious place being used in the Parable? I do not know.
What I do know is that after the absences of Enoch, Moses, then Elijah, Christ said no man has entered into Heaven.

I know the word Heaven was used in the Old Testament regarding Elijah. That was the word chosen by man. I will continue to stand on the words of our Lord and Savior alone.
