I don't not have any knowledge or read any info abort this matter, but the only thing that I could tell her, was that my God did not make any mistake when He designed mankind. I commented before but I was watching this again and I heard you say pastor Doug that PERHAPS Lot saw something extra special in the two men so he treated them well. You alluded to their safety as well bring a reason. I think that's exactly what Lot was thinking to invite them in and to urge them to be in the protection of his house. Because he knew they would probably be violated he really went out of his way to get them out of harms way. And when the people were blinded by the angels, I think that has meaning too. I'm not sure WHAT but perhaps it alluded to those who do to usually do evil, they will be given strong delusion (i.e. blindness) and they remain in darkness. Well, that's my thought anyway. Pastor Doug, I agree that the mere thought of Lot offering his daughters in exchange for the safety of his two guests is un fathomable. Although the Holy Scriptures does not mention whether Lot recognized the two men as “Angels” but I honestly think Lot did. Being that he was the nephew of Abraham and the fact that God calls him “righteous” I don’t think that He would have held that back from Lot. Now, I say this with fear and trembling and I ask The Lord to forgive me if I err but “For God so loved the world that He “gave” His only begotten Son” so would I be wrong in saying that Lot’s love was greater because he was willing to offer not one but two daughters in exchange for 2 total strangers that he met just a few hours before? So you see, I believe that Lot was willing to “offer” his daughters just because they were “messengers of God” in the same way that Abraham did not hold back Isaac from The Lord. It’s just beyond comprehension that a “father” would even consider an offer such as that. I think Lot recognized them as Messengers from Heaven.
According to the Spirit of Prophecy, Lot was pronounced to be righteous because even though he lived in a city full of debauchery, he did not participate in the perversion. I think of God's true followers in places like New York and San Francisco. They live in the very midst of evil, but rise above the stench of the sins of those cities. BTW, I thank the Lord for men like Pastor Doug who are willing to turn aside from worldliness and study Scripture to share truth with those who hunger for spiritual food in the midst of spiritual famine.

Hey there! You forgot THIS ONE, which came BEFORE v50 in Ezekiel 49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
God was going to send judgment upon Sodom and Gomorrah (S&G) but Abraham bargained with God that if 10 righteous folks were found in S&G, then God would not destroy the cities. So, according to what is written, God sent his angels, not to save Lot, but to see if 10 righteous were there, and if so, God would not destroy the cities. Genesis 18: 32 And he (ABRAHAM) said, Oh let not the Lord (GOD) be angry, and I (ABRAHAM) will speak yet but this once: Peradventure TEN SHALL BE FOUND THERE. And he (GOD) said, I (GOD) will not destroy it (the cities) for ten's sake. 33 And the Lord (GOD) went his way, as soon as he (GOD) had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place. So, the bargain was that the cities would be spared if 10 righteous folks were found there, i.e., even though the cities were inhospitable, the cities would still be spared if 10 righteous folks were there. That means that inhospitality was not why God destroyed the cities - the cities would have not been destroyed, although inhospitable, IF 10 RIGHTEOUS FOLKS COULD BE FOUND THERE. So, the angels did not go down to S&G to save Lot, but instead, they went there SPECIFICALLY to find at least 10 righteous folks. How do we know this to be true? Genesis 19:2 And he (LOT) said, Behold now, my lords (THE ANGELS), turn in, I pray you, into your servant's (LOT'S) house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they (THE ANGELS) said, Nay; but we (THE ANGELS) will abide in the street all night. In other words, the angels were there to find 10 righteous folks, that was their mission from GOD, not to stay with Lot all night. Ten righteous folks and the cities were to be spared, less than 10 righteous folks and the cities were to be destroyed. That let's the reader know that it was not the inhospitality of the cities that caused the destruction of the cities, but something else. What was the something else? Genesis 19: 4 But before they lay (THE ANGELS) down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: 5 And they (THE MEN OF THE CITY) called unto Lot, and said unto him (LOT), Where are the men (THE ANGELS) which came in to thee (LOT) this night? bring them (THE ANGELS) out unto us (THE MEN OF THE CITY), THAT WE (THE MEN OF THE CITY) MAY KNOW THEM (THE ANGELS). 6 And Lot went out at the door unto them (THE MEN OF THE CITY), and shut the door after him, 7 And said, I pray you, BRETHREN (MEN OF THE CITY), DO NOT SO WICKEDLY. Notice, the angels never had a chance to check to see if 10 righteous folks abided in the cities. All of the men of the city were there at Lot's house, but there is no indication that any women were present. In other words, there could have been at least 10 righteous women in S&G which would have led to the cities not being destroyed. However, we never got to find this out because "the cry of them (THE MEN OF THE CITY) is waxen great BEFORE the face of the LORD; and the LORD HATH SENT US TO DESTROY IT." In summary, the bargain was for at least 10 righteous folks, it does not say whether or not the 10 be all male, all female, or a mixture of the two sexes. This is not specified. From the reading, just 10 righteous folks were necessary for the cities not to be destroyed. Yes, inhospitality, and a few other things, brought the LORD'S attention to the city. But the LORD was willing to spare the city, although inhospitable, if at least 10 righteous folks resided there. We find that the angels never got the opportunity to look for 10 righteous folks because of the wicked SEXUAL behavior of the men of the city. Thus, "the cry of them (THE MEN OF THE CITY) is waxen great BEFORE the face of the LORD; and the LORD HATH SENT US TO DESTROY IT." That is the BUT FOR or the THE ACTUAL CAUSE or THE REASON WHY the decision was made to destroy S&G. I watch and listen to videos on my phone. Unless the room is perfectly quiet with very little outdoor noise and I put the phone near me, Doug batchelor videos can barely be heard. He speaks very quietly he never really preaches. The content is usually great but I usually fall asleep or move on to something else. Whoever record and post these videos just don't get it. What a waste
Well, I thought the same for a while but I found out that in my phone ONLY they sounded low, so I downloaded a volume booster for my phone which helps a lot. I also bought earphones which have their own volume, this also helps a lot.

New School Tennis Association NSTA Pastor Batchelor has never had that style. When he preaches on a Sabbath, he teaches instead of preaching. That’s actually something that I appreciate about him. It is a welcome change. I love Pastor C.D. Brooks but I also appreciate the more cerebral approach. Less emotion is sometimes more potent. More emotion is sometimes quite potent, but God uses both to convey His message to mankind. Praise God for this.

I feel that you can be born gay. What I mean is this, you can be born with more female hormones or more male hormones. We were born into sin and since the time of Adam, we as a human race that God created in THEIR IMAGE AND LIKENESS...BEAUTIFUL, before sin. It is man's misunderstanding of the Scriptures that points Sodom to homosexuality. Still saved??? 4. "Bread of the PRESENCE" Along with the Passover, GOD "forever" liturgically commands the "Bread of the PRESENCE" to be part of proper worship of Him in Leviticus 24:5-9. In the old Jewish Temple, the old "Heaven and Earth" of worship, a veil seperated two main worship rooms. In the outer room was the "Bread of the PRESENCE". A veil separated it from the inner room that was called the HOLY of HOLIES, where no one could enter but the High Priest once a year. This inner room the HOLY of HOLIES is where Jews believed God's "real presence" remained. So, when Jesus Christ died the veil was reported to have been "torn" (Matthew 27:51, Mark 15:38, Luke 23:45). Thus, liturgically speaking there no longer remains any barrier between GOD'S presence and the "Bread of the PRESENCE" (Matthew 28:20). So, if the veil was "torn" allowing GOD'S presence in the Holy of Holies to flow to the "BREAD of the PRESENCE" in the outer room of worship, then what does the Holy Eucharist or "Bread of the PRESENCE" truly become in the fulfilled NEW COVENANT FORM??? 5. "ONE BREAD ONE BODY" 1 Corinthians 10:16-17. If the "many" become "ONE BODY" through "participation in" the ONE SACRIFICE of the "Lamb of GOD" Jesus Christ in the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER, then how can the Holy Eucharist logically be a mere symbol as Protestants purport??? Truly, we can ONLY become ONE BODY (1 Corinthians 10:16-17, Ephesians 5:29-32), ONE FLOCK (John 10:16), ONE TEMPLE (1 Corinthians 3:17), ONE CHURCH (Ephesians 4:4-6), ONE BRIDE (2 Corinthians 11:2) through the "ONE" Jesus Christ (John 6:54-58) the "Lamb of God" (John 1:29, 1 Corinthians 5:7, 1 Peter 1:19) in the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER (Luke 22:19). 6. "EAT AND DRINK JUDGMENT UPON OURSELVES" 1 Corinthians 11:27-29. If "partaking unworthily" is "eating and drinking JUDGMENT upon ourselves", then once again how logically can the Holy Eucharist merely be a symbol as Protestants purport??? 7. Partaking of "Divinity" (John 6:55-56, 2 Peter 1:4, Catechism #460) is the only way to become a true Son or Daughter of GOD. In the Garden of Eden man was created in the "image" and "likeness" of GOD. Through Adam and Eve's disobedience it caused us to lose our "likeness" to GOD (original sin). For how can GOD's "likeness" and goodness ever mix with sin??? (John 3:6, Romans Chapter 5) Jesus Christ is the NEW ADAM OF OBEDIENCE. In God's beautiful salvation plan He takes a "do not partake" old Adam of disobedience and the removal of the "TREE OF LIFE" (Genesis 3:23), and completely transforms it into telling us to "partake" of the "TREE OF LIFE". Catholics actually receive His priest, prophet and King "divinity" in the Holy Eucharist, thereby obtaining our "likeness" back if we only partake "worthily" (1 Corinthians 11:27-29). We truly become "divine" Sons and Daughters of GOD by "uniting" with Jesus Christ the NEW ADAM (Romans 5:12-21). As a result, we become a part of GOD'S NEW CREATION (2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 6:15, Ephesians 1:10, Colossians 1:15-17, 20) here on earth. The "TREE OF LIFE" hangs above every Catholic Church altar. 8. "Thanksgiving" or Jewish Todah In this Jewish Messianic prophecy feast the "lamb" sacrifice had to occur at the same time the "bread and wine" was consecrated. Just as the Jews believed they were "participating in" the original timeless and eternal first PASSOVER when celebrating their old covenant "forever" GOD commanded Passover (Exodus 12:14), so do we Catholics believe we are "participating in" the ONE SACRIFICE of Jesus Christ during the consecration of the bread and wine (1 Corinthians 10:16-17) in the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER. The Greek "Eucharistia" or English meaning "Thanksgiving" Feast for what Jesus Christ has done for us is the source, summit, and ultimate high point of worship in the NEW COVENANT. 9. "Marriage Supper of the Lamb" (Revelation 19:9). Every CATHOLIC during the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER "Mass" enters the aisle and approaches the "Bridegroom" Jesus Christ the "Lamb of God" who hangs above every single Catholic altar. We see the "Bridegroom" who emptied Himself out of love for us on the cross - for His ONE and ONLY "BRIDE" - the ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH. It is hard to understand this level of violence and I cannot speak for anyone trying to grasp the Word of God. My personal opinion about (homosexuality) I will not give, but the truth. We all live out the truth in our lives every day, just as God lives in us and through, not just a figment, or our imagination. The word of God belongs us and sometimes neglected to be studying. It needs time to grow upon us, sometimes instantantly, and other times God reveals with time and careful study our error, and enlighten us. What I believe does not matter, and is not important, when God helps with the learning process, and a successful learning process is through experience, but what I see through God's eyes. We cannot cause anger or blame to become excited in LGBTQ brothers and sisters Christ when witnessing or in casual conversation. Their is a supernatural hatred or distaste at least that could be the cause. A natural inclination to ignore the Gospel. Actually, a more likely cause, we do love one another, and have become fanatics, blinded by our own theologies. There is no more weight to the power of love and principle, and principle has power without Love. In John Chapter 13, we see Jesus Christ fulfilling His Father’s Levi Covenant promise and Malachi 3:3 prophecy, when He sits down in the upper room “purifying” the NEW COVENANT PRIESTHOOD with a “washing”. This “washing” was a “forever” priestly liturgical GOD command in Exodus 30:21- in order to perform any altar work or sacrifice. What “same” power does the Son of GOD give to His ONE and ONLY established Church or “the Church” per Matthew 16:19, 18:18 and specifically explained to the NEW COVENANT PRIESTHOOD by Jesus in John 20:21-23??? Yes, Lot saved his family from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah by showing hospitality to angels who helped them escape; however, we are never saved by showing hospitality alone. Our salvation depends on a lot more than that. The SDA denomination has adopted many, many evangelical positions that have no foundation in truth and scripture, and this is but one of them: salvation by hospitality.This is akin to saying that everyone who is nice and has good intentions will be saved. Our denomination proclaims this a lot and it simply isn't true. Luke 12:47, 48 makes this very clear, and this is but one scripture out of many.
I don’t think Pastor talked about hospitality alone. He mentioned that inviting, accepting God into our homes brings salvation. Isn’t this according to the Gospel. We accept Christ who delivers us from sin and grants Salvation. I personally saw nothing wrong here.

Again, what you are speaking of here is basically an evangelical message, one that all of my non-SDA friends and most evangelicals believe and support; which is my point: you will not get any arguments from them accordingly. And therein is the problem. The truth SDA's are to be sharing is not a homogenized, let's not offend anyone, let's all join together gospel. Rather, it is the Gospel of Matthew 24:3-14. Pay very close attention to verse 14. It is THIS gospel, not the Gospel that is to be preached in conjunction with the three angel's messages of Revelation, "...and then shall the end come." Perhaps you are unaware that the January-March 2019 quarterly was written by a non-SDA, a rule rather than the exception with quarterlies, and that the "Oneness in Christ" doctrine contained in it originated with the Pentecostal's, and then was adopted by other denominations including our own; meant to foster religious unity. And this is but one example of apostasy. Even amongst ourselves there is NEVER to be the wrong kind of consensus and unity. It is amazing to me that so many SDA's lap up and swallow pretty much anything and anyone as long as it is spoon fed with an SDA label and endorsement. I've witnessed this as well. And woe be to those who dare to question, speak up about untruth and sugar coated, feel good Gospel messages saturating our churches/denomination. A real "Kill the messenger" mentality...and then act like it's theirs. Childish to say the least. I am far from alone. "A man's worst enemies shall be of his own house..." It is interesting to note that none of my non-SDA friends have a problem with my beliefs, which they know after asking me. While they do not at all agree with them, we remain the closest of friends, and from time to time they ask again. In fact their respect for me/my beliefs is so solid, they actually keep them in mind when we have plans to do anything together. Never heard is: "you're being negative, unkind, judgmental, hitting us over the head, unloving, it's the way you say it, etc." Never. Will this change in the future as events unfold, perhaps. However, I have not avoided sharing without compromise (which I think is what they really respect) when asked/the door opens, and rest easy knowing this. For now, the cop-out comments are solely and exclusively heard among our own. No surprise there. When members are fed a steady diet of watery evangelical milk and willingly drink it together, along with any pastor, they will not be able or willing to partake of anything stronger and more filling, much less talk about anything weighty. Furthermore, those who use the excuse of not offending and the wrong kind of love, along with being apologetic to avoid being attacked for speaking truth, weaken themselves spiritually. Make no mistake, satan will never persecute those who are his, including church members, church leaders etc. Which in my book explains why he's so happy with what I'm sharing here, and why there is no wide spread persecution of SDA's. 10. SDA's don't want you to understand there is a NEW COMMAND in the NEW COVENANT (John 13:34, 15:12, 15:17) of "GRACE" (Romans 6:14-15, Galatians 5:18).
What does LOVE do??? (Romans 13:8, 10, Galatians 5:14). Ever wonder why the Ten Commandments were written on "two" tablets of stone??? 1. LOVE of GOD fulfills the first three commandments 2. LOVE of NEIGHBOR fulfills the remaining seven commandments. LOVE FULFILLS THE LAW and elevates the old covenant laws to perfection and serve as a reminder of what will happen if we are unloving and "FALL FROM GRACE" (Hebrews 10:29).
11. SDA's want you to believe "breaking bread" is just another Jewish meal instead of the transformation of the old covenant "forever" GOD commanded Passover (Exodus 12:14) into the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER (Luke 22:19). How we must eat the "Lamb of GOD" for "death to truly Passover" (John 6:4, 54-58).
1 Corinthians 10:16-17. All Catholics "participate in" the ONE SACRIFICE of Jesus Christ the "Lamb of God" and in consuming His ONE BODY (John 6:55) in the "Marriage Supper of the Lamb" we truly "BECOME HIS ONE BODY", "the Church" a "Temple" holding the fulfilled forever liturgically commanded "Bread of the Presence" (Levicticus 24:5-9, Matthew 24:20):

I don't not have any knowledge or read any info abort this matter, but the only thing that I could tell her, was that my God did not make any mistake when He designed mankind. I commented before but I was watching this again and I heard you say pastor Doug that PERHAPS Lot saw something extra special in the two men so he treated them well. You alluded to their safety as well bring a reason. I think that's exactly what Lot was thinking to invite them in and to urge them to be in the protection of his house. Because he knew they would probably be violated he really went out of his way to get them out of harms way. And when the people were blinded by the angels, I think that has meaning too. I'm not sure WHAT but perhaps it alluded to those who do to usually do evil, they will be given strong delusion (i.e. blindness) and they remain in darkness. Well, that's my thought anyway. Pastor Doug, I agree that the mere thought of Lot offering his daughters in exchange for the safety of his two guests is un fathomable. Although the Holy Scriptures does not mention whether Lot recognized the two men as “Angels” but I honestly think Lot did. Being that he was the nephew of Abraham and the fact that God calls him “righteous” I don’t think that He would have held that back from Lot. Now, I say this with fear and trembling and I ask The Lord to forgive me if I err but “For God so loved the world that He “gave” His only begotten Son” so would I be wrong in saying that Lot’s love was greater because he was willing to offer not one but two daughters in exchange for 2 total strangers that he met just a few hours before? So you see, I believe that Lot was willing to “offer” his daughters just because they were “messengers of God” in the same way that Abraham did not hold back Isaac from The Lord. It’s just beyond comprehension that a “father” would even consider an offer such as that. I think Lot recognized them as Messengers from Heaven.
According to the Spirit of Prophecy, Lot was pronounced to be righteous because even though he lived in a city full of debauchery, he did not participate in the perversion. I think of God's true followers in places like New York and San Francisco. They live in the very midst of evil, but rise above the stench of the sins of those cities. BTW, I thank the Lord for men like Pastor Doug who are willing to turn aside from worldliness and study Scripture to share truth with those who hunger for spiritual food in the midst of spiritual famine.
@@Dr.Pepper001 does anyone know in which book Ellen white talks about what will happen to people that have been in slavery?? Someone told me she said that God will leave them as they are because the wickedness that happened to them their mind was so warped that he sees it better for them just to be as if they weren't born. Their sins would be put on their slave masters.

Genesis 18:20 & 19:13 tell us why it was done to both cities.

We are not to sin willfully, because we are born again and converted to a new life in Christ. If we sin unknowingly, God is good and forgiving of our sin. No one who has a cherished sin will ever enter into the kingdom of heaven to live among the holy angels and holy beings that exist there. Hey there! You forgot THIS ONE, which came BEFORE v50 in Ezekiel 49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
God was going to send judgment upon Sodom and Gomorrah (S&G) but Abraham bargained with God that if 10 righteous folks were found in S&G, then God would not destroy the cities. So, according to what is written, God sent his angels, not to save Lot, but to see if 10 righteous were there, and if so, God would not destroy the cities.
Genesis 18:
32 And he (ABRAHAM) said, Oh let not the Lord (GOD) be angry, and I (ABRAHAM) will speak yet but this once: Peradventure TEN SHALL BE FOUND THERE. And he (GOD) said, I (GOD) will not destroy it (the cities) for ten's sake.
33 And the Lord (GOD) went his way, as soon as he (GOD) had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.
So, the bargain was that the cities would be spared if 10 righteous folks were found there, i.e., even though the cities were inhospitable, the cities would still be spared if 10 righteous folks were there. That means that inhospitality was not why God destroyed the cities - the cities would have not been destroyed, although inhospitable, IF 10 RIGHTEOUS FOLKS COULD BE FOUND THERE.
So, the angels did not go down to S&G to save Lot, but instead, they went there SPECIFICALLY to find at least 10 righteous folks. How do we know this to be true?
Genesis 19:2 And he (LOT) said, Behold now, my lords (THE ANGELS), turn in, I pray you, into your servant's (LOT'S) house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they (THE ANGELS) said, Nay; but we (THE ANGELS) will abide in the street all night.
In other words, the angels were there to find 10 righteous folks, that was their mission from GOD, not to stay with Lot all night. Ten righteous folks and the cities were to be spared, less than 10 righteous folks and the cities were to be destroyed.
That let's the reader know that it was not the inhospitality of the cities that caused the destruction of the cities, but something else. What was the something else?
Genesis 19:
4 But before they lay (THE ANGELS) down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
5 And they (THE MEN OF THE CITY) called unto Lot, and said unto him (LOT), Where are the men (THE ANGELS) which came in to thee (LOT) this night? bring them (THE ANGELS) out unto us (THE MEN OF THE CITY), THAT WE (THE MEN OF THE CITY) MAY KNOW THEM (THE ANGELS).

What were THE MEN OF THE CITY going to do that was considered to be so WICKED? Was it gang r*pe?
Well, Lot offered his daughters to THE MEN OF THE CITY for their sexual pleasure. So, the wicked behavior that Lot was concerned about was not gang r*pe. It must have been the type of gang r*pe.
Genesis 19:
8 Behold now, I (LOT) have two daughters which have not known man; let me (LOT), I (LOT) pray you, bring them out unto you (THE MEN OF THE CITY), AND DO YE (MEN OF THE CITY) TO THEM (LOT'S DAUGHTERS) AS IS GOOD IN YOUR EYES: only unto these MEN (THE ANGELS) do nothing.
Lot understood that the men of the city wanted intimacy with men. Lot is a man. Why not offer himself? The men would have likely accepted that deal, too.
9 And they (THE MEN OF THE CITY) said ... now will we (THE MEN OF THE CITY) deal worse with thee (LOT), than with them (THE ANGELS). And they (THE MEN OF THE CITY) pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.
That verse informs the reader that Lot (a man) was also on their intimacy menu, but not Lot's daughters.
12 And the men (THE ANGELS) said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place:
13 For WE WILL DESTROY THIS PLACE, BECAUSE the cry of them (THE MEN OF THE CITY) is waxen great BEFORE the face of the LORD; and the LORD HATH SENT US TO DESTROY IT.
Notice, the angels never had a chance to check to see if 10 righteous folks abided in the cities. All of the men of the city were there at Lot's house, but there is no indication that any women were present. In other words, there could have been at least 10 righteous women in S&G which would have led to the cities not being destroyed. However, we never got to find this out because "the cry of them (THE MEN OF THE CITY) is waxen great BEFORE the face of the LORD; and the LORD HATH SENT US TO DESTROY IT."
In summary, the bargain was for at least 10 righteous folks, it does not say whether or not the 10 be all male, all female, or a mixture of the two sexes. This is not specified. From the reading, just 10 righteous folks were necessary for the cities not to be destroyed.
Yes, inhospitality, and a few other things, brought the LORD'S attention to the city. But the LORD was willing to spare the city, although inhospitable, if at least 10 righteous folks resided there.
We find that the angels never got the opportunity to look for 10 righteous folks because of the wicked SEXUAL behavior of the men of the city. Thus, "the cry of them (THE MEN OF THE CITY) is waxen great BEFORE the face of the LORD; and the LORD HATH SENT US TO DESTROY IT."
That is the BUT FOR or the THE ACTUAL CAUSE or THE REASON WHY the decision was made to destroy S&G.

I watch and listen to videos on my phone. Unless the room is perfectly quiet with very little outdoor noise and I put the phone near me, Doug batchelor videos can barely be heard. He speaks very quietly he never really preaches. The content is usually great but I usually fall asleep or move on to something else. Whoever record and post these videos just don't get it. What a waste
Well, I thought the same for a while but I found out that in my phone ONLY they sounded low, so I downloaded a volume booster for my phone which helps a lot. I also bought earphones which have their own volume, this also helps a lot.

New School Tennis Association NSTA Pastor Batchelor has never had that style. When he preaches on a Sabbath, he teaches instead of preaching. That’s actually something that I appreciate about him. It is a welcome change. I love Pastor C.D. Brooks but I also appreciate the more cerebral approach. Less emotion is sometimes more potent. More emotion is sometimes quite potent, but God uses both to convey His message to mankind. Praise God for this.

I feel that you can be born gay. What I mean is this, you can be born with more female hormones or more male hormones. We were born into sin and since the time of Adam, we as a human race that God created in THEIR IMAGE AND LIKENESS...BEAUTIFUL, before sin. It is man's misunderstanding of the Scriptures that points Sodom to homosexuality. There is a huge difference in homosexuality and what these people were doing, you must put the Scriptures into context. To answer the question, is homosexuality throughout nature? Yes, you can just open your eyes and there are homosexual partners all throughout nature, plants and animals alike, everywhere you look...God created this world, do not dismiss God's creation just because you do not understand it. In the "Our Father" prayer Jesus Christ states "give us THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD" that actually refers to the NEW COVENANT MANNA or Jesus Christ Himself as the "BREAD OF LIFE" (John 6:35, 48, 51).
Acts 2:46. The Catholic Church has been "breaking bread (of LIFE) daily" of the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER (Luke 22:19) before the Book of Acts was even written in the mid 60's AD, all along since Jesus Christ's death in 33AD, and to this very day fulfilling Malachi 1:11 prophecy all across the world "daily"!!!
3. "HOW HE WAS MADE KNOWN TO THEM in the Breaking Bread" (Luke 24:35)
In the Luke 24:13-35 "Road to Emmaus" scriptures, there is a clear "structure" of worship being referrenced - being the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER or better known as the Catholic Mass.
In Luke 24:27, there is an opening up of the old testament Sacred Scriptures (Readings). Then, a clear explanation of how Jesus Christ fulfilled all the old covenant prophecies and covenant promises (Homily). Then, we have a "participation in" (1 Corinthians 10:16-17) the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER "breaking of bread" where the "Lamb of GOD" Jesus Christ ultimately becomes "KNOWN" to us.
Protestants, what does Jesus Christ say to you refusing to "break bread" and "become KNOWN" to Him in His ONE and ONLY "Kingdom of GOD" here on earth - being the ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH - per Luke 7:21-23??? Still saved???
4. "Bread of the PRESENCE"
Along with the Passover, GOD "forever" liturgically commands the "Bread of the PRESENCE" to be part of proper worship of Him in Leviticus 24:5-9.
In the old Jewish Temple, the old "Heaven and Earth" of worship, a veil seperated two main worship rooms.
In the outer room was the "Bread of the PRESENCE". A veil separated it from the inner room that was called the HOLY of HOLIES, where no one could enter but the High Priest once a year. This inner room the HOLY of HOLIES is where Jews believed God's "real presence" remained.
So, when Jesus Christ died the veil was reported to have been "torn" (Matthew 27:51, Mark 15:38, Luke 23:45). Thus, liturgically speaking there no longer remains any barrier between GOD'S presence and the "Bread of the PRESENCE" (Matthew 28:20).
So, if the veil was "torn" allowing GOD'S presence in the Holy of Holies to flow to the "BREAD of the PRESENCE" in the outer room of worship, then what does the Holy Eucharist or "Bread of the PRESENCE" truly become in the fulfilled NEW COVENANT FORM???
5. "ONE BREAD ONE BODY"
1 Corinthians 10:16-17. If the "many" become "ONE BODY" through "participation in" the ONE SACRIFICE of the "Lamb of GOD" Jesus Christ in the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER, then how can the Holy Eucharist logically be a mere symbol as Protestants purport???
Truly, we can ONLY become ONE BODY (1 Corinthians 10:16-17, Ephesians 5:29-32), ONE FLOCK (John 10:16), ONE TEMPLE (1 Corinthians 3:17), ONE CHURCH (Ephesians 4:4-6), ONE BRIDE (2 Corinthians 11:2) through the "ONE" Jesus Christ (John 6:54-58) the "Lamb of God" (John 1:29, 1 Corinthians 5:7, 1 Peter 1:19) in the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER (Luke 22:19).
6. "EAT AND DRINK JUDGMENT UPON OURSELVES"
1 Corinthians 11:27-29. If "partaking unworthily" is "eating and drinking JUDGMENT upon ourselves", then once again how logically can the Holy Eucharist merely be a symbol as Protestants purport???
7. Partaking of "Divinity" (John 6:55-56, 2 Peter 1:4, Catechism #460) is the only way to become a true Son or Daughter of GOD.
In the Garden of Eden man was created in the "image" and "likeness" of GOD. Through Adam and Eve's disobedience it caused us to lose our "likeness" to GOD (original sin). For how can GOD's "likeness" and goodness ever mix with sin??? (John 3:6, Romans Chapter 5) Jesus Christ is the NEW ADAM OF OBEDIENCE.
In God's beautiful salvation plan He takes a "do not partake" old Adam of disobedience and the removal of the "TREE OF LIFE" (Genesis 3:23), and completely transforms it into telling us to "partake" of the "TREE OF LIFE".
Catholics actually receive His priest, prophet and King "divinity" in the Holy Eucharist, thereby obtaining our "likeness" back if we only partake "worthily" (1 Corinthians 11:27-29). We truly become "divine" Sons and Daughters of GOD by "uniting" with Jesus Christ the NEW ADAM (Romans 5:12-21). As a result, we become a part of GOD'S NEW CREATION (2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 6:15, Ephesians 1:10, Colossians 1:15-17, 20) here on earth.
The "TREE OF LIFE" hangs above every Catholic Church altar.
8. "Thanksgiving" or Jewish Todah
In this Jewish Messianic prophecy feast the "lamb" sacrifice had to occur at the same time the "bread and wine" was consecrated. Just as the Jews believed they were "participating in" the original timeless and eternal first PASSOVER when celebrating their old covenant "forever" GOD commanded Passover (Exodus 12:14), so do we Catholics believe we are "participating in" the ONE SACRIFICE of Jesus Christ during the consecration of the bread and wine (1 Corinthians 10:16-17) in the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER.
The Greek "Eucharistia" or English meaning "Thanksgiving" Feast for what Jesus Christ has done for us is the source, summit, and ultimate high point of worship in the NEW COVENANT.
9. "Marriage Supper of the Lamb" (Revelation 19:9).
Every CATHOLIC during the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER "Mass" enters the aisle and approaches the "Bridegroom" Jesus Christ the "Lamb of God" who hangs above every single Catholic altar. We see the "Bridegroom" who emptied Himself out of love for us on the cross - for His ONE and ONLY "BRIDE" - the ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH.
The "right and just" response of each and every Catholic is to give all of ourselves back to Him in the "Marriage Supper of the Lamb" NEW COVENANT PASSOVER.

It is hard to understand this level of violence and I cannot speak for anyone trying to grasp the Word of God. My personal opinion about (homosexuality) I will not give, but the truth. We all live out the truth in our lives every day, just as God lives in us and through, not just a figment, or our imagination. The word of God belongs us and sometimes neglected to be studying. It needs time to grow upon us, sometimes instantantly, and other times God reveals with time and careful study our error, and enlighten us. What I believe does not matter, and is not important, when God helps with the learning process, and a successful learning process is through experience, but what I see through God's eyes. We cannot cause anger or blame to become excited in LGBTQ brothers and sisters Christ when witnessing or in casual conversation. Their is a supernatural hatred or distaste at least that could be the cause. A natural inclination to ignore the Gospel. Actually, a more likely cause, we do love one another, and have become fanatics, blinded by our own theologies. There is no more weight to the power of love and principle, and principle has power without Love. The sin of (homosexuality) is not its own causation for an unlove for the truth, nor is it to describe said people of being fornicators, and unbelievers and Satanic. Many Christian misinterpret their Bible assuming the Word of God describes Soddom and Gomorrah as a fornicating nation, only; with an imperfect picture of how their nation and moral sensebilities fall apart.

We must examine the old covenant to fully understand the NEW COVENANT. In Leviticus 5:5-6 and Numbers 5:5-9 we understand what an old covenant Jew had to do to receive GOD's forgiveness. Additionally, GOD in the Books of Leviticus and Numbers any time personal “sin” is even mentioned you will read over and over again “THUS THE PRIEST SHALL MAKE ATONEMENT FOR A MAN’S SINS AND IT WILL BE FORGIVEN” (Lev 4:20, 4:26, 4:31,4:35, 5:6, 5:10, 5:13, 5:16, 5:18, 6:7, 7:7, 12:8, 14:18, 14:19, 14:20, 14:29, 14:31, 15:15, 15:30, 16:32, 16:33, 19:22 Num. 6:11,15:25, and 15:28). In the old covenant, GOD clearly uses ordained “men”, the Leviticus Priesthood, to administer His forgiveness.
Now, does GOD keep His WORD and covenant promises??? GOD promises to have a perpetual priesthood per His covenant in Numbers 25:12-13 and Malachi 2:4-7 and has WORDS of “forever” in Exodus 29:7-9, 40:15, and 1 Chronicles 23:13. Then, GOD promises to have a perpetual priesthood in Jeremiah 33:14-22 NEW COVENANT PROPHECY. And, in context of “gathering the nations” in Isaiah 66:18 GOD states in Isaiah 66:21 “some of them also I will take for priests”, meaning no longer based on Levi tribal lineage in the NEW COVENANT. In John Chapter 13, we see Jesus Christ fulfilling His Father’s Levi Covenant promise and Malachi 3:3 prophecy, when He sits down in the upper room “purifying” the NEW COVENANT PRIESTHOOD with a “washing”. This “washing” was a “forever” priestly liturgical GOD command in Exodus 30:21- in order to perform any altar work or sacrifice.
What “same” power does the Son of GOD give to His ONE and ONLY established Church or “the Church” per Matthew 16:19, 18:18 and specifically explained to the NEW COVENANT PRIESTHOOD by Jesus in John 20:21-23???
In 2 Corinthians 5:18-20 St. Paul describes what Jesus Christ did was He “GAVE US THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION” and concluded “SO WE ARE AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST”. An “ambassador” wields what kind of power as an “official representative” of Christ or more specifically explained in “the Church” as “persona Christi”???
Please come or return to your real home and be “reconciled” to “the Church” HIS ONE BODY (Ephesians 4:4-6). What did Jesus Christ create, pray for in John 17:21-23 and die for??? If you really LOVE Jesus Christ, then you will respond to His prayer and join the “ONENESS” that He created. The “Lamb of GOD” wants to unite with you in the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER (Luke 22:19) in His ONE and ONLY established Church, so we all can be “perfectly ONE”. May GOD richly bless you on your journey.

Yes, Lot saved his family from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah by showing hospitality to angels who helped them escape; however, we are never saved by showing hospitality alone. Our salvation depends on a lot more than that. The SDA denomination has adopted many, many evangelical positions that have no foundation in truth and scripture, and this is but one of them: salvation by hospitality.This is akin to saying that everyone who is nice and has good intentions will be saved. Our denomination proclaims this a lot and it simply isn't true. Luke 12:47, 48 makes this very clear, and this is but one scripture out of many.
I don’t think Pastor talked about hospitality alone. He mentioned that inviting, accepting God into our homes brings salvation. Isn’t this according to the Gospel. We accept Christ who delivers us from sin and grants Salvation. I personally saw nothing wrong here.

Again, what you are speaking of here is basically an evangelical message, one that all of my non-SDA friends and most evangelicals believe and support; which is my point: you will not get any arguments from them accordingly. And therein is the problem. The truth SDA's are to be sharing is not a homogenized, let's not offend anyone, let's all join together gospel. Rather, it is the Gospel of Matthew 24:3-14. Pay very close attention to verse 14. It is THIS gospel, not the Gospel that is to be preached in conjunction with the three angel's messages of Revelation, "...and then shall the end come." Perhaps you are unaware that the January-March 2019 quarterly was written by a non-SDA, a rule rather than the exception with quarterlies, and that the "Oneness in Christ" doctrine contained in it originated with the Pentecostal's, and then was adopted by other denominations including our own; meant to foster religious unity. And this is but one example of apostasy. Even amongst ourselves there is NEVER to be the wrong kind of consensus and unity. It is amazing to me that so many SDA's lap up and swallow pretty much anything and anyone as long as it is spoon fed with an SDA label and endorsement. I've witnessed this as well. And woe be to those who dare to question, speak up about untruth and sugar coated, feel good Gospel messages saturating our churches/denomination. A real "Kill the messenger" mentality...and then act like it's theirs. Childish to say the least. I am far from alone. "A man's worst enemies shall be of his own house..." It is interesting to note that none of my non-SDA friends have a problem with my beliefs, which they know after asking me. While they do not at all agree with them, we remain the closest of friends, and from time to time they ask again. In fact their respect for me/my beliefs is so solid, they actually keep them in mind when we have plans to do anything together. Never heard is: "you're being negative, unkind, judgmental, hitting us over the head, unloving, it's the way you say it, etc." Never. Will this change in the future as events unfold, perhaps. However, I have not avoided sharing without compromise (which I think is what they really respect) when asked/the door opens, and rest easy knowing this. For now, the cop-out comments are solely and exclusively heard among our own. No surprise there. When members are fed a steady diet of watery evangelical milk and willingly drink it together, along with any pastor, they will not be able or willing to partake of anything stronger and more filling, much less talk about anything weighty. Furthermore, those who use the excuse of not offending and the wrong kind of love, along with being apologetic to avoid being attacked for speaking truth, weaken themselves spiritually. Make no mistake, satan will never persecute those who are his, including church members, church leaders etc. Which in my book explains why he's so happy with what I'm sharing here, and why there is no wide spread persecution of SDA's. The majority give him no reason. Oh, and by the way, those who use the "hitting over the head" excuse: I believe this is called our conscience...

The entire book of Galatians is Paul's defense of the gospel of grace. You must not understand that we have still our old nature. The Christian has 2 natures. One is reborn and one is still flesh. Galatians 5:17 - 'For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.' You might also read all of Romans chapter 7 as you find Paul wrestling against his fleshly ways. Romans chapter 3 through 4 are all about justification by faith, too.
Galatians 2:16 - 'Knowing that a man is NOT JUSTIFIED by the WORKS of the law, but by the FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: FOR BY THE WORKS OF THE LAW (works based salvation) SHALL NO FLESH BE JUSTIFIED.'
Isaiah 64:6 - 'But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses (works) are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.' We are all no good and we all fall short of the glory of God. No one is any better than anyone else. Your faith needs to be in Christ and not in yourself. That is spitting in the face of the One who paid it all for us! Jesus paid it all and God is no respecter of persons.
It is all about what Christ did for us and not what we do for Him.
