always luv listening to your teaching...at count 6:50ish you touch on something that has always been something that makes me go hmmm...in the Lord's prayer when it says "lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil" ESPECIALLY now with apparently "left out" of the Bible books supposedly being found in and under the Vatican and rumors that things were indeed left out or changed in the Holy Bible and since we know how the catholic church did indeed "think to change times and laws" and admit to changing the Sabbath from the last day of the week to the first. how do we know that the Lord's prayer wasn't changed or tweeked? It has always seemed to me it should say (and maybe did in the beginning) "lead us from temptation and deliver us from evil"!!!..........Happy Sabbath !

Thank you Pastor Batchelor for sharing the word of God As a young person falling out from the teachings i was bought up with as a Seventh Day Adventist coming across this particular sermon and particularly today the opening sabbath is Gods love for me reminding me that I am my biggest enemy and that i cannot and should not blame others or the devil for following the teachings of the circular world. I finally realized that every single teachings out there just talks about loving yourself, choosing yourself and your happiness, looking after yourself and grooming yourself. Every teaching is centered around the 'self' theory that we have forgotten and abondoned the most important of all..God the Father and the creator who should be magnified. Blessed be his name and blessed Sabbath to all❤
So true. I have brought so much pain to the heart of God. Jesus must've cried so much over me because of the shame i've caused the Father. Oh Jesus help me! I throw myself on your mercy . Here i am, a train wreck , it's all i am. I beceech Thee, Lord. Will you take me , and mold me after Thy will before it's too late?
When one thinks about it, pride was the greatest enemy to the most powerful and beautiful of all the angels, and he surrendered to it. Like sin, 'i' is in the middle of pride. We definitely need to be extra vigilant & surrender to Christ and carry our cross daily, for none of us have a reason to be proud in ourselves, but rather of Him that made us and sanctified us in Christ Jesus. @@belindasierra9275 the old testament isn't the law. The Torah is the law. The rest of the Testament consists of historical stories that teach us lessons and about God. And some psalms and proverbs of wisdom and prophesies and promises from God. And the old testament actually consists of the new covenant of God writing is law in our hearts. Since i watch this sermon 6 days ago, every time I looked up in the mirror I always tell myself, this person in front of me is my greatest enemy😂😅 Thank you for the good message pastor, truly God used you to inspire us, You are right pastor, as a Christian our number greatest enemy is ourselves. Jesus knew you fixed that pole. His reward in the form of a smile is better than a zillion mortal smiles. That’s how I get away from being selfish, when I do escape, that is. I say I’m doing this as unto the Lord, and then I look up, and I know he’s smiling at me. Anything i do for others is worth His approval. Love your sermons. This is so true I've seen this happen before, there are a few pastors that are actually obsessed with bringing in academia references to the sermon e.g. great thinkers of the world and quoting their writings then correlating that to the Bible ?

As a young person falling out from the teachings i was bought up with as a Seventh Day Adventist coming across this particular sermon and particularly today the opening sabbath is Gods love for me reminding me that I am my biggest enemy and that i cannot and should not blame others or the devil for following the teachings of the circular world.
I finally realized that every single teachings out there just talks about loving yourself, choosing yourself and your happiness, looking after yourself and grooming yourself. Every teaching is centered around the 'self' theory that we have forgotten and abondoned the most important of all..God the Father and the creator who should be magnified.

When one thinks about it, pride was the greatest enemy to the most powerful and beautiful of all the angels, and he surrendered to it. Like sin, 'i' is in the middle of pride. We definitely need to be extra vigilant & surrender to Christ and carry our cross daily, for none of us have a reason to be proud in ourselves, but rather of Him that made us and sanctified us in Christ Jesus.
