Rev 11:7-15 when they shall have finished their testimony(Nov 2023 - Apr 2027)
That's the same mistake William Miller made. Assuming the "cleansing of the sanctuary" meant the 2nd coming of Jesus. There is no biblical proof for that.
There IS however evidence that the 2300 years began that same year as Dan 9s 70 weeks - 457BC. It's where Miller got the date 1844. Though his prediction of what was to occur was incorrect his timeline was accurate. What is the "open door" in Rev 3:8? Please explain Rev 8:3-5. The 1st angel's message of Rev 14. The prophecy of Rev chapter 10... I have MANY more questions to ask you on the subject but I doubt you have the knowledge to give answer.

Yes. Feeling anxious is not the same as anxiety. And feeling low and depression are not the same thing. These are serious disorders that may need treatment. I found it a little insensitive to laugh it off as low blood sugar. People are hurting. You could push people away with that response. Other than that, I am enjoying the seminar.
This subject matter is very close to my heart, however it does leave a very bad taste in my mouth. You see, I used to attend the Granite Bay SDA Church, and I was slated to be "BAPTIZED". My baptism was postponed, rescheduled and delayed several times, I was so naive and little did I know, I was caught up in "RED TAPE" (I could be wrong). Then, we moved out of California. Please do Enlighten me, because I searched the Gospels, and there is not an incident that Christ or the Apostles did this kind of thing. Nevertheless, GOD sees my heart, and I strongly believe that the Lord will take me to His kingdom. SALVATION is a very private and personal transaction between GOD and myself, and no one can help it, not even the SDA Church, only through GOD's Grace and Mercy. I am moving on to find a different Sabbath keeping Church ! God Bless the preaching of the Word, and thank GOD for using Pastor Doug Batchelor to preach the Gospel to every nation and every tongue. I do hope this is only an isolated incident.
Pastor, Batchelor! On time stamp 46:40 you get into the discussion of what baptism means and how it is performed.
First off, you are committing an etymological fallacy by saying that baptism has to mean a certain thing because that is the meaning of the word 'immerse'! To counter your understanding of the Greek word, 'baptiso, it doesn't imply full immersion, It’s used in scripture to refer to the immersion of "parts" of the body, like the hands and feet when washing, "washing and pouring".
In 46:24 you said, "in the world today there are a lot of counterfeit baptisms". I wonder where you come up with this because the Didache (Teaching of the twelve disciples) proves otherwise when it comes to Sprinkling! Sure, immersion is the most expressive form used today but to call sprinkling a "counterfeit" brings a mockery to what the disciples taught and they were taught by Christ Himself!
Besides, what you are saying is not what scripture teaches about baptism! In fact, scripture does not give instruction for how baptisms are to be carried out! Baptism is something we receive more through sacred tradition (the Didache), which is a first century teaching of the apostles and shows the thinking of the early church. If there was no living water (like a river or a stream), the water is to be poured on the head three times to signify the "Father, Son and Holy Spirit"!
So, to go back to your earlier comment, "how it is said makes no difference" is absolutely not correct! Jeff

We are to be baptized in the same way John baptized. Full immersion in the water. The Ethiopian was baptized in full water acts 8:38. In John 3:22-23 we find mention that this is the commission given.
The Bible actually says baptise and then teach them the things Jesus taught.
Not teach them first and then baptise them.
Not happy when people misquote scripture.
You have to teach someone about Jesus before you baptize them. Matthew 28:19 says "Go ye therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
How can you "...make disciples of all the nations.." without teaching them?
Verse 20 just further emphasizes the point "..teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you..."

The church seems to teach them everything first then they baptise.
They also baptise them into the SDA religion which is not biblical.
They are saved by hearing the Word and repenting. Once you repent you are baptized in the (NAME) of Jesus. His name is important not titles if His name IR that would be different titles . In the NAME of the Father(and OF) the Son, and (of) the Holy Spirit. Every in the Bible it says in the name if "Jesus Christ" not titles and I believe important to get that right
13:07-13:14 (John 20:17) Do you not know Jesus prays to God because He is Jesus's God, and your man-fabricated trinity will be exposed (soon)? Also just a cerebral question, can God truly have His own God (rhetorical)?
Heb 1:8-9? Compare with Ps 45:6-7 How about John 1:1-3 and 10? And, of course, verse 14; "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." Want more proof? I have more....
"Trinity" is a Catholic term not found in scripture but (according to I John 5:7) the concept is accurate. Catholics also "claim" the crucifixion of Jesus grants redemption from sin. Are they wrong about that too? Most of the teachings of Catholicism are based on pagan beliefs and (as a whole) nothing they say can be trusted. But they still get few things right.
