She was tricking. He had his kids all weekend and was returning them home. She didn't answer the door because she was inside with another man. He went to the window to get her to open the door. Games people play. Murder setup.
Looks to be a bad shoot. The bullet through the glass shows he wasn’t climbing in the window as stated. If in fact he was there with his kids to turn them over to the mother, he wasn’t trespassing. The shooter will have to provide evidence he reasonably thought his life was in danger. I think the people inside ignored the door and when the father went to knock on the window, he was murdered.
I can think of a couple of different reason why the shooting would be justified. If words were exchanged and the one killed threatened the man inside with a gun so the the guy inside started shooting through the window then the guy crawled through a different window to shoot back... Or, maybe the intruder crawled through the window, words were exchanged and they had a shootout. Or maybe they were sleeping or doing other "things" in the bedroom and all the lights were off. The intruder snuck in the window, made some noise, the other man came out with a gun, saw a shadowy form and took a shot, hitting the window, and the intruder fired back. I think we'll have to wait and see what happened before we can really know, but I don't think a bullet hole in the window = a bad shoot considering the man was shot inside the house. If the guy inside shot outside, there's literally no good reason for the intruder to crawl in the window.
It’s Florida. He has a right, if he was a permit holder, to carry concealed. He was there to transfer the children to the mother…if you bothered to watch the video.
