(Is that even consistent with approximate date of death.) Can they swim (no autopsy completed - no cause of death stated)? What is the age of the second female victim? Could that be a mom, aunt, cousin, older sibling? Hopefully, they can update with height & weight soon. And, it's not known where the victims are from. (Parents in other areas may have made report. 🤷) Of course something doesn't "feel" right. And, bodies were discovered 8 hours apart. Could there be more victims later? Child or adult? One of them started to drown and the other girl jumped in to rescue her family member/friend and they both ended up drowning. I wonder how deep the canal is? Also, just because there are no local missing persons reports for these two girls, doesn’t mean that they weren’t missing. Perhaps their families had not reported them missing yet.

After the second (presumably young) female was discovered that did occur as 1 of many possibilities. Did one fall in and neither could swim? However, if something as innocent as that likely someone might have called or reported them missing days ago. (If 1 of 2 not mom.) Likely in the water for at least 3-4 days by now. If cause of death obvious; LE and news might still hold back; waiting on a tip. And, could there be more? Could the second victim even be the mom? Babysitter? Care taker? Are parents in danger? Deceased? Another concern is that no one in the immediately area seems to recognize them. Law Enforcement needs to focus on that ASAP for public safety. How did they get there? And, by whom? Have they asked around to see who has security cameras in the area and entrance (exit) points? Going back 3:4 days for anyone that does. A killer could have left town 3-4 days ago. Was this little girl visiting or staying with an aunt or older cousin? Parent(s) could be out of town on a business trip. (Or, temporarily incarcerated.) And, honestly don't know. Or, worse. float to the surface tomorrow. But, sure drowning; without any autopsy report, can't be ignored. (It's happened before.) Swimming lessons are offered for free in some Florida counties during the summer months. High Schools have swim teams.

This shouldn't have to be said, but bodies get dumped in water all the time. A clear indicator that they didn't drown is when there's no water in the lungs, which detectives can't say until the forensics team makes the call. Hope you have a good week.
