A Star Wars What If series could easily run 7 to 10 seasons as there are endless potential episodes and any alternate revenge of the sith scenarios are fascinating to me as this movie specifically changed the landscape of the entire star wars galaxy so much.
Even though I am strongly Team Marvel instead of Star Wars, I couldnt agree more. No one ever asked what happened if T'CHalla became Star Lord and nobody really cared about what happened if a zombie apocalypse had broken out. Star Wars on the other hand would be so fucking great to see. Like you said 7 to 10 seasons EASILY. I always thought that had Vader not burned, he would have been far more dangerous, not because of his Force powers, but because of his look. A Vader with Anakin's face and heroics behind him would wield far more political power than the masked enforcer that we saw in the main timeline. Plus, Anakin could be both sneaky and charming when he wished, as we saw several times in the Clone Wars, a Darth Vader with charm and subtlety would have been a far more lethal version, because he would not need fear alone to sway others to his cause.
Yes I agree. I read this years ago on a forum about alternative time lines. One user gave his interaction with Leia as an example. Instead of bringing her directly to a torture room, unburned Vader would likely use his charms and cunning to try and get information from her, maybe touring the Death Star and what not more like a dark prince than a brutal enforcer. I also feel like Vader would not be as hateful or self loathing had he not been burned. Canon Vader is always in a state of suffering due to the suit, Vader harnesses this pain to fall deeper into the Dark Side, becoming detached from his humanity and therefore hating himself more. I feel like unburned Vader would probably be a bit more like Count Dooku in the sense that he would dress well and use his good looks to charm and disarm people while being monstrously powerful. They always show Darkside users as being decayed and sickly, but if we want to get a little mythical with Anakin being the chosen one, they say Lucifer is beautiful after all.

I found the scene of him walking in his cloak with the clones with the glowing sith eyes much more menacing than anything I’ve seen vader do. It was just something special about it
@@oddgbmo3036 well I mean it’s not like 1-3 were made first. The whole “never reached his true potential” wasn’t a thing in A New Hope. Darth Vader’s appearance was what made him an iconic villain off the bat
@JL-XrtaMayoNoCheese no what I'm suggesting is power level chasing from anakin too angry to mind those around him eventually leading to him realizing who the true enemy is and so leading into anakin soloing the universe essentially. Just as Kratos did in his story for Greek mythology. Seeing an alternative timeline would be interesting. It's better than the mindless power already obtained right off the bat with Rey. Ofc this is all opinions
I don’t think it would be so hard for Vader to convince Luke to leave with him, if you remember in episode four Luke wanted to get off Tatooine and expressed interest in joining the empire.
Luke stated he hated the empire before Obi-Wan rescued him from the Tusken Raiders. Luke was planning to join the rebellion, not the empire's military.
We already have the What If Grind. The Old Expanded Universe. But I know what you mean. On the Big Screen. Which that would be interesting to see. The Expanded Universe (The Star Wars Multiverse) in Live Action or Animated.
I’m pretty sure that the Emperor even wanted Anakin to betray him at some point had he not lost to Obi-Wan. He was already preparing for Anakin’s rise to power and accepted the Sith tradition of the apprentice killing the master. He saw Anakin as a worthy replacement for his empire.
I think he’d at least try to transfer his force essence into Anakin‘s body. But I could see either playing out seeing as how palpatine once said that he would’ve been disappointed if Anakin never tried to kill him
Palpatine installed a weakness to lightning for a reason and continously had him surveyed by the royal guards. That and his back up body, palpatine didn't respect the rule of two. The inquisitors were further proof of this, and Maul, and Ventress. He was a self serving tyrant who disgraced the Sith of old. Maul and Vader would be the best duo in my opinion of master and apprentice with Vader as the master
I would want to see a “What If” of Anakin letting Mace kill Palpatine, and then another of Anakin never losing to Obi wan but staying with the dark side. I get the whole “his children showed him the Light”, but at the same time, seeing Anakin at his full potential, especially w the Dark side would be crazy
@@TheSolarium18 actually to be honest with you George Lucas said that Mace windu actually beat him if Anakin did not get involved he would have died there you can look that up...
Take into account that Anakin had a Sith artifact called the Amulet of Khan built directly into his right glove, meaning his right hand was literally indestructible. It also meant it was his most powerful asset in the entire suit. He could parry blaster bolts, lightsaber strikes, flames, electricity, and all variety of physical weaponry just by raising his right hand.
didn’t think i’d be crying my eyes out on the way to work this morning! this was BEAUTIFUL and just completely capturing! please please PLEASE animate this with some dialogue or even live action! this is truly one of the only ones that is worthy of a film!
It's stuff like this that just makes me annoyed that the force can seeminly do everything and nothing. You're talking about how Obi-Wan didn't have time to run down there and finish Anakin off, but why can't he just real quickly force push him into the lava or smth? Or even pull anakin up to him if he doesn't want to kill him via lava and thinks it'd be more humane to finish it with a lightsaber? I mean come on, he had ample time for a quick force push lol, he had time to yell at him and pick up the lightsaber after all. I think the only real explanation is that he didn't have the heart to finish off his friend and brother, and instead convinced himself that what he did was ok because he believed that it was the fire that killed Anakin, not himself. Just as a bit of self-assurance. Ultimately, this selfish act led to one of the greatest forces of evil the galaxy had ever known. How it be.
This reminds me of the cartoon where a female jedi had her lightsaber stolen and was trying to chase the thief down. The entire time I’m wondering why she doesn’t use the force to pull the lightsaber back.
Force is all about emotional control and mental fortitude. How is it hard to realize that Tiger Woods could either be amazing or horrible at his next match and you wouldn’t be surprised either way. Same with someone like Jordan playing for The Wizards.
@@mwm48 that seems unlikely, Obi-Wan treated Maul with the same respect at his death as he did Qui-Gon and Satine, and Maul is the one who took those 2 from him. Something tells me he wouldn't treat Anakin of all people worse than Maul.
Something to consider: I remember it being it stated that Vader post-Mustafar was still capable of surpassing Sidious despite his injuries. Vader’s own self-hatred and doubt kept him from reaching his true potential.
True, Sidious knew Anakin's anger and hatred wouldn't make him strong enough to otherthrow him, since only focus, love and compassion can beat hate, but it would make him strong enough to be used as his personal tool.
I believe it was actually stated somewhere that the reason Vader never used force lightning was due to the fact it would actually short out his life support system.
That's the EU, in the new comics Sidius used force lighting on Vader after. This happened right after the "noooo" scene, so in canon, Vader's suit should be fine using force lighting.
@@akoskormendi9711 In canon it also damage his life System, the difference is that the force Lightning that palapatine use in that comic werent intent to kill Vader
I love how his precognition worked in the Thrawn novels; he could see a few seconds ahead which allows him to block blaster bolts, and it's part of why he was so good with a lightsaber despite less training than anyone else.
Well, that's just the basic precognition just about every Force user has. Otherwise, they wouldn't be able to block blaster bolts at all. Though I believe there are differences in how strong this is depending on the individual.
I genuinely LOVE this story more than the original! it would be so badass to see Vader at his full strength! and (to me personally) having both the twins learn the light and the dark side of the force makes so much more sense! To see Leia as a Jedi?!? to have them both face off with their father! I would love to see this version of events come to life!
technically he would be a force god full potental anakin could take on the son and daughter by himself if anything palpatine is the demi god as hes half of anakin and idk if its true but i saw somewhere ahsoka had half the potental of anakin as well so that would put her full potental on par with palpatine
Basically a God in the force, maybe not as powerful as Mortis Gods, but if he was on Mortis he would be as powerful as the Father. Yes, Anakin would be nigh-unstoppable.
Amazingly solid, and well told. I especially like how Luke doesn't swap fully to the light side in the end, allowing him and Leia to teach their school both sides, creating a better balance. Besides, I find it way more interesting when the force isn't so black and white.
I feel like his canon arc would have been better if they didn't do the main films, then the prequels. Because they did the prequels after they had to try and make a convincing story to get to the original trilogy. If it was made in timeline order they story would have been more well rounded.
@@commenterimjustacommenter yeah I agree thats the whole point of the phrase "There is still good in him" also I don't think Anakin would kill the Lars family
Man, that brought a tear to my eyes, amazing alternate storyline that makes perfect sense and would be in character for Anakin, would also lead to a better finale and redeem the "Anakin was the chosen one" by bringing ACTUAL balance in the force, meaning you can combine both the light and the dark to a balanced form, a grey area, which would become the ultimate force user.
I was expecting to hear about Vader with most of his potential eventually overthrowing the Emperor; and you lay out a treatment for alternate Episodes 4-6. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
Do you notice that the body of vader's armor IS the same of anakin's clone Wars armor? In the First and Second season Of course, without the robotic chest
That could be a pretty complex one. Yoda strikes down Sidious, so in that case command of the clones would switch to Vader. So Yoda would have to begin building a resistance to the overwhelming Clone forces at this point if he had the energy to do so. Vader could also potentially save Padme, with Sidious gone and Obi-Wan dead, one wonders if Padme could have convinced him to leave the Dark side.
So there's actually a mod in Battlefront 2 which is called Lord Skywalker, which I will say is easily the coolest mod, where it's both Vader and Anakin combined, slow and intimidating while being charismatic and fierce, I know his ferocity grew more as Vader, but when he was still ferocious.
He kept it that way as punishment for what happened to his wife. But actually he does upgrade some of the armor himself still caused him discomfort and pain but atleast he was able to move better. Later on sidious was willing to upgrade all of his armor but there was a chance his life would be in danger from the surgery so he declined it
In legends (the original extended universe) the armor was very heavy, ill fitted, he would receive radio feedback from near by ships so he would hear a lot of sounds constantly. His skin would crack off and had to be applied artificial skin every so often and like sidious planned he didn't give him the best armor due to having him be punished to be constantly reminded of his lost of Padam and keep him on a leash to control him better as well strength his connection to the dark side. There were "attempt s" at Vader trying to upgrade his suit but the process would be too difficult for him how badly damaged his body was and to even transfer his body to a new suit would kill him. Which is why he never tried to do it since there would be no point to do that
Dude, I wish Disney would hire you to be in charge of a Star Wars animated series about these fan fiction scenarios by using the world’s between worlds (similar to the marvel what if series). It would be so cool, you would make one hell of a fun series

@Helen🥂T[A]P Me!! to Have [𝐒]𝐄𝐗 With it would be interesting to see Luke and Vader travel across the galaxy quelling rebellions over the galaxy as Anakin/Vader would have a total disregard for politics
Anakin's turn back to the light in this is definitely solid. his entire nature was being fractured and fragile and it always came out in his most stressful moments.
I think Vader would have turned back to Anakin almost immediately after killing Palpatine. Without that evil old wretch I see him having almost no connection to the dark side because any attempt by Obi-Wan to turn him back would not have an opposing force keeping him dark. I think Vader fearing Palpatine was a big reason for him to not listen to Obi-Wan.
True, Palpatine’s manipulation was the biggest thing that drew him to the dark side besides the old Jedi council’s broken mindset. With both of those gone, Vader would almost naturally find tranquility, Palpatine wouldn’t be there, so there’s no one to keep telling him that it was his fault that Padme died, and he’d be able to finishing up his mourning and effectively move on, his guilt over Padme’s death was one of the things that KEPT him tied to the dark side
Once you go down that path you can’t just flip a switch. How Reva did it so fast was rushed into 6 episodes. It’s not so simple. It takes someone else to help you find your way. You don’t just go you know what? I’m done being evil. 😂
@@robhileman8890 when the objects that kept you evil and dragged you down are suddenly gone, the only place to go now is up. It starts with him finding peace that these problems are gone from his life, then a few months or years of contemplation and realization of how it was all really tied to Palpatine’s manipulation, and he’s the real problem, but he’s gone, so there’s nothing to worry about. Then remembering all the special people who were in his life, who he owes it to fix everything that he’s done

This is some of the best writing I've heard for Star Wars fan fiction. And it makes me want them to re create the films with this storyline, Anakin not being burnt on Mustafar and raising Luke as a Sith apprentice.
Being at least 80% of the Emperor’s power is still a huge amount. I mean Sidious is OP. And Vader being second to him? Let’s be real, being 20% apart in power is not a huge gap. Vader’s strength in the force is still massive and he can overcome his limits if he taps into his anger.
@@Shadowrulzalways It really depends on how big the number we're talking about. Personally, I don't like this anime like approach to powerlevels. Giving them an arbitrary % doesn't mean much to me.
If Anakin hadn't burned, and I'd concur on this fan fiction up to a point, down to where he kills the emperor and becomes emperor himself. Another thing, without being burned, he'd have the "clairvoyance enough" that the burns and the suit limit him, to sense his children are alive. Also after killing the emperor, he wouldn't be so dark, maybe gray, so I think once he finds out, he'd find them and rule the galaxy together as father and children and maybe there'd be peace in the galaxy.
@@Noctifern He slaughtered Jedis that happened to be children but strong in the Force and potential threat to the emperor's plan, and remember he had at that point to collaborate with all the emperor's plans because he'd promised he had the only key to saving Padme and his child (or so he thought it was just one). He was not evil he just chose his wife and child over a few Padawans that could grow to slay him and his family eventually. I ask you, if you saw a future potential threat to you or your family, even if they're children, wouldn't you try to eliminate it before it's an imminent danger to your loved ones and not just a threat? I as a father know I surely would.
Palpating knew Anakin was his greatest threat so he befriended him as a child just to manipulate him and control him the rest of his life not only that but also his kids. Truly evil. I feel bad for Anakin
There's a theory which I believe is true. Palpatine impregnated Shmi using the force and midichlorians, which is why Anakin was born with the highest midichlorian count of any living being
That was actually a pretty good and emotional ending. I love the idea that Anakin still is taken by the fire but this time he chooses to be consumed by it. On Mustafar the fire represented his decent into evil now it represents his freedom from it.

As a kid who grew up with Star Wars in the 80's, my friends and I were always had the impression that the Emperor was the one that gave him the life threatening wounds. We knew he and Obi-Wan fought but figured he walked away with at least losing an arm or something. We figured the Emperor made Anakin fight him to prove his worthiness. It was the 80's so everything was speculation.
sick vid man! Disney really need to make a star wars what if its got so much potential, maybe they could incorporate some of your ideas as you deserve recognition for these!
Damn, love this! Loved all of it but especially the ending with how dark and light lessons were taught with balance in the force and how Aniken still did the right thing in the end for his family.
2:24 I disagree. Obi wan only let the fire take Anakin because he couldn't bring himself to do it. Thats why he turned away as he was burning. The shuttle showed up while/after he was on fire. Long after Kenobi walked away.
That was awesome. And I agree with the idea of bringing balance to the force would be Jedi and Sith teachings. Just minus the extreme stuff that creates the conflict.
I've always had this idea that when Palpatine told Vader that he had killed Padme, the shock snapped Anakin back to the light. Palpatine then used him as a template for clones and this/these clones are the ones we see in the films. After a number of years, Luke seeks out and rescues Anakin and........well, you can make it up from there.
The way I see it, I think seeing anakin in Vader’s armor without the mask would be a good thing, because this would just be considered his sith outfit because at that point in time he officially joined the dark side. Plus, it would’ve been a great tribute to George Lucas’s original concept of Vader
I disagree that the Death Star would be finished constructed or even operational after Sidious' death; Vader destested its existence, mask or no mask. True, a lot of time and credits were put into its making, but since when does Vader care about the amount of effort lesser beings have placed into the former Emperor's ego project?
My guess is that Vader would likely mass produce Tie Defenders instead or focus more on Military might, since he's more Military focused plus he'll have Thrawn to command his navy.
@@trevorsnow4274 Agreed and it for this reason I think the empire would split upon Palpatines death. Half would follow vader and the rest would follow Tarkin. The question is, would vader be able to defeat Tarkin, who has been shown to be smarter than vader, especially if Tarken manages to finish the death star. Just my opinion .
Vader respected Tarkin so I think the death star will continue under Tarkin's watch just on a much slower pace while boosting production of tie defenders and star destroyers another note don't think the rebellion will grow as big or effective under Vader's watch given Sidious allowed it grow so he can do a clean sweep when the time came and he had his death star while Vader is more strait forward and would either curb stop or charm any problems as they come up
Love the idea of cloning his limbs. Since they have cloning technology, wouldn’t that make everyone virtually immortal who could afford it? Is that how Yoda lived to be 900?
No the brain would still age and brain transplants are impossible after all thats were your conscious resides thats why EU Palpatine has too transfer his conscious too a new clone using the force

Does lore back up your claim about dark side energy corrupting one’s physical appearance? Plenty of Sith Lords and dark side users looked normal on the outside. Palpatine and the others who became disfigured, did so because of over ambitious risk taking, etc.

Some time ago, I read that if anakin had not been burned, he would have been recognized as a hero, but not by chance of fate, but because the chancellor palpatin, during the clone wars, was in charge of making anakin look like a war hero , as he pulled the strings and sent Anakin on important missions where Palpatine knew Anakin would succeed, while making sure everyone knew of his victories. PD. sorry if i wrote something wrong, i'm still learning hahaha
This was great, as always. I wonder if Obi-Wan would have left Anakin on Mustafar if he wasn't burning. I always thought Obi-Wan believed Anakin was done for and there was no way he could survive, so he turned his back on the scene, being very hard to watch. I suspect Obi-Wan would have taken Anakin back to Padme and their love would keep each other alive, if he hadn't burned.
Would Obi-Wan have reached out as he did in our timeline to teach Anakin how to become a force ghost as he was dying? Beautiful what if by the way. Great work!
Of many of SWT’s videos, I love the ones where he delved into the lore, mentality, symbolism, and morality of Vader. Not to mention his “what if” videos. Vader is an iconic villain in cinema for many reasons, and Star Wars Theory’s breakdowns into the character about things most may not know about the Sith, makes Vader all the more realistically compelling to learn more about.
I like the general direction of the second story, but I also feel like it does too quick of a 180 for Vader. Granted I think that happened in the actual movies a lot too so it's not unprecedented
At 07:21 it's mentioned that "Qui-Gon taught Yoda and Yoda taught Obi-Wan" - but I thought it was Yoda who taught Count Dooku, who then taught Qui-Gon Jinn, who then, in turn, taught Obi-Wan Kenobi?
I just realized if anakin never got burned padme would be alive! Think about it. Anakin got very badly burned and had trouble breathing due to the damage in his lungs. If PALPATINE simply transferred their life force from one to another then that would make sense! If anakin never got got burned alive then padme would live Now some might say that padme died of heartbreak which is possible BUT it wouldn’t make sense because her last words were so full of hope that anakin would return. Why would she be heartbroken? It makes sense that her life force was taken from her in her weakest moment 😨

How it be.
Exactly, Obi-Wan told himself that he left Anakins destiny to the forces will
This reminds me of the cartoon where a female jedi had her lightsaber stolen and was trying to chase the thief down.
He used a fucking sith saber technique to dismember him in the first place, he probably wanted Anakin to suffer
I thought it was also stated that his armor also limited his abilities due to how poorly put together it was
You’d think ‘self-hatred and doubt’ would make you better at using the dark side of the force.
@@tijojose7966 No hatred towards the others would I think Vader was depressed
Another reason why Sidious gave Vader a suit that was vulnerable to Force Lightning.
I believe it was actually stated somewhere that the reason Vader never used force lightning was due to the fact it would actually short out his life support system.
Even then he wouldn't risk shorting his cybernetics
That's the EU, in the new comics Sidius used force lighting on Vader after. This happened right after the "noooo" scene, so in canon, Vader's suit should be fine using force lighting.
@@akoskormendi9711 In canon it also damage his life System, the difference is that the force Lightning that palapatine use in that comic werent intent to kill Vader

@@rodolfosanchez3397 True, but still, that means at least he can use some level of force lighting without shortcircuiting his life support systems.

Agreed. I like how the ending is bittersweet yet very satisfying, metaphoric, and hopeful.
In the First and Second season
Of course, without the robotic chest
Awesome video/theory.
Here's one: What if Yoda won, but so did Anakin/Vader?
Yo that duel would be legendary between Yoda and Anakin
I’ve seen it, and it’s badass
I always wondered why Vader didn’t just take it upon himself to upgrade his armor anyways. No matter what Sidious said.
Which is why he never tried to do it since there would be no point to do that
They could’ve upgraded it but sidious wanted him to stay for more pain and it would’ve been near impossible to do it without Vader dying

@@neroidius6915 Very true. On top of Palpatine influencing him I also believe he felt trapped and feared Palpatine.

It starts with him finding peace that these problems are gone from his life, then a few months or years of contemplation and realization of how it was all really tied to Palpatine’s manipulation, and he’s the real problem, but he’s gone, so there’s nothing to worry about.
I like this idea that is so cool
The way I see it, I think seeing anakin in Vader’s armor without the mask would be a good thing, because this would just be considered his sith outfit because at that point in time he officially joined the dark side. Plus, it would’ve been a great tribute to George Lucas’s original concept of Vader
If I did not love Vader‘s suit so much, this would have been an amazing plot!
I really liked the ending where they created balance by using both light and dark side of the force, as there is no light without dark.
There was still grand moff tarkin who could carry on palpatine's work. As we seen on rogue one, he was in charge of making the death star anyway.
Vader respected Tarkin so I think the death star will continue under Tarkin's watch just on a much slower pace while boosting production of tie defenders and star destroyers
another note don't think the rebellion will grow as big or effective under Vader's watch given Sidious allowed it grow so he can do a clean sweep when the time came and he had his death star while Vader is more strait forward and would either curb stop or charm any problems as they come up
He’d probably find more interest in the dark trooper project.

I love it! I started to sobbing when Leia said “it is still good in you”! And yes this will be a great tv show!!!
If we're using legends type feats, Emperor Vader would survive a death star explosion.
How tho? (genuinely curious)
@@dory3096 Basically what they other guy said. Legends feats involve crazy feats that are basically more similar to extremely powerful magic in a high fantasy genre. Anakin could've easily opened a wormhole in the force and just stepped into his bedroom completely unharmed. Considering someone as powerful in the Force as this Anakin could have been, the possibilities are nearly endless.
@@newhybrid101 I don’t know. Even then that’s a ton of energy , and after it explodes how long w would he be able to last out in space. I mean not he empires in retreat there’s tons of pieces and unless Luke’s looking for him head probably die due to lack of oxygen or just losing consciousness .
Oh damn thanks guys
@@historyking9984 I'm pretty sure in the legends thrawn trilogy Luke was able to survive without oxygen for a few days by using the force to hibernate so an emperor Vader would probably be able to survive weeks without oxygen
Your impression of Hayden’s Anakin voice just kept giving me chills 😭 Bravo man… I hope Disney sees this. This would be an amazing What If for Star Wars. Or new canon 👀🤣
To be honest, I would have preferred it if Vader didn't burn. The Darth Vader suit never really compelled me all that much. I think it would have been cooler to see Vader unburned, and reach a higher potential to use lightning abilities
I feel you brother i would love to see more of Anakin real face but darth vader but it is impossible not to show the real face of darth vader tbh
Maybe but think about the order these movies were made and the era. Without the prequel story first the suit was a great way to make Vader a menacing bad guy.
the the thing is he couldnt use force lightning either way, theo nly reason he could use it is because of his robotic limbs. he would have to have not suffered any injuries at all on mustafar to use lightning
Well, I mean Vader is the thing that made Star Wars into what it is today. Without that character in the OT the franchise would never have gotten that big.
Jesus Christ loves you all please repent
You know how to make me cry theory 😭😭. I can’t deal with the Anakin and padmé parts. The ending was gut wrenching.
Its better than being shot by general kenobi
If Anakin won against obi-wan and didn't lose his limbs or burn, his power after a while would be complete unstoppable. He would probably have the most powerful force user in existence.
1 word. Abeloth
@@silverstrikegaming195 another thing, luke skywalker defeated abeloth which wasn't an easy feat for him in his prime.. however anakin literally used the force to slam both the son and the daughter, who are also gods which exist to stop abeloth, to the ground in mere seconds.
@@hamzah1325 I completely agree with you but lets not forget there is a lot of evidence pointing towards the force being boosted in that plain of existance, especially the Chosen One.
I always get SO excited when there's a new fan fiction! Thank you SO much!
i was always confused why anakin didnt just kind of force nudge himself up a little bit away from the lava. he still had some strength left though it was small.
Just a thought, if obi wan would’ve went down the hill, there’s no way he could’ve gotten stuck. He could easily force jump out our there
Or just force push Anakin without going downhill at all
I've always thought Anakin would surpass palpatine before he was thirty
This was great, as always. I wonder if Obi-Wan would have left Anakin on Mustafar if he wasn't burning. I always thought Obi-Wan believed Anakin was done for and there was no way he could survive, so he turned his back on the scene, being very hard to watch. I suspect Obi-Wan would have taken Anakin back to Padme and their love would keep each other alive, if he hadn't burned.
Would Obi-Wan have reached out as he did in our timeline to teach Anakin how to become a force ghost as he was dying? Beautiful what if by the way. Great work!
This is by far probably one of your best ones yet my friend. Keep up the good awesome work!
Bro, this was so good to listen to. Now I wish there was an “what if” live action of this.
I teared up during Anakin’s sacrifice
I did too XD
I love how every alternate video you make is better than what actually happened
anakin after being burnt like morning toast.
“this is outrageous it’s unfair.” 😡
😭
“Take a seat...oh nevermind”
TOAST Anakin
Of many of SWT’s videos, I love the ones where he delved into the lore, mentality, symbolism, and morality of Vader. Not to mention his “what if” videos. Vader is an iconic villain in cinema for many reasons, and Star Wars Theory’s breakdowns into the character about things most may not know about the Sith, makes Vader all the more realistically compelling to learn more about.
I like the general direction of the second story, but I also feel like it does too quick of a 180 for Vader. Granted I think that happened in the actual movies a lot too so it's not unprecedented
If vader never burned, He would turn to the light side very quickly as his suit is the reason why he stayed in the dark side.
No he wouldn’t have cause he knew the dark side was the only way to save padame
But she died 💀
I love these what if's, especially the ones about Anakin
At 07:21 it's mentioned that "Qui-Gon taught Yoda and Yoda taught Obi-Wan" - but I thought it was Yoda who taught Count Dooku, who then taught Qui-Gon Jinn, who then, in turn, taught Obi-Wan Kenobi?
If I wasn't so jaded by life, that ending would've brought me to tears.
I just realized if anakin never got burned padme would be alive! Think about it. Anakin got very badly burned and had trouble breathing due to the damage in his lungs. If PALPATINE simply transferred their life force from one to another then that would make sense! If anakin never got got burned alive then padme would live
Now some might say that padme died of heartbreak which is possible BUT it wouldn’t make sense because her last words were so full of hope that anakin would return. Why would she be heartbroken? It makes sense that her life force was taken from her in her weakest moment 😨
