Good morning Mike from 51 cloudy mid Tenn. Severe storms later today and tonight. Wow Navy just squeaked by OU I noted. But a win is a win! Have a good day as this year is almost over.

Hey, Happy Saturday, Mike. Made happier by a visit from Darrell & a cup of coffee. Please let Darrell know how your viewers get such pleasure from his upbeat visits. Mild Dec day with temp of 67° @ noon and it wont go below 60° tonight. Today’s video set the tone - it's gonna be a great day. Stay safe and be careful.
Good afternoon, Jm; I thank you for dropping by as well as the comments. I always enjoy a visit with Darrell. What a gentleman. Sounds as though I 've missed the 1st quarter of the Nebraska football game from Yankee Stadium. Oh well. Hope that you have a great Saturday back there. Plese take care and stay safe!
Good afternoon, Carolyn; Thank you for stopping by and the comments today. Nope. I didn't hear any roosters this morning. May have been huddled up in the coop yet. I have another bowl game on the TV right now with CSU playing Miami of Ohio in Arizona. I'll tune in on the CU game later. Maybe. Don't watch the Broncos. That's my part to help them win. By actively not paying attention to them. Anyway, I hope that you are having a great afternoon and evening down there. Please take care and stay safe!

@@carolynsteed3649 After both Navy and Nebraska won their games after trying to give them up, I am done with football for the year. There is a lot of stupidity out there. I think I'll stick to beer pong and tiddlywinks. Taylor Swift hasn't ruined those games yet.
Good morning, Joseph; I thank you for looking in and the comments. AMTRAK does move the power around from route to route. And then some of the power seems to stay within a region for its lifetime. Anyway, have a great Mondy. Please take care and stay safe!
Good afternoon and thank you for tuning in as well as the comment/question. I think that we will see him again in about 11 days. His attitude is very catching and positive. I have always enjoyed meets with him. When he does make the move to the regional and local work, he will be missed out here on the route of the Zephyrs. Hope that you have a great afternoon and evening. Please take care and stay safe!
Good morning Mike. Nice to see Darryl again, Happy New Year Darrel! That did seem like a very long wait indeed. Lots of horn music on the way out. Question: Do the engine numbers have a particular significance? Like is 79 older than 179. Enjoy your Saturday, thanks and stay well.
Good afternoon, Dan; I thank you fortuning in as well as the comments and questions. That was the earliest arrival time I think I have witnessed here. That did make it nice for the visit with Darrell. As for engine numbers et al. Yes. #79 is older than #179 but the engine number is more of a monitoring symbol than anything. #79 has been thru a rebuild and thus the Phase VII paint scheme. That is the same as the ALC42s wear. The engine build numbers tell the real story of age. hat can be hard to find but it can be found by searching for the locomotive rosters for the railroads you're after. Many sites have that data and photos of the engines over the years. I have a football game on the TV right now. I am listening to the announcers and trying not to be distracted too much. Have a great Afternoon and evening back there. Please take care and stay safe!
