Thank you BW (especially Janci, Obi, and Eric) for these reactions. Blind Wave has meant a lot to me for quite a while now, and I'm loving how much they continue to broaden my experiences! I love this song so much, even though I'm a little sad that Ahyeon got few lines later on to incorporate her in the OT7 version, but I guess it was pretty impossible to give her more lines without basically changing the whole song. Luckily for us now we're going to have OT7 releases, so happy that Ahyeon is back and doing well

Note how the single flower on a dead world is very much like Disney’s Wall-E! The rest of the video/song is Mulan looking Ruka’s daydream. Rora grabs our soul in her Jasmine green dress after Pharita’s first verse, and later as Rora is playing on the piano 🎹. Chiquita is captivating, especially in the opening scene as she looks into the camera and melts us, and Pharita’s angelic lyrics include “…let it go” (with it repeated as an echo) which is an homage to Disney’s Frozen, as is the stairway to heaven later in the video and Rami’s beautiful blond braided hair. Asa and Ruka both stun us walking on a pathway of stars which might be an homage to Disney’s Wish. Yes ballads typically don't have them singing along side a backing track like dance heavy songs typically have. Thats why you can hear them clearly change a few things, like how on the track Asa says "love" with a pronounced "F" kinda like "flove" but in the live she does not. Of course they still have effects like echo when needed but it is indeed live. I do hope you guys check out Twice because that means you can see the Killing Voice video, it's so good. I would of course also nominate groups like Bigbang to get some OG dudes in there and Red Velvet aswell mainly because I'm hooked on the new Red Velvet comeback, Aespa is also so good and interesting to go through simply because of how wild their MVs can be. Maybe one day Eric has experienced at least one group from each big label.

Would love to see Stray Kids here, since you're into rap, I think you'd really enjoy their music, they also have behind the scenes and making of, and since they're self produced they also have intro videos for each album where they talk about the ideas behind the themes and concepts covered etc. They also make references to movies and literature and games within their concepts, which I think is another thing you might find interesting.
one thing Janci said that i really hoped eric focus more on moving forward if they are watching more of kpop reactions is that "this is a job" as much as music is a form of self-expression, some people just want to work as a singer cause 1) they want to show off their skills in dancing, singing etc and don't want to have the ability to make they own music 2) they have other reasons of being idols like being an actor, or fame or even money and that's all valid reasons. I am really loving these kpop reactions with Eric as someone not a part of this community
oh also this structure of kpop helps people who can't perform live or in front of the camera a way to show off their talents as songwriters and choreographers without having to jump over the barrier of live performance
Melodic raping is commonly used in kpop, especially gg. One of the best melodic rap group is Blackpink especially Lisa. Checkout their older songs. One of my fav melodic rap "Playing with fire".
