It has been a few days since we all heard that Paul has passed away and like all of you I have left a comment on his last video. I feel moved to leave my last comment on this video, because the day that this video was published was a good day for me in a otherwise very hectic life. at that time I only had three things that gave me joy and comfort and they were a little dog, a little cat and Paul’s videos. My little dog passed away three years ago, and my little cat passed away in May of this year and now Paul has died. I think God that presently my Life is good, I finally have everything that I’ve always wanted. but I can’t help thinking of those days when this video was published. today, as I was drinking coffee with my wife, I couldn’t hold back and started crying. I told her I was very happy that I found her and thankful for everything that we have in our lives right now. To my little dog, Rosie, my little cat Zuzu and to Paul; I want to thank all of you for being there when I needed all of you the most and that I will see all of you again when I get to the other side!!!

My dad told me a story about the game bag he thought that the rabbit he just shot was dead and for he said for a hour or so it was then it all of a sudden it came alive and was flipping out in his coat lol he said it scared the shit out of him
I had a similar experience with a squirrel. Apparently the birdshot just knocked him out, put him in my game bag in the jacket. Me and my buddy were crossing over a tree bridge. It was at that moment the squirrel woke up, I didn't know what the heck was going on, and so I freaked out and fell in the water. The squirrel finally made his way out and jumped off my head to the bank. Lol ended up getting scratch up pretty good, a couple of stitches and a rabbi shot later I learned the valuable lesson of making sure they are in fact dead before I pick them up.
I’ve had a decapitated rabbit kick hard 45 minutes later (my dog leaves presents on the doorstep... I guess it’s the thought that counts right?), so anyways, a headless zombie rabbit kicking when I picked it up almost made me pee myself, that was almost slightly traumatic. So just an FYI for anyone reading, rabbits will suddenly convulse at random times after dead. You can make them drop and slide to a stop instantly with a headshot, but even if you wait 20 minutes (because it did freak me out previously, so I waited), when you pick them up like by the legs even though they didn’t so much as twitch before they will randomly kick hard and flail about (which got that thing tossed like an Olympic thrower like 40 ft in the air followed by my scream as a kid... then waited another 10 minutes and it did it a second time... yeah they just do that). They are dead, just don’t panic (you’ll totally panic, so by that I just mean don’t let people see you, haha!)
I foresee a run on E bay jackets in the next 60 minutes. Paul: if you tell folks your size(s) I bet fans would send you a truck load of whatever you want.
Last time I visited my folks, I found my game vest that I got when I was about 13. Made in USA, elastic shotshell holders in the pockets, old style camo pattern, game bag on the back. Simple and well-made, no obnoxious neon logos. It was loose on me when I was a kid, fits perfectly now. I went dove hunting with it last year and it worked great.

Awesome Paul. Another reason for wearing the same clothing was for filming. The characters could shoot any scene, at any time, because there was little to no wardrobe change. The reason was completely practical.

And then the duster coat that I found the actual cape on the shoulders that makes a duster coat a duster coat the cape wasn't that long so when it does rain outside and the water goes to whisk away partially runs down the lower small of your back. But you are correct sir we live in an age where were more fashion oriented then function oriented.

I have a very similar Sears jacket and matching "Brush Buster" pants with heavy vinyl on the front of the legs, great for walking through briars. A hunting jacket with handwarmer pockets and cartridge pockets is pretty standard in the UK. A game pocket not so much but to be honest you're not going to fit more than one pheasant or rabbit or a couple of woodpigeon in there anyway. You need a game bag for that or some string.

I grew up in Fl so I had the vest version of this jacket, and it was handed down to me by my father. My guess is that it was 30 years old when I got it back in the mid 70's. My wife knew how much I liked a KMart coat/jacket very similar to yours Paul. After that coat had to be discarded due to wear, years passed till she came home with a jacket in very good condition in correct design from Stillwater, OK second hand store. I was extremely glad to have such a jacket again!!!

A hunting jacket with handwarmer pockets and cartridge pockets is pretty standard in the UK. A game pocket not so much but to be honest you're not going to fit more than one pheasant or rabbit or a couple of woodpigeon in there anyway. You need a game bag for that or some string.
srspower. That pouch will hold everything you'd need it to. Where I'm at, we have a two pheasant per day limit as well as a five rabbit per day limit.
Well It's nowhere near enough for me, we have no limits for any vermin or game here in the UK.
Poachers pocket? They exist. In UK it's more waxed canvas or Tweed traditionally tho

I grew up in Fl so I had the vest version of this jacket, and it was handed down to me by my father. My guess is that it was 30 years old when I got it back in the mid 70's. The game bag back pouch saw many a dove, quail, squirrel, and even the occasional duck ;-) Never knew they were so expensive!!! Thanks for the show and tell sir !!!
Or you can just do it the hard way like I did. I have coats that are 45 years old that I purchased brand new. LOL.

My wife knew how much I liked a KMart coat/jacket very similar to yours Paul. After that coat had to be discarded due to wear, years passed till she came home with a jacket in very good condition in correct design from Stillwater, OK second hand store. I was extremely glad to have such a jacket again!!!
