Thank God I moved out of this place in 1999. St. Ann's school sucked. But thank you for the video and passing by the birthplace of the band BLACKENED SKY on Snowden Ave and "the square" on Croton Ave where I grew up.
Thank you. Brought back memories and took me places hadn't frequented that much. 4 decades ago gone but once in a while I travel through videos like this. 👍🏼
My family was from Ossining NY...Mom grew up on Denny St....I grew up on Susquehanna. Downtown was a great area to buy all kinds of foods...There was a great old Italian Deli that looked like places you would see in the city with huge rounds of cheeses hanging from the ceiling. The Italian Bakery was so wonderful!!!! Loved going to the old neighborhood where Mom and Dad had lived. Good memories..
I’m from OTown to I grew up on first Avenue went to Ossining high school class of 97 i’m so glad I grew up in Ossining the diversity is amazing I have friends from every nationality race and religion because I grew up in Ossining New York
Alot of the commercial buildings you see in the video across from the Post Office were built in the mid to late 1800s! They still look very similar to how they look in old photos. Ossining is alot bigger than you would think--25,000 plus residents.
Great video! I grew up in croton. my pop worked @ sing sing. He showed me where the images get their fingerprints taken. My baby brother is buried at the cemetery up the hill behind the Ossining bakery.
Thank you for sharing our beautiful town of Ossining!
I lives in NYC. And enjoy watching video of small town near NYC. I like Hudson valley.
