I opened the box and immediately felt defeated (I bought them online with no warranty or returns) they sounded AWFUL. My phone was apparently already on STRONG and you helped me fix it 😭🙌🏻
I wish there was more bass in the AirPods if apple collab with other companies like Sony for an example their 3d audio headphones is amazing and if those new sony EarPods works with iPhone and they sound exactly like the headphones i would probably use them more than apples
I mean, that’s the point of this setting, without it, the bass is too loud and you can’t hear all the sounds that a music contains, you should try moderate or if you are bass freak, just leave it as it were before
I recommend doing the custom audio setup for a few times until you find the best sound to your ears. Also, keep “Balanced Tone” checked and the slider on Slight. Anything above these settings makes the high frequencies too dominant which kills the bass. In this way, you can keep enjoying the bass with a clearer sound. After this setting, I can actually hear more details in the songs.
Didn’t do shit my AirPods got lower in volume right after cleaning and now I can’t fix it, I tried to reset it but now both of my AirPods won’t connect at the same time

Done this and even turned it to strong.. still absolutely no bass..
Try turning the EQ to increase bass
