It was very easy to grow in Baton Rouge La., near the north side of the base of a Holly tree between two buildings were some gaps between dwarf monkey grass. All we did was put potting soil in the gaps and sprinkle the seed. We would mist it with water occasionally. Perfect environment, and it grew for quite a while until we left town and forget about it. Excellent addition to lettuce. If you are around the 30 degree latitude line and have a north facing porch or kitchen window, give it a go.

I had high blood pressure and I’ve read that high Nitric Oxide has benefits including reducing blood pressure. Arugula is #2 plant with highest concentration of nitrates. #1 is red spinach but I’m concerned about Oxalates. It’s low in calories vs beetroots due to sugar content. I tried 1-2 cups of Arugula everyday with olive oil and ACV for 3 months. I have substantially cut back on meds after seeing improvements in blood pressure and am growing my own organic Arugula in my backyard. Arugula is extremely hardy and I can have multiple harvests from one planting (leave a bit of stem behind and it’ll grow back). I also got my morning wood even though I’m now in my 50’s. That was a shock and surprise.
I’ve been doing these “every thing bowls” for my meals after a workout, its easy, filling and nutritious. So it’s pretty much some type of meat, rice, diced avocado, cottage cheese, soy sauce, hot sauce and topped with raw arugula and spinach mix, you mix it all together into a delicious slop and down it. The great thing about it is you can change up the meats and it’s pretty much a different meal every time.
Best salad ever: arugula, lentils, roasted candied parsnip , roasted seeds and/or nuts (whatever kind u like) and a vinaigrette dressing.. So balmmmmmm!

Wild cod/wild salmon with an arugula salad, extra virgin olive oil, parmigiana slices, and Sauerkraut - the ultimate super meal.
I eat a lot of this in my salad once a week, mainly for the nutrients (OMAD everyday) but also for its peppery taste. Just wouldn’t be a salad without it.
You turned me on to arugula a month ago. I now quite literally eat a GIANT baby arugula 4-5 times a week. I love it.
Baby arugula
Super high-quality olive oil olive
High quality Parmesan

Occasionally 🥓 (okay, bacon most the time!)

I love arugula. One of my favorites. Will try growing it in my garden!
Most important things about arugula is CHLOROPHYLL! !
You don't need to buy expensive chlorophyll medicine, just make salad with aragula, garlic and basilic. 😉😀😊
I am growing arugula this year. It’s growing like a wheat, a lot. I don’t like the taste very much, but I’m making salad as much as I can. Thank you Dr.Berg 🙏🏻
Is this "rocket" in the UK? I've never seen arugula here.
YES. Rocket or roquette.
I have been eating arugula since childhood & I grown it in boxes on the deck. My mother was a fantastic cook & we ate the Mediterranean diet.
We call it “roka” n Turkey and it’s highly consumed within a salad or on its own alongside fish especially or at breakfast.
Right on spot Dr. B.... Arugula is amazing and dose exactly everything you mention...
Arugula is new to me since 2021 and I am stoke of its taste and benefits... It is an unsung hero of supporting Cellular Proficiency in every function of human cells... I confirm to the validity of your statements and witness tremendous benefits of this Super food attributes... At first taste I thought it bitter and very odd flavor. But now consider this leafy green my favorite and most beneficial leafy green I consume regularly... It is a must have. My diet is whole food organic sourced. Zero processed food. My body burns fat regularly... Evoo, Avocado Oil, Mct's etc... Longevity based...

btw. thanks for all your videos. i'm on Keto and lost 10 kg in about 8 weeks with such an ease. it's a bit terrifying how easy it is.
Oh yes, I grow my own Arugula, I love using it in my salads with other vegs I grow too.
TY for another awesome vid Dr.
Salty Cheese + little balsamic + any nuts you like walnut is the best + tomato + cucumber
I tried this for the very first time in Switzerland, had no idea what that was and I found it really delicious. Now it's a part of my every single meal. In INDIA we call it "Gargeer."
Grows like a weed. Marvellous stuff.
You are the reason why I eat aragula salads all the time now, had some with cucumbers, almond ginger sauce, pumpkin seeds and duck liver, I feel good😊 thatd my midnight snack😂
This is my go to salad. I love this the most.
I love it!
Lemon juice, salt, minced garlic, olive oil and some anchovies, throw it in blender! Love this dressing for arugula!!
اللَّهُــمَّ صَلِّ وَسَـــلِّمْ وَبَارِكْ على نَبِيِّنَـــا مُحمَّدﷺ
I eat arugula everyday with Evoo & fresh lemon juice! Love it!
Love arugula, it’s the only real veggie I crave all the time
I just had a PNCL procedure done and it was NOT FUN! Thanks to the MANY MANY kidney stones (some that were left behind, due to they have grown into my left kidney!)
I love arugula and I did not know it was low in oxalates , this is GREAT news!
Thank you Dr Berg
I love the stuff, I eat it twice a week. it's great with poached eggs and bacon.
It's also good with parmesan shavings and olives.
Thank you : )
I grow arugula year round and eat it at least 3x a week. I love it!
I love Dr. Berg. Not romantically of course but I just love what he is doing. He changed my life for the better. Big big thank you 😊
I really LIKE arugula . Thank you for doing this video. I am on keto and I wasn’t sure if aragula it’s on a ‘OK’ list
In germany we call it "Rucola". Love it! I often put one whole package of 100g in my salad. Very good to increase the volume of your meal as well.
I am absolutely obsessed with arugula. It is so delicious!! My favorite is in a salad with some lemon juice, olive oil, salt, avocado, and shaves of parmesan. Incredibly simple and so yummy. And good for you!! 🍋 🫒 🍃 🧀 🧂
