I’ll take eating organic arugula every day, with its “bite” over suffering the effects of cancer surgery, radiation, chemo, convalescence, the exorbitant costs of cancer treatment and the worry shouldered by everyone affected by cancer. Arugula is part of my routine diet. I think in addition to what you mentioned in the video, it also increases the blood flow in the body. This is just an assumption since it's also known to be the "wild Rocca", and Rocca does exactly that. Rocca, on the other hand, has more of a bitter and sweet taste to it, which, according to some of Dr. Berg's videos, helps with liver cleansing. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

My salad is arugula with avocado and that's it. Optionally I'll add thin slices of onion and tomato, but as you said, it doesn't need much in terms of flavor, it already has a lot of it.

I eat a lot of this in my salad once a week, mainly for the nutrients (OMAD everyday) but also for its peppery taste. Just wouldn’t be a salad without it.

It was very easy to grow in Baton Rouge La., near the north side of the base of a Holly tree between two buildings were some gaps between dwarf monkey grass. All we did was put potting soil in the gaps and sprinkle the seed. We would mist it with water occasionally. Perfect environment, and it grew for quite a while until we left town and forget about it. Excellent addition to lettuce. If you are around the 30 degree latitude line and have a north facing porch or kitchen window, give it a go.

    Baby arugula
    Super high-quality olive oil olive
    High quality Parmesan
    Organic avocado 🥑
Occasionally 🥓 (okay, bacon most the time!)
    S&P to taste 🤤

I had high blood pressure and I’ve read that high Nitric Oxide has benefits including reducing blood pressure. Arugula is #2 plant with highest concentration of nitrates. #1 is red spinach but I’m concerned about Oxalates. It’s low in calories vs beetroots due to sugar content. I tried 1-2 cups of Arugula everyday with olive oil and ACV for 3 months. I have substantially cut back on meds after seeing improvements in blood pressure and am growing my own organic Arugula in my backyard. Arugula is extremely hardy and I can have multiple harvests from one planting (leave a bit of stem behind and it’ll grow back). I also got my morning wood even though I’m now in my 50’s. That was a shock and surprise.

I’ve been doing these “every thing bowls” for my meals after a workout, its easy, filling and nutritious. So it’s pretty much some type of meat, rice, diced avocado, cottage cheese, soy sauce, hot sauce and topped with raw arugula and spinach mix, you mix it all together into a delicious slop and down it. The great thing about it is you can change up the meats and it’s pretty much a different meal every time.
