I didnt realise until I'd already watched the video, so obviously I then I had to rewatch the whole thing again.
Imagine putting subtitles on so people who don't speak the language can understand. Absolute genius. Im surprised nobody's thought of it before.

Any small nation can only appreciate the way Belgium took their destiny in their own hands, and built up this golden generation. It's kind of sad they didn't win a trophy in their prime, but surely it has been a kickstarter for belgian talent development. Amazing determination, inspiring other countries such as Norway, Switzerland, and my own native Denmark. International football is so much more exciting with more nations out there at least trying going for gold. Greetings! :)

Zeno gonna be a baller man I counted Jan call his name like 100x this game he's getting direct instructions and following them very well! Every good CB learns from a pro mentor. Attackers have their own flair and skill but a defender NEEDS to know how to read the game and learn from their seniors. Amazing! (Arsenal fan btw)

This is proper fighting SPIRIT ! Jan Vertonghen is an example to the rest of the Anderlecht team … fight for every ball ,never give up and learn from him ! This season has been disastrous but the tide can be turned bit by bit and hopefully this great club can get back to the top of Belgian football where it belongs in the next few years . Of course it’s going to take more time but Anderlecht like all big clubs with a rich history will return some day to being the number 1 club in the country ! Once Mauve always Mauve 💜⚽️💜

Super Jan! He always struck me as the man most likely to go into management and this excellent video provides further proof. Intelligent, experienced and a born leader. We were so blessed at Spurs to have him and Toby.

Een aanvoerder zoals een echt aanvoerder betaamt. Voor op in de strijd. Medespelers continu coachen en intensiteit brengen en afdwingen bij je medespelers. Heerlijk om 'onze' Jan te zien bij het paars wit van Anderlecht. Het wit rood wit had hem dit jaar ook niet misstaan

Always wondered if and when football was going to get player mics just like in the NBA. And this is sooo much more insight than what NBA mics offer. And you can almost always track at least the body language of basketball players in every scene on TV but that is not the case with football. In a big pitch and more people like in football I have always wanted to see how they communicated up close, this is amazing insight into a football pitch for a mere TV audience like me. And what a man, what a leader Verthongen is!

C'est quand même bien mieux de l'avoir lui comme capitaine qu'un gardien (que j'apprécie beaucoup) qui ,e fait pas vraiment partie du jeu, puis son expérience en clubs, en sélection nationale, c'est un leader naturel. Et pour son âge sa condition physique semble être optimale, j'espère qu'on pourra le garder encore une année
