@@maxistan2111 they're also a small team with 14,000 stadium capacity that have only recently came up from the lower leagues. I respect Eddie for how he's kept a team like this and their fans aspirations for Premier league football, and they are a decent mid table team.
Maxistan 2 considering they’ve stayed in the prem for 5 years now is pretty impressive considering the size of the club, budget, transfers etc. Don’t think anyone backed them to stay up in their first season.

Yeah I know, he's different gravy, his English sence of humour wouldn't go down well at foreign cosmopolitan latte drinking, property talking Spurs. A English bloke walking around Hotspur way wearing combat khaki and beige military clothing occasionally comparing a situation at the club to Goose Green in the Falklands or something similar, would go down like a Lead Balloon and would sh*t the life out of the owners of the club... Apparently when manager of Bournemouth he used to take the squad on a run through MOD Dartmoor Training Area.

Manchester United fan here... Eddie Howe is very very impressive. His attention detail & what he demands from his players is fantastic to watch. Bournemouth play some lovely football and that comes from the training ground, will be looking forward to see what Wilson, King and Brookes do this year
His man management and understanding of what to say to motivate players seems very good. He has a very good balance of being approachable yet respected.

I've always rated Eddie Howe. A young English manner who is very humble, tells you how it is and a very good coach. A future England manager for sure. He's also Bournemouth through and through and look at how well respected he is. Gives encouragement when needed and tells his players when he's not happy! The perfect mix to have. Nice to see him saying hi to the fans watching the session and kudos for him knowing their names so they must be regulars.

Watched this and really came away from it that eddie Howe is a very good tactical coach , when he’s having a go at the players about movement and the counter attacking , he seems like he knows exactly how to create a dangerous team and studied aspects of the game .. brilliant watch

Very rarely does shouting at a player make them play better. Positive constructive encouragement from Eddie. Good manager, destined for bigger things.
I remember watching Bournemouth play in league 1 in 2011 and the development of this club since then has been amazing. Eddie Howe is pound-for-pound one of the best managers in the league, to take the club with the smallest ground in the league to consistent survival is a proud feat. Best of luck for the new season from an Arsenal fan.
