you forgot to mention that in Godzilla vs Biollante, Godzilla's own atomic breath was fired back at him 20k times stronger and he didn't even blink at it
That's true.
Imagine they reflected Gamara's fireball back gamara would die💀
Because scaling sucks
@@rattheeternal7658skill issue tbh
Power levels are bullshit
Being a huge fan of both.
Realistically, Gamera would absolutely get stomped.
The fact that Gamera and his foes perceive missiles as a threat that must be dodged/avoided kind of speaks for itself.
Problem is, that was G1, gamera got much stronger from then on, especially since the missiles did no damage to him since hasagi didn't take damage from them, note any damage done to a guardian is reflected onto their priestess.
Well that sounds a lot more interesting I'm gonna be honest.
I mean think about it
The world we live in if these Kaijus in Gamera universe existed
It would be much easier to deal with rather than Godzilla’s Kaijus
Most of Goji and his enemies are completely immune to humans’s most advanced technologies 💀
Godzilla would solo Gamera’s universe, while Gamera would be in over his head.
You could literally make Godzilla fight ALL Gameras, AT ONCE, and he would still win, just from how absurd the power difference is
@@lunaitor-uq9hz I know, poor Gamera is outclassed in incarnations and strength, but just for fun, I'll show you how each Gamera incarnation could square up hopelessly against each Godzilla incarnation.

@@Mirus2000 I gotta say, you were overall pretty generous with Gamera there
He's mountain in base with a multi cont attack, goji can be wanked to multi solar, he's cooked
Plus it's the fact that godzillas healing factor is exponentially faster and more prominent than gameras, one keeps on fighting with otherwise serious wounds and the other took a day to heal after a single fight
There are a lot of stylistic differences between Gamera and Godzilla that make these matchups impossible.
Gamera faces typically faster or more agile opponents than Godzilla, which also gets coupled with the fact that the directors were never afraid to damage the Gamera suit, or hurt gamera severely. Gamera ruitinely gets gored, stabbed, shot, and even dismembered. While godzilla directors opt for a flashy graphic to display power without usually injuring godzilla visibly. With some notable exceptions like turning him into a blood fountain once 👀
This particular difference confounds match ups because not only do both universes operate on different physics for their kaiju, it also makes it hard to claim "Gamera is immune to nukes" when gamera is not immune to being dismembered.
So basically the whole situation is "a fighter jet and a tank switch their places". The tank now has to be able to take down vehicles that fly way faster than him and the jet has to be able to endure a lot of damage.
That just means they're stronger than a nuke.
@@gregormcscrungus9727 "just stronger than a nuke" lol
@@alexanderrahl7034 And yet you have no trouble acting like Godzilla's opponents are able to nuke a whole star system
@@gregormcscrungus9727 ... are you talking to me? Or the version of me you've made up that does that? 🤣
Most people forgets that the Super X weapon platform used a special anti-nuclear weapon system. Designed solely to wreck Godzilla and ran out really quickly after the first battle.
So while I do believe Gamera would get wrecked in Heisei Godzilla I do think he'd manage Super X if nothing else. Biollante is questionable. While a piece of her Scale, or Godzilla's depending on which path you accept. That was a single cell that managed. With Godzilla's healing factor I could see why it'd work.
The major problems comes in when Gamera deals with Mecha-G and beyond. Honestly in my opinion that is where he stops. Even if Gamera could recognize and adapt to Biollante there is zero chance he handles something literally built to kill the G-man.
Godzilla on the other hand wouldn't pause with Gyaos. Those guys are like a smaller Rodan. You saw how much Godzilla smacked him around. Now Legion is the kicker. Will Godzilla recognize the danger here? I don't think so. Gamera only knew due to his connection with the Heisei Gamera's Mana set-up. The first flower would go off wiping that town from existence. The second one would never get off though. Godzilla would devastate it. Against Legion itself? That's a bit of a risky choice. In pure power Godzilla wrecks it, but we also know its not power based with that guy. Legion generated enough power to easily blast off chunks of Gamera. Then there is the Hive itself. Hundreds of thousands of little versions. This would be the more difficult issue for the G-man, but he'd abuse the Nuclear Pulse ability. He'd have to. I won't even bring up the last one. Yeah its strong, but it was like an Anti-Gamera thing. So Godzilla could easily smash his way through that one.
Also gamers in the hesie films he always adapts to scenarios so I think he would get a lot stronger in that universe
@@bethsevier3767if he knows that they’re coming for his ass or else he would become turtle soup
I'd think gamera can take mechagodzilla specifically cuz it was designed to go against godzilla but was specifically weak to high temperatures, something gamera is more than capable of, personally I'd say he stops at space godzilla though it would be fun seeing how space g and gamera's methods of absorbing energy from the planet would look.
@@reginaldb.pensworth2545 The thing is the original Heisei Mechagodzilla had an artificial outer coating that had to be removed thanks to Rodan dying for it to be taken out. That actually allowed the Heisei Mecha-G to survive several direct impacts of Godzilla's breath. So without the sacrificial Rodan I don't think Gamera will take him out.
@@jonathanwoodruff6741 thing is the outer coating melted, it clearly has a limit on how much heat it can endure, reason I say it's heat based and less specifically focused on fire rodan's sacrifice is how the coat started melting after rodans absorbtion, with godzilla emitting the heat that melted off super mechaG's coating.
I like the duality between the Twitter/X comments and the RUclips comments on how Gamera would do in Godzilla's universe
Don't tell me that twitter actually think gamera stands a chance
@@wassimtegheri1059 trust me,twitter can be much worse than you think.
@@Frotheru_The_Dragon i know twitter can be brain-dead i just assumed that was only a small amount
im mostly surprised at how powerful G54 is, i never expected that
Actually, Gamera did not survive the Sendai explosion. He was for all intents and purposes in the story dead as a doornail. He was brought back to life and was done so again in the first movie Guardian of the Universe where he was literally recreated from scratch after a few gian oil tankers exploded. So, city level no maybe small town level.
Super X did not kill Godzilla, it basically put him to sleep cause afterward you can still see movement from Godzilla while he is laying against the building including seeing his chest move indicating breathing.
he's not dead in the sendai explosion he's alive if given a time he will heal but the thing is he don't really have enough time in the movie because there's still an alien army needed to be stop, so he chooses to absorb too much mana on earth in order to heal fast, but at cost of cutting his connection to humanity.
@@orochi2723 That's not what happened. According to the movie itself, Gamera is dead. Now, Mana is used to revive him just like what happened in the first film where he was literally reformed from the flames. He died twice.
@@michaellilly965 TF ARE YOU SAYING? YOU'RE MAKING YOUR OWN ASSUMPTION YOU'RE INSANE WHAT IM SAYING IS ACCORDING TO MOVIE TOO ACCORDING TO WRITER DIRECTOR ETC YOU CAN WATCH INTERVIEW LOL
@@orochi2723Seriously? Calling me insane for stating my opinion and what I had noticed from the movie itself. Neither statement I said is an assumption they are from the movies seen. The newspaper articles in the film all declare Gamera dead. If I have to go outside the movie to find what the movie itself declares contradictory, then the film was not made well take Rise of Skywalker; just a bad movie.
heisei Gamera is designed to adapt and scale to threats due to being designed as a bioweapon which is why he was destroying the hyper gyaos like they where nothing in gamera 3 despite them being more powerful than the gyaos' in the first movie. His body acts like the borg from startrek more than godzilla's healing factor so unless you take him out straight away he'd power creep fast. This the canonical reason why the suit designs changed from movie to movie fyi.
Godzilla was already overpowering MechaG in a head to head fight earlier in the film, but after the Rodan buff he gets, simply being in the vicinity of Godzilla was melting MechaG's diamond-plated armor away, it was melting the atmosphere away. Then he melted MechaG with a single blast, while the beam only gave MechaG power and did no damage earlier in the film. That red spiral beam goes through 2 to 3 bigger buffs in the next two films too. And Godzilla's weakest blue atomic ray did massive visible damage to Biollante, Ghidorah and Battra beforehand, so yeah Gamera arguably wouldn't get past even the Mothra/Battra tag-team even with the in-universe movie logic imo, any kind of scaling aside. And no, Rebirth Gamera doesn't demolish the Godzlla universe either, lmao.
Something I'd like to mention as well was the sendai explosion happened after gamera was brutalized by mother legion while gamera was trying to protect the citizens, tldr gamera took that while he was already at deaths door and took the brunt of it to reduce the damage.
Another correction it wasn't his self destruct that destroyed Atlantis it was ultimate plasma, this wasn't another guardian it was gamera himself, hesei gamera doesn't even have the self destruct ability that one solely belongs to avant gamera.
Additionally the ziggra scaling would work for hesei since hesei gamera fought ziggra during his weaker state earlier on in G1.
Note gamera evolves and grows more durable with each passing movie, shown with G1 him being sliced by a regular gyoas super sonic scalpel, but a hyper gyoas couldn't even scratch him in G3.
Lastly for the super x, it wouldn't scale to godzilla, he casually low diffed it later and the super x only nearly killed him cuz of a specific missile that absorbed radiation which poisoned him.
Bravo for actually using hard data , even those it just shows how ridiculous the attack levels actually are. You get the idea that if they belch, the planet explodes.😮
Godzilla absolutely takes over while Gamera is turned into soup and never heard from again.
Godzilla: would only struggle with iris and would prob super slam gyaos and the legion
Gamera: dies as soon as biollante comes in
Gamera wouldn't attack Super X so there would be no pieces of skin around to make Biollante meaning Biollante wouldn't exist
he wouodnt struggle with iris
12:56 really interesting how none of these characters would exist if goji and gamera swapped verses, it would be sick to see what gamera dna versions of biollante and space godzilla would look like, and i might not have my kaiju lore right, but mechagodzilla and destoroyah would prolly not even exist since gamera protects humans
I'd say Destoroyah would still exist because he came into existence to the result of the oxygen Destroyer that was used in the original 1954 Godzilla film.
As much as I’d love to see it, the thought that Gamera could even hold a candle to Destoroyah is insane. Like yeah he would fight his hardest and go all out but Destoroyah is just the Kaiju equivalent to Doomsday, homie cannot be defeated by anything less than a power-boosted Godzilla who was stated to be able to destroy the Earth if he erupted and Destoroyah was STILL handing him his ass. Like we just gonna ignore the fact that Destoroyah was going toe-to-toe with the strongest version of Heisei Godzilla and was most likely going to kill him if not for human intervention? I mean think about it, if Godzilla wasn’t in meltdown mode, Destoroyah would’ve killed his son, killed him, and ended his bloodline and the Heisei franchise singlehandedly. Gamera is my guy but he gets fucking brutalized by Destoroyah, not to mention the ass whoopings he would take from Space Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, King Ghidorah, and Biollante. Shit, even Battra would probably hand him an L too.
Real.
I hate how many people forget that Destoroyah OVERPOWERED Burning.
Wow, if people are saying Destroyah has bad heat resistance didn't watch the movie based on how he died the conclusion you should get is that he's massively vulnerable to low temps cause the weapons that killed him were freeze rays.
You got some good content. I’ve been looking for kaiju stuff thank you

Dude looks at all the research and even references other experts (Deathbattle) massive respect from one detail searcher to another👍
Some really great analysis! I hate to be nitpicky, but the explosion at Sendai actually killed Gamera. During a montage scene of different newspapers being printed, one of the headlines states that Gamera was completely carbonized. Though I don't think this completely invalidates the information you provided on his overall power scaling.
The Super X didn’t kill Godzilla. It only temporarily knocked him out. The film confirms he wasn’t dead. And before the lightning storm, one of the characters noticed Godzilla’s body twitching and stated that he is waking up soon.
But other than that, I like how you downplayed Heisei Godzilla to multi-solar system just to make a point. Because we all know he is FAR past that level. Low complex multiversal level still stomps.
He's basically the male reptile version of Mothra.
For the next power scaling video could you do Legendary Godzilla and Heisei Godzilla due to the debate of who is stronger
I think I know a guy who’s doing that but that debate is complete spite and when I get MV on the channel I wanna have him in a matchup completely one sided
My two cents: excess radiation killed Heisei Godzilla yet gave MV Godzilla a temporary power boost without harming him in any way.
That’s assuming they can absorb the same levels of power if someone absorbs a star and can’t handle it does that mean he is weaker than someone that absorbs a C4 and handles it
Nice vid bro
Can you do a vid scaling all the different versions of Gigan?
Destroyah own cells where being bombarded by both heat from godzilla and cold from the weapons from the army. It is stated that Destroyah can't handle extreme cold and heat which is why it dies ince its wings were frozen. The fluctuation of temperatures destabilize it
They need to make new Gamera movies! Not animated real ones! I’m shocked they haven’t with the monster verse success
My issue with rebirth apart from the human animation were the out of place f-bombs when nothing else called for that kind of rating.
Like it just felt edgy for edgy’s sake and was the reason that I couldn’t show the show to my parents or little cousins who love giant monsters

W video as usual 🔥🔥
short answer, If we're looking at these monsters when their at their absolute best and most powerful? The people in Gamera's universe? once Godzilla got through walking through and over whatever the present "threat" was they'd be hoping and praying that he'd just leave and go back into the water. Which is always the main concern in each and every Godzilla film even when he's the "hero". They hope that the fight wears him out so that he has to go back into the water to recover so that he doesn't tromp through the city for a while.
As for Gamera in Godzilla's universe? Yeah Godzilla's worse enemies can withstand multiple blasts from Godzilla's atomic breath. Others? are nimble enough to dodge it. Combined with the fact that most in turn easily out weigh Gamera? They'd be eating turtle soup by the end of the day and the people in Godzilla's universe would be hoping that Godzilla would soon come back!
ruclips.net/video/Q0aDtTTHr9U/видео.html There is a reason why Godzilla is called the KING of the monsters.
However I will end my statement with this. As I've stated other times. In a film where these two monsters actually clash. Ya wanna know who wins? To quote the late and great Stanlee Marvel himself. "Whoever the writers WANT to win"
Just a suggestion you should do a power scaling for all the gamera rebirth kaiju to end all these things about who is the strongest of them
I had no idea space Godzilla was High universal and the fact that hasiai Godzilla killed this guy makes him high Universal to.
So,you never knew of godzilla?
There is no version of Godzilla that wouldn't solo the Gamera verse.
No, the 1998 version doesn't count.
Minus One and Shin get slammed
As well as the DC Crossover which isn't canon to the Monsterverse and takes place in a random DC verse cuz there's contradictions to it being the mainline verse, so that featless Godzilla also gets fodderized
@@brothsipper-h5oyou're right shin would get destroyed before he's able to to get to his most powerful evolution and minus one (according to Kaiju chronic) loses to the weakest version of gamera (rebirth version) so he will just get destroyed

Even the military is a threat to Gamera in the Heisei films, they are much more realistic in that way. Meanwhile, the weakest Godzilla's from both the Showa and Heisei are just tanking that shit constantly, and then some. It's no contest, lol. Still, I'd love to see a legit, official modern match-up between these two, we are long overdue for this.

Godzilla Wins!!!!!!!
Gamera would need a massive power upgrade like the Monsterverse Kong in order to even stay alive in the Hesei Godzilla verse. Battra LARVA fought Godzilla to a stand still no sold all his atomic breath attacks and survived falling into a volcanic crevice with Godzilla.
It's literally just cause of the Gamera Netflix series and people being biased towards it and Godzilla being "overrated/overwanked"... It's REALLY annoying
Same thing usually happens to characters like Superman or the Hulk, just cause they're known for being so powerful, they usually get downplayed against a more underrated opponent...
its more like "ooh a new monster so it is strongest!"
All the data you've compiled is neat, but Gamera wouldn't last a round against Godzilla. There is no way.
He said in the vid gamera loses to the super x
Mine was a general reply, because the comparison has come up for years. Kinda like MCU vs DC fans. I just throw my two cents in.
Pretty much EVERY version of godzilla (except maybeeee zilla) will literally turn this version of Gamera into turtle soup
Zilla and zilla junior shouldn't be able to and -1 can't be killed by gamera but gamera won't die from -1 either if we're using highballs. Legendary which thematically fits the best is bassically on equal footing with hyperballed gamera but if we hyperball legendary too then gamera is getting cooked.
Shin and minus one are cooked they ain't winning unless shin gets to his strongest form
Okay, I'm actually gonna think about this on my own before I watch the video, just to compare how we view it. I need something to distract myself from The Horrors.
As a generalization, Heisei Gamera kaiju are pretty explicitly less durable than Heisei Toho ones - Gamera and Legion both get their shit wrecked by conventional weapons, and while Gyaos never engages the JSDF directly(Given that GotU is all about the government refusing to recognize her as the more dangerous kaiju, and thus trying to help her kill Gamera for much of its runtime), I don't really get the sense that she's any more durable than Gammy himself. At most, she's on par with Gamera, minus the shell.
Irys is in a similar boat, given that the only things that ever hit them are attacks that can't really be compared to anything because Gamera never used them on anything else. But I don't get the sense that Irys is exactly leagues above Legion in terms of toughness.
By contrast, Gamera kaiju's attack powers are probably more-or-less on par with those of Toho kaiju. They cause similar sized explosions, they do similar damage to the terrain, and they absolutely rip their victims apart.
In terms of mobility, Gamera kaiju have the edge. None of them are all that fast on land, but they're all noticeably more mobile in the air(And can all fly, come to think of it) and generally more flexible. So by and large, we would go from two Mighty Glaciers clashing to a battle between a Mighty Glacier and a Fragile Speedster, both of which have more or less the same destructive potential.
Now, on a character-by-character, film-by-film basis... well, here's where it gets fun, because we get to think about how they interact!
The Return of Gamera, I think, flat out would not happen. There are no Gyaos. They're off harassing Goji in another universe. Does Gamera even awaken? I was never clear on whether he awoke because he sensed the Gyaos, or because conditions had become right to stir the Gyaos, and so he woke with them, but either way, I don't see him coming ashore save but maybe to refuel - something he can do in a lot of different ways. Without the urgency of "Oh no, the Gyaos are at it again!" he's probably not going to be so desperate as to feed off of uranium ships. He might just huff some volcanoes out at sea.
Biollante is where the plot begins. And it's here that we have to acknowledge more than just the kaiju's abilities.
Now, for the sake of keeping the premise, we'll assume Godzilla *did* exist in this universe, so there are G-cells and oxygen destroyers to create Biollante and her girl-posse.
While Heisei Gamera isn't quite as chummy as his Showa counterpart, he's still a pretty nice guy. He prioritizes the Earth over human lives, but he still tries to save people. And even when he's cut off from humanity, he still makes a point to protect human children. But I'm not gonna go so far as to say he and Biollante would never fight - Movies are as movies do. But I don't think anyone will argue that our good friend Miki Saegusa wouldn't probably have a lot more success communicating with Gamera than she did with Godzilla. She would almost certainly become our version of Akani for this plot. And Miki has a lot to say about Biollante.
While Biollante is confused and prone to lashing out, Erica is still an innocent in all this. While Gamera might have an initial confrontation with her rose form - perhaps this being what spurs him into action - and thus might still lead to her mutating into her final form, he would ultimately try to save her, rather than destroy her. And Biollante is fairly reactionary in nature, so I think it would end with a peaceful resolution. Biollante goes into space, Erica is at peace, we still have G-cells in orbit for later.
But with regards to the inevitable confrontation? I think Biollante stomps Gamera for the first few rounds. She's like Legion in a lot of ways, save we trade the EM cannon for acid sprays. And as implied above, I think the acid's going to hurt Gamera a lot more than it did Godzilla - though Gammy won't have any ANEB in his system for the acid to agitate.
This brings us to King Ghidorah. I think the plot can persists kindasorta as normal, with lingering fears about Gamera being what pushes Japan to aid the futurians. Maybe we get an adventure where they go back to ancient Atlantis and nearly get eaten by Gyaos or something. But one way or another, Gamera confronts Heisei King Ghidorah.
Now, Heisei KG isn't quite the juggernaut his Showa counterpart was, but he still has three rapid fire energy beams that'll hurt Gamera a lot more than they did Godzilla. On top of that, he can fly and seems to be pretty maneuverable. I think he lays Gamera out in the initial fight, goes on his rampage, and Gamera comes back with a new strategy, as normal. Gamera learns to hide inside his shell to endure the gravity barrage and resorts to ramming King Ghidorah with his shell. Eventually, he blasts off a head, sends KG into retreat, and shoots him down, not that differently from Godzilla.
And Gamera tries to leave humanity alone, so we just don't get Mecha King Ghidorah. No one's going to buy him as an existential threat that we need to revive our previous existential threat to deal with.
This brings us to Mothra and Battra. And this is where the monkey wrench hits the gears, because I think Mothra and Gamera would be largely on the same page. Battra, less so, and that would be our headlining fight. Only Battra and Mothra resolved their differences pretty quickly, so I kinda have a hard time imagining it wouldn't go the same for Gamera. They ALL want to protect the planet, Gamera and Mothra are just more reluctant to throw humanity under the bus to do it. I think it ends with Battra departing, with a stern warning of "If they don't clean up their act, we're going to have another, much less pleasant talk."
Now... Here comes the hard one. Mechagodzilla. Do I buy that Japan would be paranoid enough about Gamera to build machines to try and stop him? Sure. But Mechagodzilla relies on Mecha-King Ghidorah's corpse to engineer, and I don't see MKG becoming a thing in this timeline. I think what happens is that Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla II becomes Gamera vs Rodan. And the more I think about THAT, the more it interests me.
We've got three big things: An opponent who looks an AWFUL lot like Gamera's sworn nemesis, a child in danger, and a baby kaiju who does not seem to be a threat to anyone. I think we would get a severe misunderstanding battle, in which Rodan is determined to save his little sister from the humans, while Gamera is determined to save the humans from an angry older brother kaiju. Meanwhile, we've got a baby who doesn't know either of these giants, and wants to stay with her adopted human mom.
This is another story I imagine ultimately being resolved peacefully. Rodan's interest is 100% in Baby's wellbeing, and Gamera's got no beef with the child. I like to think that they form a compromise, and return Baby to the island with Rodan, but have an outpost in place to help take care of her and study her growth. And this gives Gamera something he has never had before: An allied kaiju.
I mean, there IS also the tragic "aggressor kaiju refuses to stand down and is tragically killed for the greater good" type ending. But I dunno. Rodan was knocked out, but not exactly merc'd by Godzilla's atomic breath. I don't see Gamera's fireballs - which I feel are of similar strength - doing much different. I think this ends with Gamera beating Rodan into submission, Miki pleading with him not to kill Rodan, and him reluctantly agreeing, as he recognizes Rodan is motivated by familial love for a child, not by bottomless hunger like Gyaos.
THIS brings us to the big two!
As before, we assume Biollante creates Spacegodzilla by accident, Spacegodzilla comes to Earth for some unknown reason and traps Baby. And again, while Heisei Gamera isn't quite the "I will never kill an immature ANYTHING" friend to all children that his Showa incarnation was, I just do not see him sitting there and doing nothing while child - even a child kaiju - is terrorized by a horror from space. Gamera steps in.
Now, Spacegodzilla is generally regarded as one of Godzilla's strongest opponents. But I'm not so sure I agree. His beam weapon is kinda middling in strength, with its main asset being its high rate of fire. That's something that'll hurt Gamera for sure, but by this point it'll ALSO be something he's faced before, from King Ghidorah. But that's not all. Because Spacegodzilla isn't just going up against a compassionate stranger protecting a child. Rodan's not going to take too kindly to his sister getting bullied either. Spacegodzilla gets buzzed by two MUCH faster opponents. Gamera realizes he never thought he'd die fighting beside a reddish brown, flying reptile.
Now, just because I think Spacegodzilla is massively overblown does not make him a pushover. A beam that was able to make Godzilla hesitate is going to bring Gamera to his knees after a few hits. And it could eventually overwhelm Rodan as well. But Gamera never stays down, and we all know how Rodan responds to being beamed into submission when his sister is in danger. SG may win the first round, same as in the movie, but the movie still ends with Rodan pecking out his crystals and Gamera hammering him with fireballs and ripping into him... which I'm not sure would be enough to kill Spacegodzilla. Because Gamera doesn't have the red spiral ray. It's possible that he still endures, still holds his own, even as he struggles to hurt them. Could be he eventually wears Rodan down and Gamera is on his last legs, against a crippled Spacegodzilla who simply will not stay down.
And I believe that THIS is where the mana beam comes in. That Gamera is pushed to the brink, realizing that this monster will bounce back if not put down right away. And so, he makes the decision to draw from the planet's mana pool - he hasn't met a single Gyaos so far, it might be okay - and unloads it into Spacegodzilla. And Spacegodzilla, although undeniably more durable than Legion, DOES still overload and explode from the unholy amounts of energy being released.
This brings us to the big girl herself. Destoroyah. Who we will assume still exists for the purpose of this exercise.
Destoroyah's plot unfolds largely the same way. Junior's in her moody teenage phase. Rodan has stepped back to let her breathe. Gamera's recovering from all that shit. I'm not sure if he distanced himself from humanity due to being worn down from the Gyaos, or from all the mana he had to use up, but either way, he's got no Gyaos to chase around, so he's probably just vibing for now. Junior runs into Destoroyah. Has her fight. Rodan senses this and steps in. The fireworks fly. Destoroyah emerges in her final form and kills Junior in the same way as the movie - and Rodan's not tanky enough to last long against her.
Gamera senses the threat and moves in.
And sadly, I'm not so sure this story has a happy ending. Destoroyah tanks multiple consecutive hits from a souped up version of the red spiral ray - it rips her up, sure, but she always recovers from it. I don't know that Gammy has another mana beam in him. I don't know that he's willing to put the planet through that. I think Destoroyah would absolutely wreck Gamera. Her micro oxygen beam knocked Godzilla around. Gamera's going to suffer a lot worse from it. The horn katana.... I admit, is a little hard for me to quantify. Some say it cut Godzilla in half and only his regeneration saved him. I don't know if I buy that - I kinda took it to just be it phasing through his flesh and cutting it up irregularly. But It's going to hurt Gamera.
Now... here is where it gets interesting. Because I already established that Battra is still around. In the Godzilla series, she died, and Mothra had to be the one to go out and stop the asteroid. But in this timeline, Battra survives. So she can do her job. Meaning Mothra is also still around. An Heisei Mothra is pretty poltiically aware - she did send the shobijin to warn Miki about Spacegodzilla. I think she'll have some words for Destoroyah too.
Only, are Rodan, Gamera and Mothra enough to defeat Destororoyah? Offhand, I would say no, going by what their abilities seem to be. But then again, going by his abilities, I wouldn't think Gamera could defeat a hundred hyper gyaos at once. But he did. I think this is this timeline's equivalent to that scene. The part where the audience is asked to have faith in Gamera. Maybe Rodan and Mothra both die. Maybe they pull the same stunts that they're both known for. Maybe Gamera gets his own equivalent to the red spiral ray that he never had in his film. Maybe he gets one last mana beam, from the allies that he's never had in any prior or subsequent incarnation.
It'd be costly. But I like to think he'd win.
Now, on the opposite universe, we have Godzilla enduring the Gamera trilogy. Which, thankfully for my hand, only has three movies to appreciate.
Godzilla has no real interest in the Gyaos, and Heisei Godzilla is *frustratingly* apolitical and adverse to having motivation. So I do not believe he's going to do much to prevent the Gyaos sisters from becoming super Gyaos. So we're starting him off against a triple thread of lightning-bruisers.
Now, how well super Gyaos can tank Gamera's fireballs is hard to parse. The only one that ever hit her was after a MASSIVE fiery power-up, so I can't really presume how much more powerful than usual the final killing blow was. Hyper-Gyaos can take three fireballs before flying to pieces, but I also kinda get the vibe that hyper gyaos is a bit weaker than super Gyaos, trading raw power for agility and efficiency.
On the flipside, I'm gonna put Gyaos' sonic lance at a similar power to Spacegodzilla's corona beam - wrecks Gamera, but needs a lot of sustained fire to do much to Godzilla... of course, three Gyaos is going to result in exactly that.
I think this might result in Godzilla getting a taste of the Gamera strategy - Get knocked down, come back with a new approach in the second round.
Since Rodan isn't here to sacrifice himself to supercharge Godzilla, Goji's stuck with his basic breath weapon. But he's not adverse to spamming it, it has a pretty good range, and he has proven he's more than capable of shooting down flying opponents. I'm guessing this would be a battle of attrition, where he picks off the Gyaos triplets one by one. He's not as quick nor as proactive as Gamera, but he's both tougher and has a much quicker healing factor, so he bounces back quicker.
Legion, is... well, as hard as it is for me to say, kinda fucked. Legion is an unstoppable juggernaut... for Gamera. She has a shield that can delete his fireballs, her electromagnetic cannon is about on par with Showa Mechagodzilla's eyebeams, and she has some nasty melee attacks, to say nothing of her soldier swarm. Which, altogether, would make her a B-tier Heisei Godzilla kaiju.
Godzilla has the atomic pulse from very early on, so he can counter the swarm easily, with or without human intervention. And while I'm not really sure how well the shield would handle a continuous beam versus a quick projectile, I think there's no doubt that Godzilla would get a lucky sweep and wind up removing some limbs pretty early on. He doesn't really need the red spiral ray. His normal breath is enough to merc' mama Legion. Gamera kaiju are not durable, and while that's honestly pretty cool for the sake of drama, it does put them at a disadvantage against a juggernaut like Godzilla.
Funnily enough, it seems like Gyaos and Legion are reversed in terms of difficulty for Godzilla.
Next, we get to Irys. I don't think any of us will object to Ayana having a vengeful hatred for Godzilla over Gamera, given his habits, and thus following that side of the story fairly closely. Meanwhile, Godzilla is tangling with swarms of hyper Gyaos, which, as we've established, would probably be kind of a handful for him. but he's also not Gamera, so he has less incentive to exterminate them or pick fights with them. But the feeling might not be mutual.
Irys, as I suggested at the top, is difficult to quantify. I THINK their sonic lances are stronger than Gyaos', since they do more damage to Gamera. And of course, they can fly fast and high, and probably aren't afraid to hang back and bombard Godzilla from above - though Heisei Godzilla's also no stranger to shooting down opponents far above him. We might find ourselves with a long range firefight here.
But Irys is also a vampiric glutton, and Godzilla's a cornucopia of precious energy. I'm not sure Irys would be able to resist moving in close to get a taste. And Godzilla's beam is a sustained stream, so smacking it aside like Gamera's fireballs isn't really an option.
I think Godzilla stands more of a chance against Irys than Gamera does against Destoroyah. At least, going from a purely feat-based Death Battle-style analysis. I think Irys lays down enough fire to put Godzilla on the ropes that they get cocky and come in for a taste. Ayana merges with them, they get their power boost, and have Godzilla pinned, only to get some atomic fire point blank as Godzilla's regeneration causes him to bounce back. I don't think Irys could overwhelm that. I think this story ends with Irys in flames, same as it did with Gamera, and Godzilla confronting a flock of a hundred hyper Gyaos. Which, uh... I think he might just step back from.
So, I guess altogether, I would say that both Gamera and Godzilla would be able to handle one another's universes. It'd be a different set of stories. For Gamera, a hopeless one-monster struggle against impossible odds turns into a loner realizing that he has friends. For Godzilla, it's a very annoying week where he fails to learn anything and just kinda fucks off.
And I just remembered that the Gyaos swarm was the direct result of Gamera using the mana cannon, which Godzilla can't do, so it would never awaken.
So I guess Godzilla just defeats Irys, calls it a day and doesn't learn anything.
based on actual fighting factors, gamera could maybe take biollante, if he’s smart enough to use his defenses and time fireballs well
Biollante delegates gameras verse.
@@fillit8839 what happens when he flies
@@jacobsonstudiosgoji none of his powerballs would work, so either gamera eventually gets caught, of Flys away, biollante can be scaled to 5d to 11 d.
@@fillit8839 the hell does dimensions have to do with a spinny turtle
@jacobsonstudiosgoji dimensions has to do with biollante, she can be scaled to 11 d which is infinitely higher then 10 d, gamera is 3d.
What would happen if we drop Godzilla 1998, his offspring and his oldest son from the animated series on Skull Island and see how each of them survive.
1. How would Godzilla 1998 survive
2. How would the babies survive(on their own or in small packs & with and without parent)
3. How would Godzilla from the animated series survive
I think that at the rate they birth and grow skull island is gone in what a month but some survive like magma turtle
Hey there may be no chance of gamera doing this but what if just to make it fair gamera plus all the mana possible for gamera to hold at once can we do that to make me feel better about one of my favorite kaijus
Aye bro. Mind if i ask how would heisei godzilla-burning heisei godzilla deal with ultraman kaijus? Since burning godzilla at max is infinite 5d and beyond, how would he deal with a lot of them?
one shot
@ThatManConzilla Ultraman got black eyes from Godzilla at the Showa era. Galaxy level, but can't handle cars thrown at them at lil child speed
@ThatManConzilla yeah, but Toho and Tsuburaya made a hypothetical battle and Ultras got fucked by Godzilla and Ghidorah in their fights.
@ThatManConzilla Ultraman only get's as high as 4D while Heisei godzilla has More consistent 5D scaling and Burning Godzilla is infinite 5D.
@ThatManConzilla We are talking about ultraman, Also Heisei godzilla has a boundless statement so cope.
I would've thought Gamera would do ok in the context of fighting foes like Biolantte or Destroyah due to his affinity for fire, excellent speed, and his intelligence (retreat and formulate strategy). I think his greatest hurdles would be the Mechas, Ghidorah, Space Goji, and maybe even Rodan (being a fire affinity flier). Godzilla stomps the Gamera foes with no need for 2nd rounds, but Gamera wouldn't be a terrible guardian for Godzilla's world.
I think Dest would still win becouse the temperature needs to be,like,INSANE.
Atleast nuke+ lvl. Which is hotter than the sun.
How about Godzilla vs Ultraman? That could be a good video. The first Ultraman vs Showa Godzilla or the first Godzilla.
@ThatManConzilla i know but I wanna see these two in a video. Two iconic Tokusatsu figure in a battle. That is a dream come true.
@ThatManConzillaYou would be surprised.....
You’d be surprised they had multiple Crossovers
@@suethafung7461 yeah
@ThatManConzilla Ultraman only got to insane scaling after multiple series. In the original run Ultraman is not that strong.
Heisei godzilla sometimes gets downplayed alot lol
Gamera is my favorite and what I like about him is even though he takes so much punishment he gets back up and he beats a lot of ass also, I really don’t understand how people think he is a rip off of Godzilla when he is completely different
People think he is a ripoff because he is a Kaiju, even though the premise of the movies alone is different Gman was the monster while Gamera was a protector fighting the monster.
I just want to see big turtle vs big space chicken
What about video named "Godzilla vs Iris?" Or "Strongest enemy-kaiju of both series?"
You mean Iris vs Destoroyah ? Then Destoroyah clapped because he is stronger than Space godzilla who star-solar systems atleast in low-end and multi galaxy at best in high-end
Would Kamen Rider be interesting to scale.
3:59 I am glad this was mentioned in the video 👍
If you like op af verses, shure
Comparing gamera and godzilla in power, is like comparing spiderman and superman
mach 3500? 2,684,500 MPH? I won't deny the transition is fast for gamera and Gaos getting that high, but I think it might be a bit of movie magic.
You forgot one simple fact... Gamera has heard no damn bell
Love to see that but there would probably be fights where godzilla do better than gamera and vice versa and maybe worst but depends on the era of both them and monsters they are fighting
Even though Gamera feat wise is not close to most Godzilla verses, I still love Gamera and he is the only non-Toho Kaiju I would accept beating Godzilla in a crossover
In my honest opinion, I genuinely doubt Zigras red lasers were capable of causing 18 magnitude earthquakes. We see some of the lasers hit the ocean floor. Where's the massive amounts of immediate decimation that should show up the moment that happens?
Probably didn’t have enough cash to show it it was really expensive to show damage but then in Kaiju movies
Budget reasons.
Respectfully they both will not win any of their fights. Godzilla breath against Baragon would be op, but against legion would drain him, Gamera would cut a few of Big G enemies in half but not any that can grab him.
How come you take statements for godzilla at face value but not for gamera?
@Tok-co9op I didn't say he doesn't win I'm just stating a bias that he has
@Tok-co9opSolar System at least, in the film itself it is mentioned that Godzilla's cells survived a supernova explosion, This is reinforced in the Super Complete Works guide which uses information from the film's production and information described by Toho citing that the cell actually tanks the explosion.
Gamera might want to defeat the other monsters while they are still in their first form or hes dead 😅
I don't disagree with anything. The only thing I don't like about scaling is that if Gamera was the Hero character in Godzilla's universe. Meaning he had Godzilla's role, he'd pretty obviously get a power boost.
That's why Power Scaling isn't for everybody since it is just straight numbers, doesn't matter if you're the hero if you're numbers aren't high enough then you lose.
@ElHarmonyV I'm a way bigger Godzilla fan either way. Gamera has a great trilogy of films in the 90s, I think. Those were on youtube, might still be. He's cool, but he'd absolutely get wrecked without a power boost or some serious plot armor.
What Space Godzilla is W H A T!
