  • Practice this Somatic Movement Flow to increase your flexibility and strength in your lower back, hips and legs. It is great for people who enjoy walking, running, hiking, and biking.
We used a yoga mat for this video, but it is recommended that you not limit yourself to a small area. Using a blanket or towel on a firm surface would better.

I just like to mention for whoever sees this, that it is not just a form of yoga. That it's a neuroscience-based technique and not an exercise. And it should not be approached like exercise. I say this, because if I had not known about somatic movement before watching this maybe I would think that it was meant to be strenuous in someway or strengthening. But it is not. It is about the brain. So make sure everybody to be heavy and to be late. To be relaxed.
Move in a way that seems to come from the center and makes you feel fluids and floaty. And if you don't know how to get there or what that even feels like then just keep trying, but don't try too hard! Bring in love and bring in awareness.🥰

Thank you James for this practice this morning. It felt like a reset. My mind feels much calmer now, almost as if the busy, planning part of my mind has taken a step back and there is a much more peaceful presence available to me now. With gratitude, Melissa

So Glad I found your program. This is the second week of the practice. Thank You, I am in Florida. Any certifications program close by. Yoga has been in my life since the 80's after an injury. I can relate to this practice as a healing practice also. It is so important for me. At 68 I began my teaching as a certified Yoga instructor. Thank you again. Your program is giving me much needed awareness and relief.

I was on board until you stopped doing the movements. I don’t need to look at you sitting still. The camera should have focused on one of your students if you stop moving with us.
