With the Christmas season Home Free's Christmas music should not be missed. Pentatonix too, "Mary Did You Know" is stunningly beautiful, for example. And Home Free, Auld Lang Syne for the new year. I pulled it up on the Roku last new year and folks in our group, who didn't know Home Free, were astonished. We then spent almost an hour watching Home Free videos, and imbibing a bit, to welcome the new year.

I know "right" Tim and Avi are amazing, 3 Octaves+ from Bass to Baritone to Tenor. Simply awesome. And I love watching your reactions to all these great songs you're reacting to. Keep it up, love your channel.
Both Tim and Avi are magnificent bass' and the others make this song marvelous and ah-mazing!!
When Avi left Pentatonix he took part of the soul of the group with him. Avi has a 4 octave range and one of the smoothest deep basses you will ever hear. Tim Foust of HF has a 5 octave range and he demonstrates his lowest note at the end. If you listen to the Sing Off performance of it you will really hear the 1st time he unleashed that note and the reaction from the judges is amazing. I love your reaction. Your eyes are so expressive and it was truly fun to watch you.

I don't know if Gitana understands how good her energetic, earnest reactions are compared to most, not that there aren't other good reactors out there. People enjoy seeing others introduced to new music, while being introduced to new music themselves...something of an online phenomenon which Gitana does exceptionally. HF and PTX both rely on extraordinary beatboxers and talented basses with incredible ranges to unleash fantastic lead voices. Both groups put teamwork first and can blend like few others.
I've been waiting for you to do some more Home Free reactions. They are really something. I'm so glad you enjoyed them. Avi (Avee) does a cameo in another one of their videos, because the A Capella community is relatively small and they all support each other. It's pretty cool.

You might enjoy seeing how Home Free created their cover of Ring of Fire during The Sing Off competition, which includes their rendition (absent Avi) and the reaction of the judges. In fact you might eventually enjoy reacting to all of Home Free's competition performances (Home Free with The Filharmonics especially).
Home Free and the Filharmonics 'battle' on the Sing Off is one of the most amazing competitions between two acapella groups saved to video. Both groups are fantastically strong and the collaboration between the two is mind boggling. A beat boxing battle as well?!?! Oh Yeah....

Home Frees song. "Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On" is probably their biggest commercial success and since you enjoy them I would call it a must react song. It's a mashup of those two songs Thinking Out Loud and Let's Get It On. Pay very close attention to the very beginning and listen to the musical instrument one of them is making with his mouth. I am willing to bet this song will instantly become your Home Free favorite....love your reactions, tons of your reactions in my likes folder so I can laugh over and over again!

I loved watching your reaction... because I knew what was coming (giggle). I called them the winner after the very first night of NBCs "The Sing Off" simply for the very reason you reacted the way you did. They are brilliantly amazing. And they aren't 'new' by any stretch. They spent many, many years on the county fair circuit perfecting this craft.
Let me say that this is my favorite reaction of yours that I've seen so far. Like you I am a big fan of Johnny Cash and was very apprehensive about hearing someone do a cover of his song. That being said I also Love Home free as well as the Pentatonix . Knowing what I know of them I figured that they would not let me down with this cover, and they didn't. Not only was it a cover of Johnny Cash I feel that it was a tribute to him. I'm sure that both Johnny as well as June would approve. Love your channel and thanks for sharing. I love these guys. Ive been to two concerts since 1995 one was Sir Elton John and the other was Home Free last year. They are great.

I love Johnny Cash and their cover was absolutely superb. You will love everything they do. Their vocals are like nothing I've ever heard. I have tickets to a live show coming in August. It was postponed in April due to Covid19. The guy you thought was from Pentatonix is actually one of the Home Free originals. I think the one with the knit cap and beard was the one you were thinking of.

Fabulous reaction! So glad you did another Home Free (and hopefully many, many more)! This was the first one of theirs I heard and have been a Deep Fried Home Fry ever since. Suggestions are endless; everything they do is marvelous. For beautiful, haunting harmonies "How Great Thou Art", "Auld Lang Syne", and "Go Rest High On That Mountain", "I Can't Outrun You", certainly jump to mind. "Do You Hear What I Hear" is my favorite for showcasing their harmonic and rhythmic talents (arranged by Adam Rupp, their cofounder and beatboxer). Their recent things are done from home ("Down To The Honky Tonk", "Meet Me In The Middle", and a few more) are just as amazing (if not moreso since they are done remotely). Peace and blessings to you both!

I have watched you and Donovan react to this, all the way through at least 5 times. I love the light of discovery in both your eyes as Home Free sang this song, with Avi Kaplan. It is wonderful. By now, the 'Home Fries' (Home Free fans) have made themselves known. I love seeing other people have the same reaction as I did, the first time I heard Home Free, with Tim's bass voice, Adam's amazing beat boxing, and all of the rest of the gang.
I'd suggest Elvira, Maybe, Can't Stop the Feeling, and any of their Christmas songs (I Holy Night, Do you hear what I hear..)

Home Free. Voice Play. Pentatonix. You honestly cannot miss any of these groups. Avi (the guest Bass in the group) is originally from Pentatonix. He went off to do solo work after years with the group. The other bass is Tim Foust. His voice is equally amazing.

A song I used to be ambivalent about was Kenny Rogers, Children go where I send thee. Then he and Home Free did it together. One great song to my ears now. Always did like Kenny.
Glad you and Donovan loved it so much!! It really is a great cover. And they do a slightly different version for their performance on the sing off (obviously because Avi (pronounced Ah-vee) wasn't on it with them). Some of my favourite Home Free music videos are 'Summer in the Country' - an original, but not written by any of the guys, 'Some Girls Do' - cover of Sawyer Brown song, 'Woman Amen/Female' - mashup cover of Dierks Bently & Keith Urban songs, 'Friends in Low Places' - cover of Garth Brooks song & 'Meet in the Middle' - cover of Diamond Rio song. Since quarantine started the guys have put out a Quarantine Editions music video every other friday, with a Home Away from Home series video on the fridays in between. Definitely should check out all of that stuff, all the best!

If you haven't listened to home fries Man of Constant Sorrow, it is an absolute must! The visuals in the video on point and the sounds they make during it do not sound human.
Home Free is awesome! The first really deep base you heard is Avi Kaplan (formerly Pentatonix) and the last deep base at the end is Tim Faust the base for Home Free! Both amazing talents!
