This is just a partial cvt fluid change. The total fluid in the cvt trans is 8 quarts. 4 of those quarts are in the torque converter which was not changed thus mixing new fluid with old fluid. Best to use a pressurized fluid change of 10 to 12 quarts to do a proper complete fluid change.

You have to open the 14mm .He poured in 4 qts. Full is 3.5qts. With the car running and warmed up a little you open it up and it will chug out a little and then a thin stream. It basically self levels.Then you put it back in

i have nissan xtrail 2014 petrol 2.0. i just drained oil without changing filter and added 4l ns3. should i must need to level check? i cant because i havent the tool lol. or is it ok just with 4l oil? i can remove oil from top with medical syreng. if i need minus how many ml i need to remove.? pls help.
What is temperature of transmission when you drain from overflow bolt? Why no change of filter in transmission pan? Should the fluid change not be done twice as per Nissan spec?
With out removing the oil fan you need only 4 liters,if you remove the oil fan you need 6 liters then level it while the engine is running if you have scan tool check the oil temp to 45 degree before checking the level if no scan tool warm up the engine 10 to 15 minutes then check the level...

Thank you for showing how to/where to remove the paper filter. There are almost no videos that include this step.

2017 Nissan Rogue only has one in line filter. The one this gentlemen is showing. 2015 and under they also have a Pan filter in the transmission.

Your best bet is to call up the dealer in parts department act like your buying it ul get more attention

On the paper filter was it hard to get the top bolt back in ? Would a swivel and socket work on it ?
