My all time favorite Incubus song! Love Mike’s guitar playing in this, as it’s such a difficult song to play & his pedal board is just amazing! Brandon in this song clearly shows us that he can sing, scream, & rap really well! That funky bass playing is cool & the drumming rocks! An excellent chorus! Everything about this song rocks so hard! It’s a song one can easily headbang to. \m/👍
This is how I can tell when a band is extremely well-coordinated, passionate and dedicated: When each member instinctively knows the precise tempo everyone heard in their heads as they were writing each piece, but when slowing them down for live performances and such- they keep unintentionally creeping back up to that original tempo and having to remind themselves to slow down BUT at the same time it's so subtle and fluid that unless you're looking for it, it's hardly noticeable. It shows how naturally tuned they are to their music, and that in itself shows that there was/is emotion behind the writing. I've known people that hear this in other bands and think, "Oh, they can't stay on rhythm," or, "They're out of sync." Maybe it's just me, but there's a distinct difference between a band that's out of sync, and a band that's diverse enough to tune their songs to the environment yet still passionate enough to keep hitting that original pace and energy. Incubus is one of my favorite bands of all time to this day, I can't get enough of their music- it's all SO well written and performed.
I love how Dirk just looks at Jose during the beginning when he's on the splash and hi hats and China. Dirk just looks at him like "you had to, didn't ya?😊" I miss that camaraderie on stage. It's so fun to mess with your bandmates 😂
Elevenmunky & Eatsoup3 This is my all time favorite Incubus song! \m/ Yes, S.C.I.E.N.C.E. was a great album! I completely respect both of you & your opinions, but for me, I think the better album however is Make Yourself. \m/
One of the best from the best concert ever....nice to see Dirk, not only does he play so well he moves too and looks the part, that Warwick is beautiful.....the band is not so good without him ,Bens a fine player ....but...
As I have gotten older, I've learned to appreciate the fact that bands evolve; RHCP is a great example. The Incubus I fell in love with and imo the best Incubus is the Fungus Amongus, S.C.I.E.N.C.E, Make Yourself (the non over-played singles tracks) and even Morning View. Honestly, they lost me after that. Still can't wait to see them later this summer with 311. Thanks for uploading these great performances

+Dave Robles I agree with this completely, Incubus for me fell off after "Make Yourself" they had a sound like no other band. The closest a band has come to sounding like Incubus I am gonna go out on a limb and say 311, I am 34 and I can say I have watched all my favorite bands go on to become complete sellouts but it's not for me to judge I understand that bands need to evolve to remain relevant to a newer fan base and I am not hating rather I am stating an opinion and honestly I just really miss the S.C.I.E.N.C.E/ Make Yourself version of Incubus.
+SystemOfaVictim Incubus has never made a bad record like ever. Anyone I have ever met that says something like they stopped being good after Make Yourself or something is usually a tool who thinks weed will save the world and never stopped listening to nu metal. They've always been a great band, and they've always reinvented themselves with each release which is a great trait in a band. Trust me, if you actually expand yourself musically (and I mean really, not just "I like everything except pop and country" or something) you'll find each album has its strengths.
