Your video helped me a lot I took your learnings and adapted to me I used a black matt aluminum spray and I divided the mold in 3 parts to be easier to move it around It did work well Thanks!
Very nice mod and demo! Definitely a good idea to keep junk out. Looks like one of your neighbors had a good night (and a bad morning)!! Poor garage door! Keep up the good videos man!!
Yeah rob I didn't noticed it, but my radiators has some decent size damage from rocks getting in there so this should help without breaking the bank. Thanks for watching now man!
This is great for street driving, but if you track your car, it will block enough airflow to start overheating. I did something similar, except I bought the metal diamond mesh at Home Depot that has larger holes. I also did it while I had the bumper off because i was installing the center radiator anyway.
That's exactly how I see it. If you love doing something then keep doing it! Especially if you can make a career out of it, that's what I'm hoping to do after college.
Turned out nice, good job. I didn't realize how small the openings were on the 987. The openings on my 981 were huge, that's why I had a easier time, but the end result is the same, saving $ for other parts of a good thing. Forgot to mention that I have a sound video for the Remus exhaust that I hope will help you decide. There are probably better exhaust sound videos out there, but just wanted to let you know. Have a great Labor Day weekend!
Yea definitely smaller then the 981, and way harder to do then the 911 video I saw. That looked super easy with those big openings. Yes the whole thing wasn't more than $15, thanks for letting me know about this mod.
Lol yes good call next I do something like I'll for sure remember that...my hands were so cut up from the first try at this, thanks for watching the video man!
It takes about half an hour to remove the bumper and you will have to clean out the old leaves SO TAKE OF THE BUMPER - its easy - Jut two difficult philips head screws behind the wheel cover are difficult
Richard Simmons yeah it wasn't only procedural stuff I was worried about. It was time during the day to do it. With a 1-2 year old running around and not being equipped properly it makes it hard for me
4:40 of course it's debadged, same dude that cuts in and out of traffic with no turn signal too I bet. So many tools in e9x it makes me cringe. Great video though!! Looks amazing with the mesh installed!
Wow, you're doing well then. Mine is 2007 and the fogs look nothing like yours! Must be your better weather as I'm in the UK. Good work! Have watched a fair few of your vids, keep it up.
Cool shortcut but you need to pull the front bumper off at least once a year to get the crud out! You will ruin the radiators and condenser front the debris decay and cause massive corrosion
Great idea and nice video, question - how do you snake the zip ties through the mesh? The angles are so tight and you cannot get your hand on the other side to guide it through the holes on the return
Hey man great question, meant to talk about this originally but forgot to, but what I did was pre bend the zip ties and pre bent them very drastically and it ended up working just like I wanted
Nice one 👍 Could not believe how much crap was down my vents in front of the radiators when I had a proper look once I had bought my Cayman Enough to fill a small bucket! A lot wetter in the uk so was all mulched up black leaves.... nasty I’m going to do this once I’ve cleaned it out again Thanks man 👍
yeah definitely worth the time. Its not that hard or expensive to do either so I highly recommend it! Thank you for takin the time to watch my video! Appreciate it!
XD I like that you branched off from VG And are doing what you enjoy Doing sorry but I thought everyone in the guild with Rumbly would be doing that for most of their time
Dude...believe it or not...I just did this exact mod with plastic rain gutter mesh from Home Depot...but I chose to remove the bumper because I had lots of time...then I put the front end back together and went for a test drive to be sure everything was secure and this happened... ruclips.net/video/fV45DNW4tKI/видео.html . Destroyed my front bumper and all the work I just finished. Oh well....life happens. Good video!

That's really clever without front bumper removal.
It was a little harder to do but worth it

Lol the wife's face when she realized the camera in the fridge
yeah she wasn't expecting it
4:17 lol. Buy some examination gloves at Autozone or O'Reilly's they're a black pair and are much thicker to prevent that from happenning.
Lol yes good call next I do something like I'll for sure remember that...my hands were so cut up from the first try at this, thanks for watching the video man!

B. Von Schnauser haha definitely, thanks for checking out my video
What's the name of that mesh? Or what brand.. is it like a gutter guard?
Marlyn Mendez yeah gutter guard is the metal kind and chicken fence is the plastic one (which I recommend it's easier to work with)
looks so good!
Salvador Parada thanks dude it’s a very subtle small change but makes a difference and it’s not too hard to do honestly
Nice video!

Yo man do a gt3 conversion bumper, what's your Instagram
I considered doing that, but my car isn't fast enough yet to be worthy of the GT3 bumper haha. My Instagram is UCTeeth10, thanks for watching bro!
What are you doing?....Remove the bumper for better result...but a good idea.
If I was brave enough to do that back then I would have. But I was just learning to work on the car no prior experience
Finding anything in Home Depot is such a pain.
Dude it sucks takes forever, how's the front grill on your 911?
UCTeeth My grill's full of leaves as usual. cleaned it out once already. I'll have to try this method.
