Thanks for this how-to video. I've been thinking of painting my grills black to give my speed yellow car the "design edition" or "sport" look. Your explanation of "subframe" is clear and resonable within the context of this how-to video, but my understanding is that a "sub frame" usually means a metal structural piece bolted to the frame that cradles major components such as the engine or transmission.

Just came across your channel Cliff. You have the best Cayman (987.2) DIY out there. Purchased my 987.2 last year and now maintenance period is coming fast. Your Videos have done me well so far! Gained a sub today.
Great quality and explanation. Keep up the good work! 👍

Is the purpose of this to increase airflow? To do so, do you remove something once you have these grills out? Thanks great video.

Really helps by doing the install first. Excellent video. I’d like to paint mine black I think it helps showcase their existence.

Just want I needed. My PPF wrap is lifting around the edges on one of my side grills. With this video I can take care of it myself.

Good afternoon Cliff, excuse me, I hope you could help me since I have a Porsche Cayman 987 coupe model 2014 gen2 and I want to remove the internal plastics from the side vents lobe, I have seen a lot but not in that specific model. Do you think it is a good choice or would I have a future problem in my car? I am waiting for your help atte luis

good stuff. a little plastic tabs are prone to popping off but at least Porsche uses softer plastic than the cheap brittle shit you find in a Nissan.
