  • Look at the bright tail paint on F-16s lining up for action during Red Flag 23-2 at Nellis AFB, Las Vegas. The second Red Flag exercise at Nellis this year honed the skills of a variety of military pilots and crewmembers over the nearby rugged Nevada training ranges. Watch as a B-1B flight crew and ground crew (from the 28th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and aircrew from the 37th Bomb Squadron) prepare for a launch during Red Flag.

Great post as usual Mr. Johnsen! Love the slow motion at the end! In a couple of months it will be Memorial Day once again, and a time we should honor those who gave the full last measure of sacrifice for our nation. In a time when our freedoms seem to be impinged upon more and more, let us not forget the service of our brave men and women who serve, have served, and will serve to keep us free. Red Flag is a great example of that dedication to our freedom. Let not the blood of past sacrifice for the freedom of the world be in vain. God Bless you and your family! Thanks again for everything you do! God Bless the USA!!!

Yes, Memorial Day and Veterans Day are always times for reflection on the sacrifices people have made on our behalf.

The crewman is from the 37th Bomb Squadron “Tigers” and their colors are black & yellow, which is why his name tag is black & yellow, and is wearing yellow sunglasses.
