Hello there, thanks for watching! I'd love to hear about your art style. What do you like about it the most, and how are you planning to make it even better?
What I like most about my art style is the way I draw the eyes. They literally carry the piece. I plan to improve my art style by incorporating more movement, emotion, and gestures. I also want to make cohesive backgrounds and add props so there won't be so much negative space.
That's awesome! 😊 It's exciting to hear about your plans for improvement, adding movement, emotion, and gestures can bring so much life to your art.
I love watching you evolve Cora. Purple hair is majestic!
Thank you, decolemon7131! I'm glad you're enjoying the changes, and I'm glad you like the purple hair too! 😄
I love both styles! The 2023 version is very bold and gives off an almost sultry, mysterious kind of vibe while the 2024 version gives a more open and friendly vibe!
I have a very manga art style that is inspired from the late 90's early 2000's era (Sailor moon, Inu-Yasha etc.) I love the personality the manga brings out which to me, gets lost in anime. Like the faces get a bit rounder and things are overall toned down not only in style, but also in story. That is at least for what I read and remember.
I am trying to implement more into my works, like incorporating backgrounds that make the character(s) make more sense when you look at them. I also want to incorporate more design in the clothes they wear, and try to play with adding eye shadow to my characters. Another thing I will work on is hair styles, like adding interesting braids in combination with loose hair, or spiked hair from different angles.
I got big plans, and hopefully I'll get to tackle them with one drawing at a time!
Hey vikkidoodle8121! Glad you enjoy both styles. Your take on manga's unique looks and your plans to spice up your art with backgrounds, clothing designs, and hairstyles sound awesome! One drawing at a time, you got this! Can't wait to see your creativity unfold! Thanks for sharing! 😊
The older artstyle looks more like a display piece and the newer art-style looks more like a freeze-frame. Like we just caught her in motion, if that makes sense. Shrinking down the iris makes a huge difference, adds a ton of life to her eyes.
I appreciate your insight on the art styles. I'm glad you noticed the details like the iris size, it's those little tweaks that can make a big difference😊
love it
Cute. Also I adore both kinds of line art and will switch between the two ways of doing it. Both are fun.
Thank you CreativaArtly! 🥰 It's awesome that you enjoy both types of line art. Variety keeps things interesting, right?!
I love your new details and the way you coloured her hair it's beautiful! ❤
At the moment I'm trying to create my own style and will try to improve the way I draw the nose.
I'm thrilled you enjoyed the new details and hair color. Best of luck with developing your own style! Take your time experimenting, and don't hesitate to try various techniques.
this is so cute, I love it ☺☺☺
😊 Thanks a bunch for the sweet words!
I love both of your pieces. I love watching your videos because I always learn from them. I can't wait to see what art pieces you come up with this year. I am planning on working on my hair styles and my faces. I can make the rest of the body but I feel like I can improve on my hair and faces.
Thanks a bunch, lois3740! I'm happy to hear you love both pieces and find my videos helpful. Best of luck with your art journey this year! Focusing on hairstyles and faces is a great idea. If you ever need tips or have questions, feel free to ask. Excited to see your progress too!
Honestly both styles look so pretty and definitely can tell that you drew them 🥰 For my style I do keep figuring new ways to make it look prettier, but I always go back to my old ways just because I enjoy the process more that way 😅 but definitely btanched out from only using alcohol markers to other mediums as well 👏🏼
Thank you so much! I appreciate your kind words about both styles. It's great that you're continually exploring and evolving your artistic approach😄!
woww, i thought the first one already looked beautiful (especially the hair), but the changes in the second drawing just really elevate it imo! i feel like it is more unique and has more personality if that makes sense. great job, cant wait to see how you improve in the future! also, loving these recurring fantasy characters so much💜
😊 I'm thrilled you liked the first one, and I appreciate your kind words on the changes in the second drawing. It means a lot that you see more personality in it!💜💜
The eyes do look wider in the second picture and the light highlight looks like part of her natural hair. The first looks like the hair was dyed that color. Not sure if I explained that well. I can see lighter line work in the second drawing. 🤗❤️👍🏽💯
It's been 4 years since your last hair tutorial which has helped me than just copying refrence I love how you did the curls this year its been something ive been trying to advice. A update long tutorial would be nice and a skintone one I love the look of both of the linearts it has a different vibe the black is kinda mysterious, comic like and edgy versus the brighter one that gives a soft, vibrant and pop of color. You have improved so much and I love the antennas and I cant wait for more ❤😂🎉.
Thank you! I'll definitely consider an update and a skintone tutorial. I appreciate your insights on the lineart, and I'm so glad you like the antennas! ❤️😊
Ahhh you're so good ♥
Thank you PaulienShuffle! I appreciate your kind words! 😊
so nice ❤️
Thank you! 😊
Maybe she can hide her antennas in her hair because she can move them, camouflage them with her hair, or shapeshift them 🤔
i have way too many art styles, cute and semi realistic, cartoon, scribbles, abstract painting lol 😝you cant really tell a lot of my art is me, i need to focus on one or 2 to refine
Your art style is amazing and beautiful this trust the process I believe in you if you make a manga or webtoon I will read it
