Can you help my mom in Indiana? She’s all alone and her house has become unlivable. There’s a mice problem. She struggles with depression and is facing legal problems due to multiple substance abuse infractions. Her mental health is poor and her home reflects it. I want to help her but it makes me so upset and sick to be in the house for more than 2 hours.. we are trying to find a company to come clean but finances are rough for her since her and my dads divorce and now she’s having to pay for a lawyer. She’s not a bad person but she’s living like she’s not worth life. It breaks my heart.

It is so easy to find used appliances for nearly nothing. I dont live in Florida but I have an oven, fridge and freezer I am storing. I am sure people would donate used good working appliances if you let people know. Many churches have these and or will find them for this mom daughter. A pest control company will get rid of the roaches permanently if you just call. I am sure with all the support you get and all the YT money, you can afford to hire a person that can set these things up or the home will go back to a garbage can really quickly. I know foster care isn't likely the answer in this particular situation, but the mother must to be held accountable. She is unable to provide safe and healthy living conditions for her child. There needs to be a social worker that comes and holds the mother accountable, and who can provide resources to help the child.

@@Katerinoulam1 See, I would have called CPS immediately upon arrival. The girl was literally unable to open the front door. How could Auri not see from the get-go how dangerous the living conditions were for a child? She likely doesn't want to become involved in the process of reporting them, but if she is filming for views and accolades of encouragement, she should do what is right in these situations instead of worrying about cleaning. Yes, she is volunteering to clean, but there is an obligation to children in these situations, and Auri is way too concerned about filming than doing what really needs to be done. She has looked the other way many many times when children have been living in conditions like these and it's not right. A beautifully clean house is an absolute gift, but the adults in these homes are unable to provide safe and healthy living conditions for their children, and they need long term help.

I could try to clean my whole house but my dad tried before many times and everytime it never gets finished. idk what to do tbh and its really sad but the only person who knows is my bsf. im putting this on the internet bc idk what to do though and if i call cps my parents my lose everything i dont know. im about to be 17 soon and then 18 so ill probably be able to go.

You can't take care of the whole house alone if your family is adding to the problem. And for the bathroom and kitchen, do a little bit at a time. And move out as soon as you can, because the adults will try to make you their caregiver and that's not right, you're so young! Try to take out as much trash as you can and do not be afraid to throw stuff that you know you won’t use, it will just keep piling up in the end causing your house to look like its messier than it should be. Its a lot better if you could convince both your parents and you could clean up just the trashes for a day where you guys wouldn’t be as busy… I’m sorry you had to go through this at such a young age and has to bear such responsibilities 😢 But if you really want a change, something has to be done, whether its asking for help or doing it little by little. Focus on one thing only. Those trashes are the reason rodents and roaches are living there so start with that first! Then you can move on to clean the sink, tables, toilet, anywhere that you know you will frequently use. If you managed to clean just one of these many things, I assure you that you can go beyond that, though it is easier said than done. However, the result would be worth more once you’ve succeeded! Have you tried talking about these struggles to your parents…? These could also be the first step to tackle these problems…

For anyone dealing with an infestation of this magnitude:
    1) First, clean your place up to this degree! We cant all be Auri but hopefully her cleaning tips and poaitive attitude will help inspire ppl to get started 💛
    2) Get a powerful insecticide from a pest control place. Home depot bug sprays and raid wont do. An insecticide like Rotox or Temprid for inside or outside use. One bottle is about 40$ but its an annual supply as you dilute the product. Also, buy 3 bottle of Gentrol (10$ per ampoule). Mix the insecticide per direction use and empty one full bottle of gentrol into the insecticide. After the deep cleaning, spray along all baseboards on the inside and outside of the house, inside kitchen cabinets (remove all food products, dishware, and countertop appliances). Put boric acid powder behind the refrigerator, stove, toilet, and bathroom cabinets. Reapply after mopping. This process is repeated monthly!
    3) remove all food and water source. Everything goes in plastic bins, ziploc bags, and the fridge. there will be dead roaches everywhere. Do not let open water anywhere.
    4) repeat monthly. Spray the kitchen and bathroom biweekly and the whole house monthly. Within six months, if you keep food put away, the roaches should be exterminated.
Theres hope if you cant afford professional pest extermination!

Hi Auri! I noticed when you are cleaning the kitchen sink, they have a garbage disposal- I believe this is mostly an American thing, so you may not have seen one before. It looks clogged, but there should be a switch on the wall by the sink to turn it on and help unclog it. Run the water while it is on to wash it all down the drain. It makes a loud noise, but breaks down small bits of food to go down the drain. If it is working, it will unclog and drain quickly! Just make sure there isn’t any non-food items in there, like silverware or bottle caps, etc.

And be careful if you put your hand down there because there are sharp blades ! Never put your hands anywhere near it when it’s on and be mindful that the switch won’t get accidentally turned on or anything when you’re cleaning in the drain or there’s no food stuff in the drain

Speaking of fire…thats the first thing I thought of when I saw all that stuff piled on top of the stove. Those stove knobs are easy to get bumped and turned on accidentally. I put my ninja foodie on top of the stove one time and someone pushed it all the way back to where the knobs are. It bumped the knob and turned the burner on. Started to smell something burning and realized what happened. The bottom of my foodie was burned pretty bad. Now I am super observant and careful about stove knobs and make sure nothing can bump into them.

im not exaggerating when i say this, but my house looks just like the one in the video. I’m 16 and yes there are roaches and rats in the house. It’s comforting to know other ppl are in the same situation as me bc been living like this since i was like 6-7. My mom just doesn’t like to clean and i wish smbdy could help us clean but my dad is embarrassed of it and everytime we attempt to clean, it never finishes. My dad didn’t grow up like that & my ma grew up with struggles and she’s never been too clean tbh. I like watching these vids bc i feel like it could help me maybe clean my whole house myself which idk if that’ll be impossible but i can try. but yes its ppl in these situations sadly and im scared to call cps bc i dont want my parents to be sad. i can still cook & stuff on my stove but i have no oven or microwave and rodents are all over my kitchen and our drawers are so old and rusty that we don’t keep stuff in em so silverware is out in the open and i have to clean it everytime i eat knowing a rat probably ran over it.

It is not an unfamiliar situation to me either... I know it can be tough, and it is nice that you care about your family and your home.
I used to get yelled at when I tried to clean something that was not supposed to be cleaned (or if I was doing it while parents were away and didn't finish it when they came back).
But my tip is to start the cleaning from inside the cabinets and under furniture! Those areas are the dirtiest, but stay the cleanest for a long time.
You are also strong for knowing it's not the end of life, you do have a home, and it is only a matter of time and effort ❤ even if not for long, it is a healing process indeed, that can make you feel proud 💪

@@xlayamaya_77x Are you in the USA? Because you can get emancipated at 16 and live on your own. Also, be the one who breaks that generational curse. YOU do not have to live that way and you are not doomed to a life of living that way either. You can start with just one room of the house. The kitchen. You can get extremely sick or even die from rats infesting your kitchen and food surface areas. So what you can personally do, with no help, is just start cleaning the kitchen of your house. It might take a week or so. But just get big trash bags and start by throwing away all of the trash. If you can give yourself a chore of making sure you throw away ALL of the trash in the kitchen at the end of every single day then that might give your family the little boost they need to start cleaning.

This video made me realize I had a good father. When I still in primary school my parents got divorced and I grew up with my father. I also thought he was so annoying and even up to this day he has this thing about everything being neat and tidy. I hated being made to do the chores and especially being woken up early on Saturday and given orders for the chores. But watching this video made me realize how strong he was. Our house was always clean and shining. People handle difficult situations differently. Maybe his way to cope was to make sure the house wasn't dirty and disorganized. Some people go in the opposite direction and can't clean because it doesn't seem important compared to their other problems. I'm not judging anyone, it's just that after so many years, I saw my father differently today after watching this video and it made me grateful for him. I think it's because of him, I managed to do well in school and in university. I hope this family gets help and this young girl is inspired. I wish that young girl a beautiful life.

Literally put a big circus tent over the house and Set off bombs of pesticides in the house.

First and foremost, they absolutely needed your help. The kitchen looks amazing! I am excited for the coming videos. I just wanted to mention there is a product here in the USA called a bug bomb and having lived in the Southern US most of my life, I have used them many times. You may want to use them in homes such as this before you even go inside of them. It takes a few hours, then you air out the home. I would highly suggest you get to know them if you plan to continue cleaning in the South. Miami will never get cold enough to kill off any bugs, so you will have generations upon generations of them in every home you clean.

I know you arent familiar with roaches, but if you go to someone's house with roaches, there is a VERY HIGH CHANCE you will bring them home. Also, the black thing by the sink was the cover for the garbage disposal. Many (most) American houses have a switch on the wall next to the sink so you can rake food into the sink, turn on the water and flip the switch so the food all washes away. (Just dont put bones or eggshells down the drain.) Great job!

      Every Day.
A house will never remain clean after cleaning it once.
You can avoid messes building up by continuously throwing away trash, and cleaning messes right after they happen.
So yeah.. no matter how many times u try to clean you will have to continue to clean..

Call CPS 😢 I absolutely do not judge an individual for having a home that gets to this level of dirty, but it's 100% different when there is a child involved. A parent has a duty to protect their child from conditions like this. A child of any age should not be living here. It is literally classed as abuse by law!

1st of all- Auri youre an incredible cleaning angel that can bring light to the darkest situation- this place, case in point❤ Secondly, being understanding of a situation is one thing but putting into context is another. Here we hace a single mom w a young minor age daughter who obviously has some issues to allow her living conditions to get this poor. It was wonderful for you to clean this mess but the concern is going forward if the mom does not get the help she needs, the poor living conditions could return and sadly the young daughter's health and well being is put at risk in these conditions. Its imperative that the mom gets the help she needs so she doesnt repeat this.

Unfortunately she died,my mother. How horrible to die covered in filth. I didn't search for any keep. Any photos I have left I gave to my husbands mother. I have no words to express the pain... At seventeen I was paying for two households. Raised three kids, one twenty six. Cps was invited to my home.. none ever took because I cleaned it up. By myself at six years old until I seventeen. There was no mercy for me. Honestly I had a baby sister to raise, the cps came to my school when I was 12. She gave me an I feel sorry for you bag of clothes. I told her to mind her mf bidniz. Just like that. She was so blown away at me calling her a mf. She closed the case. My family was left alone until I was ready to let go. I dove into slipknot music to help heal and hate. I used ugk to tell me it's ok go to the streets and distribute. I met my husband at sixteen.. now same man, nineteen years apart. We are twelve years married ❤

Thank you for reaching back out to Nicole, she and her daughter truly deserve a safe, clean space to live and I’m so grateful you are giving that to them ❤️

You are doing an awesome job helping people. I hope the mom gets help with her mental illness as well.
The most basic thing to learn in life to close the loop or lose ends, meaning pickup right after yourself - doesn't matter what it is, dirty plates, bills, difficult conversions, etc. regardless of how annoying or uncomfortable it maybe. Once you have trained you mind that way, cleaning up just becomes natural whether its a house or a relationship.

Ugh it breaks my heart a child has to live like this. I wish the fridge was at least emptied bc someone is much less likely to help remove it 😢 I feel like it would have been a help but I know getting the space livable was first priority. It just makes the cockroaches a continuous huge problem. Thank you for the work you do and sharing it with us!
