    About time we get to see the best sports tournament here in Canada. This has the potential to be the best world cup we see in our lifetimes.

    Why build temporary seats and tear them down? How about build up the stadium seating to 44k?

      Toronto FC has a bigger attendence then any other sport in Canada. There attendence average is 25K. Maple leafs 15k, Raptors 20k.
      The tickets are the cheapest as well.

      @@KayvanKermani Wrong. The biggest average attendance in Canada is Winnipeg (CFL, real football) at almost 30K per game, followed by Saskatchewan (CFL) at 28K .
      Also the average for the Maple Leafs is 19K (not 15K) per game and Raptors 19.5K per game.

    "The opening match was announced to include Mexico, taking place on June 11, 2026, at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. The opening match involving Canada will take place on June 12 at BMO Field in Toronto, while the opening game for the U.S. will take place on the same day at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood."

      The Quebec provincial gov’t didn’t want to fund the necessary improvements needed to be made to the Olympic Stadium in Montreal.

      @@LudicrousGotRiz search up the amount of people watching the 2022 world cup finals. then remember that this world cup will have 48 countries instead of just 32. 1.5b is easy for world cup

      They needed to raise property taxes because Tory suppressed the amount it needed to be raised during his time. Tory always ran on keeping property taxes low despite the city falling apart from under funding. It just so happens you can only do that for so long.
