When I plug mine and it's hot, it begins to smell, that scares me Like it's going blow, burn...eventually summoned the courage to use it, it didn't cut 8t, don't know if it's cos I didn't put anything underneath it. My Ashoke was on bare floor (tile), it wasn't cutting,I want to know please is it cos I placed it on bare floor or soldering iron wasn't hit enough, please?

Soldering iron typically cuts asooke fabric without stress. I can't really give a recommendation since I'm not physically with you to understand the situation fully. I think you should talk to an electrician and see what they recommend to you
