I think it might be just thic leather. Leather is used often when you want to prevent burn marks on the table

The higher the better, but if it’s too hot, you may use 60watts

Hi, sometimes my soldering iron can be too hot, so I use some cotton pads 😄
I tried this using a metal sheet as my board. After tracing my flowers they stick to the fabric….!
