- Part 2 of our annual search for Thailand's must elusive pit viper. The highlight was finding a crazy beautiful red MacClelland's Coral Snake (Sinomicrusurs macclellandi), which allowed me to freehandle it quite nicely. Enjoy!
Love the content it takes me back to when I was younger waking up and watching Steve Irwin and Jeff Corwin in the morning on animal planet.
Thank you David! I hope you’re feeling better 😊 great video as always!!
So nice that your back with videos !!! Watched all the stuff from Rupert in the year you where gone, awesome work. Your stuff helped me so much when I went out herping in Thailand myself!
It’s great your consistently uploading again! I love your videos
Love your content! Keep doing what you’re doing, and spread some love.❤️
Thanks for another walk in the jungle amid so many snakes David.. I was gonna say something about taking care of yourself because I could see You were not 100% early on in this video.. Get well soon my Friend and Thank You for taking me w/You on another expedition I would have never had without You..
That Coral snake it amazing. At first glance I’d have thought it was the Bamboo Rat Snake.
Haven't seen posts for so long, glad you're back.
David, in regards to non-venomous snake bites, what is your advice in regards to avoiding bacterial infections? Do you just wash your skin with water, soap & water, apply anti bacterial ointment, do something else, or do nothing?
Btw....hope you're feeling better.
There goes one more awesome video ! Thank you SO much for sharing, David ! Hope you feel better real soon. 💪🏻
Hey, that Coral snake looks quite similar to my lampropeltis p. pyromelana, only deadlier ! 😅 Cheers from Paris, France !
hope youre feeling better now! thanks for the video and awesome knowledge!!
Thanks for the video David!
Great video, as always! Hoping you’re feeling better!
You got a like there Pardner! Great content.
I love your content and I am happy to see you back on RUclips! You find the coolest snakes!
He definitely has that unafraid and educational love for all animals vibe that Steve Irwin and few others have or ever had!
12:10 he found a boa constrictor in his natural biotope
This dudes the absolute best.
David sei bravissimo, tieni in mano animali velenosi come fossero sei semplici accellini innoqui, waw sei fortissimo e bravissimo.
Thank you!
Wow your so amazing. It's very dangerous to handle that highly Venomous coral snake. I salute you my friend.
can you take me herping in Thailand, It is number one on my bucket list!! either way keep up the great work!!
This is what they do for a living. So if you have the $$$$$ you most certainly can do it…
Somehow I lost the train of videos until now. You didn’t find the target species, but all the fines were nice. Very nice coral snake and green vipers. So what is the difference between racer and rat snake? In Europe, ratsnakes are thick and muscular and closely related to Elaphe, whereas racers are thin and fast and closely related to Hierophis. Which are the interrelationships of those?
Common names are useless and interchangeable for many species. Doesn’t have much significance at all. In this instance there is no difference - Helfenberg’s Cave Racer and Helfenberg’s Rat Snake are the same thing.
Thais don't do litter ,they just chuck it
another great video ,thanks
Huh? I’m not sure I understand what you mean.
17:14 when I first saw it I thought it was a wolf snake so I understand how that mistake can happen.
If i didnt know that davidsons bridle snake was non venemous and saw it slithering thru the foliage with those bright white stripes id probably not mess with it until i could verify the species in case it was a krait of some sort
6:30 😂😂 doesnt see the dog first...
🔥
Do you rent the vehicles and do you stay in hotels or camp areas when you are herping ?
Have you ever seen any signs of Tigers in the wild in Thailand? They are super rare but I was wondering if you have ever seen any tracks and such?
I’ have! I’ve found a huge cats paw print in some mud once, which I think must have been from either a tiger or leopard. I also once came across a half eaten deer carcass, again, most likely from a leopard or tiger. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) I’ve only ever come across a leopard once and never a tiger.
good to see ya. if Moon is still around tell her hello.
great vid mate!
Hey brother
Where is Chrisweeet? Snake handler
😅In Thailand there are lots of beautiful and sexy female snakes
There are also sexy snakes in Europe. Look at me!
At 12:13....ah the joys of being a man!

Yes, someone already pointed this out. My mistake, apologies!

It’s herping fuel! And it’s the only thing that’s open late at night
Man that just pisses me off seeing all the garbage in that cave! DO BETTER PEOPLE!
Yeah, it’s really sad. A lot of countries in Southeast Asia are unfortunately like this - garbage everywhere.
@@DAVIDSFEED Hey while we seem to be having a running conversation going I wanted to say that I hope you didn't cut your hair and nails because of what idiots on the internet say! It was one of the things I liked about you when I first started following you. I respect people who don't conform to social norm's and are brave enough to express themselves how they see fit. I wish I was that brave!
Thanks! And no - the reason I cut my nails is that I went to university where I found myself needing to type on a keyboard literally all day which wasn’t easy with nails that long. I shaved my head because I recently got back into riding motorcycles and wearing the helmet would always make it look like I just got out of bed whenever I showed up anywhere. The very short hair are just more convenient for that
