The update is amazing. I love playing it. I also can’t wait for the wild update coming later this year. However, I had an idea for the next update. What if we got better boats. Like ones you could build yourself, and possibly sink to make shipwrecks. You’d need a boat base or something and a captains wheel which would be a little bit pricier, but would allow you to have essentially portable bases.
Of course we’d keep the normal boat and the upcoming chest boat, but then we could also have better boats after defeating the ender dragon.
If that happened it would also be pretty cool to have a kraken or something that you could fight, but you didn’t have too.
A lil easter egg I love is Alex still has the axolotl
People think there isn't much new in 1.18 but there is so many small but important changes!
I can't wait to design more new machines for it.

The lush caves are so amazing there my favorite biome. I feel like I am in an underground paradise. My friends and I have made a cool town under there
I think in the 1.19 update there should be deepslate dripstone in the ancient cities, it would make it look darker and would also contrast better to the deepslate and skulk variants
Finally a world generation update that gives that same excitement of finding breath taking terrain like the Alpha days. Been having a blast with the snapshots leading to this update and can't wait to dive into the official release :)!

I love how Alex gets a torch and a dead bush to make a spider shadow.
I love how Steve and Alex in this trailer personify two major archetypes of Minecraft. Steve is a survivalist, being much more cautious and getting giddy over stuff like new ores to mine, while Alex is much more adventurous, focusing more on seeing cool new places with less regard to safety.
