Hey great video, I appreciate you taking time to show us how to do things up close even if you might have mentioned how to do them while they were in their original position. It really does help.
Great video! I did the rear bumper swap out on my 05 Highlander today based on your video, and I’m looking at repairing the front, too. I think it’s just missing a few of the clips otherwise it’s still pretty solid.
Thanks man! My son just decided to tear his bumper off and crack the grill on his 2007 Highlander, so I'm using this video and going to the pull-a-part lot now!
@@OEMEangg All is good. Your video is helping me to learn things I didn't need to learn while my husband was alive. He passed last year so now I am loving learning again! Thank you!
I just picked up a '07 Highlander but just need to remove and polish the sun beaten headlight clusters. Did you ever replace your bumper, grill, and fog lights?
Thanks for the upload I just bought this 2003 Toyota Highlander need to replace the front grille and there it is your helpful video! Now do I still have to take the bumper off if I only need to replace the front grille?
I was wondering how many clips there are to secure the bumper, just pulled mine half off on my 06 highlander but Im afraid some of the clips might have broken off as well. Might have to replace the right fender liner as well. my understanding is that there are four Bumper Moulding Clips Fasteners, and two Retainer Clips on the bottom on each side
@@salomonvillalba6422 I don't know off hand. Since the vehicle is 15 years old, some of the plastic clips will break. Sorry, i can't help more than that...
the entire headlamp assy and not just the bulb? Unfortunately no, and that is also because that bumper cover clips into one spot on each inside corner of each assembly...I know this because I was not careful enough removing the bumper cover, and broke those female receiving spots on the light assemblies....zip tie fix for now ugh.
Great video ,i have 2006 Toyota highlander i need to change my self. .after i saw video.. But i don't how to order parts.. can you give me a tips? Thank you!
i’m putting a new bumper on the front of my 06 highlander but i don’t have the original bolts, which ones do i get? this is my first time trying to work on a car lol 💀
You should just go to a junkyard and find a similar highlander and pull the bolts you need. That way you’ll know for sure they are the right fit. Buying them brand new is surprisingly expensive. My highlander was missing all the bottom bolts and the side clips. I got them from a junkyard.
Not on a 2007 at least as I am replacing one at the very moment. The video covers all of the mount points correctly. Sounds like you have a different year.

Thank you for a well-done how-to.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for cognitive and useful video.👍🤝
Thank you! Wonderful video. Have to replace my bumper, grille and fog lamps. Let a friend drive my Highlander and she rear-ended someone. 😞
No good deed goes unpunished. Sorry to hear that.

Looks like you should be able to remove the grill by itself if you can manage the 6 tabs at the bottom connecting it to the bumper cover
Thanks for thorough video!!!
Excellent video very detailed the way they all should be!

not including the screws of course. Im just wondering what points just snap in when you replace

@@OEMEangg no worries thanks for the speedy reply. I will try it out and see how it goes
Great tip at 8:17. Thanks
Thank you so much
this is excellent. thank you
Where does the impact sensor hang?
Thank you so much!! This video helps a lot. Might I ask for the links to all the parts, and screws, clips for the installation?
I just reused the screw that was holding the old broken grill. Not too sure about the screws and screw size. sorry.
Thanks a lot!
Tha j you so much
How do I reattach top of bumper to the clips located under each headlight? Thank you
Who would have ever thought that Snaptite model cars with the life sized.
LOL
That's what I was thinking too!
Can you take the bumper off without taking the grill off?
I don't think so BUT someone on this thread said you can.
Not recommended because of the 6 tabs at the bottom of the grill.
Good video
Is it possible to replace headlight assembly without removing bumper and grill
I believe you have to take off the bumper in order to remove the headlights.

what? i replaced both of my headlight housings on my 04 highlander without taking off the grill/bumber.
Your Yota is a year older and those models have significant changes in the appearance of the front and back . 😊@@jessegarlick2583

You can purchase the bumper or grill online. I usually purchase the items on ebay.com. You can purchase the grill or bumper. Be sure it is prepainted.
4 of 6 screws/bolts are missing from the front number of the car I just bought what size screws, etc should I buy to fix it
If it is the bolts on the bottom of the car, I wouldn't bother with it. I think you would be fine driving the way it is.
No needed to take out the whole bumper if you only replace the grill
The grill is attached in the middle to the front bumper. You have to take off FB in order to take off grill. I just replaced mine so I actually know.
This involves 2001 through 2003 models

i don’t have any of the hardware actually, what all would you recommend i get ?
@@makennaowens2525 I would go to a pick-n-pull or an auto recyler and get the bolts from another 2001-2007 Highlander.

What if I just wanted to remove the grill
thank you!
How much should I charge to replace this bumper on my friends car?
I just have my friends buy me lunch...😄
Where you buy thr front bumper from?
you can probably get the bumper cover off ebay.

Just take the grill off first and u won't struggle so much rookie
You made me break my bumper there’s bolts on the bumper attached below the headlights
What year is your highlander and how do we get access to those bolts under the headlights? Do we need to remove the headlights as well?
