i think the best here is the ps2, what do you think guys?
PS2
PS2
Dreamcast is favourite
Ps 3 groupe Mprou and Good Lek
WHAT?! PS2??? REALLY?????
Kinda weird how these aren't ports. They're separate games
They actually worked with systems strengths back then
Correct, most of them are very much different from each other. I found this out when playing the PS2 version after years with the PS1
@@jimmyju76 But even then, most of the other games were just port between different systems.
it's three separate game - separately for GameCube and PlayStation 2, separately for Dreamcast and Nintendo 64 and separately for PyayStation.
I guess the pc version of it is a port from the dreamcast
Even though many N64 games haven't aged well. The N64 version looks the most impressive for its power.
Many N64 games haven't aged well? Lol good joke
This a joke????
@@princessleia2187 most n64 games have not aged well visually and control wise
@@princessleia2187 It's widely accepted that PS1/N64 games have generally aged poorly from a visual perspective.
Some later N64 games actually look pretty good, the earlier stuff does look pretty weird for today standards, Some N64 games are hard to play control wise with anything but a N64 controller.
This era of gaming is not the one that wants to be the more revived
Can we take a second to appreciate this era of consoles? Back then each machine was so damn unique and functioned differently from each other due to 3D graphics being the new frontier for technology; there was no established "way" to run engines & software for them yet. Compared to now where deciding between Microsoft or Sony is null with them both being homogenized lowest common denominator machines that are only set apart from the features and exclusives (which are barely even a selling point anymore). Just loved back when your purchase decision actually MADE a difference, not just of which faceless corporation am I giving $400 to.
it's a common phenomenon happening to almost every category of "stuff" under this system. Eventually one corp owns all of the little companies and everything becomes the same.
You are right sir! Totally agree
for developers this was an absolute nightmare and probably is the reason why video game engines exist in the first place
PS1 version feels right at home. A very nostalgic even though I've never played it before.
👍
The PS1 was the worst lol
@@barrydabee6752 PS1 Version is so much more lively and Donald actually sounds and behaves like Donald.
The other versions all look like cheap knock-offs with muddy dull artstyle and terrible sound designs.
Thats because this game is a straight Crash Bandicoot clone ripoff. Thats why you "feel nostalgic even though you never played it"
The game actually released on PS1, PS2, Gamecube, N64, and Dreamcast along with PC, Gameboy Color, and GBA
Pc? I played every other version but never saw the Pc port.
@@Netoagsn I have it, but its a pain to run on modern hardware
@@Netoagsn No Mac port if you use that
Pc it’s the same as the n64 and ps1 versions
@@Netoagsn I got my first copy of this game on PC back in 2000s from... A cereal box
this game has an amazing soundtrack, especially the dreamcast version
plus how can the next gen versions look so much cheaper than the other ones?
@Paul Bell um... i guess you're right
"I thought we were playing Donald Duck: Quack Attack. Not Crash Bandicoot."
It's Crash Duck: Bandicoot Attack
@@Psych0technic it's Crash Banduckoot
@@icee1683 😅👍
The N64 version is really impressive compared to the rest.
The game is completely different on PS2/GC, I prefer the gameplay on the Dreamcast and N64 version.
Yessssss same
Me too, bcz those are exactly the same game with the PS1 version, but better graphic quality
@@copporn1615 but worse soundtrack... I don't know why they had to change the entire soundtrack for non-Sony consoles, those songs were amazing. The OST completely loses me in the other versions
LMAO anyone notice the thumbnail is just the same image for all of them
With different saturation lol
@@ArcticChicken it's so misleading and very clickbaity
@@djcrimsonsunbird3607
No it isnt. You click the video to find out which version looks the best, if you dont want to know then you dont.
Feel like you've been tricked? I bet it happens to you a lot.
@@rustyshackleford7265 this is a trash take, the thumbnail is supposed to be representive of what the video is supposed to be
N64 looks awesome
Important fact: PC version is a (well crafted) port of Dreamcast version.
Just like Rayman 2
It’s insane how those are literally quite different games instead of ports. I remember playing it a few years ago again on PC and I already noticed some differences from when I played the game as a kid back then, but when I did the final boss fight I was shocked to find out that the final boss fight was literally completely different. I believe I played the PS1 version back in the days where you fight on a platform where you have to dodge waves of fire while on the pc version the bad guy turns into some dragon and you have to run away from it😂
The Nintendo 64 version of this game is one of the versions i saw and heard when I was little.
The Gamecube version is the smoothest, true 60 fps.
I didn't know there was so many versions of this game. I loved it back when i played on my PS1 and it seems that it was the lesser version 😂
The ps1 version looks better and has the best soundtrack imo. For whatever reason he upscaled the image in the n64 version but not the ps1 version
the PS1 version is the best, it has the best movement, level design and music
The gamecube version looks better and it's twice as smooth.
It's the only one that runs at 60fps.
and DC
I think he plays it on an emulator and the performance here is not representative of the real machines
@@Mrekanietrie i think not.....gamecube looked good and runs very good...when you have one home you know it...... had seen in other games like timsplitters 2+future perfect (better look and fps gamecube over ps2)
It was the best hardware among those, and it is the genre where it performed the best
Interesting comparison.
GameCube is clearly the best from a technical perspective (60fps, plus Donald has a proper shadow), but its visual style looks a bit bland to me.
The N64 and Dreamcast versions have a nicer overall look, in my opinion... though I suppose you could argue that the richer, moodier lighting doesn't go with Donald Duck!
It's odd that the PlayStation and Dreamcast also have the shadow effect, but the N64 and PS2 are missing it.
I guess the best combo is DC+GC, in order to experience both versions of the game with the best graphics.
I have the one on N64 at 12 years ago, but when i just discovering for the PS2 version, it's so beautiful!! Donald is my favourite Disney Mascotte since my childhood!💙💙💖💖🦆🦆
A bit weird that the Dreamcast version is only 30fps when it runs on the Rayman 2 engine, which ran at 60fps on DC.
Rayman 2 was already uncapped on N64, so the Dreamcast's power automatically kept the game running at a steady 60fps.
Goin' Quackers seems to be capped at 30fps on all systems except GameCube.
Still disappointing that it's such a basic port, though. The Dreamcast was capable of a lot more.
Yeah I was so disappointed the first time I played it, but for some reason the game is ridiculously compelling for such a simple platformer. I love the DC ver. So weird that the PS2 and GCN game ended up being something completely different.
The N64 version has textures that are WAY too high res for the system to ever handle. How was that even running?
Miracles?
Well there's a reason why it's that high. The game aproaches the Crash bandicoot style of rendering, so in the N64 it works better than the PS1 considering the graphical power it has. That simple.
@@jodelmaster4539 Or maybe knowing how to work with the infrastructure of the console. Conker's Bad Fur Day is actually what a miracle looks like on a Nintendo 64.
@Sum Guy Is that the only solution?
@@carlosaponte2349 Yeah
This game still looks and plays better then cyberpunk 2077
Damm miss the good old days when people put heart in there games and didn't only think about 💵 money
I own the gamecube version so my opinion of it looking great may be biased but I love it. I'm also very impressed by how great the N64 version looks, especially for the limted power it had.
Im most impressed with the N64 version as it looks allot like the Dreamcast. And The tweeks made for the Gamecube version really outshine the PS2. The lighting is so much better
People in 2000 : I'm going quackers!
People in 2021 : I'm about to go racist!
The GameCube version has the highest resolution of them all and it's the only one running at 60 fps. It's impressive.
Dreamcast ver is also 480p ;) though less geometrically complex, I actually prefer the N64/DC game to what hit the PS2 and GCN.
I found this game at a random retro game shop at a mall in my area, and I bought it thinking it was going to be terrible and to play it ironically. Come to find out that it was actually pretty good. I’m lucky the copy I got happened to be the GameCube version.
3 unique games from a gameplay perspective, what a trip!
I would recommend Vigilante 8: Second Offence if you haven't compared the versions already. From a gameplay perspective, same game. But every installment has their own unique features across the N64, Dreamcast, and PlayStation 1 releases.
At the end of its life cycle, I think devs really figured out the N64 enough to present some of the best graphics on that console. Some games even rivaled some Dreamcast and early PS2 games.
I love the PS1 version
"this has always been my standard"
Either the Dreamcast or N64 for me.
The ps2 edition was my childhood ~
Bringing back so many memories on the ps2
I remember watching a lot of gameplay videos of this
0:06 PlayStation 1 1.
0:18 Nintendo 64 2.
0:26 Dreamcast 3.
0:34 Nintendo GameCube 4.
0:40 PlayStation 2 5.
For me
1 GAMECUBE (better frame rate and graphics)
2 PS2
3 DREAMCAST (like PC version)
4 N64
5 PS1
Anyway is impressive the difference between PS1 and N64 for a generation battle. The gap is very huge
I totally agree with your top 5 and for the fact that N64 was a totally new game compared with Ps1! 😉
Gamecube has better frame rate , but i think ps2 has better graphics in this particular example, I would still prefer better framerate tho
Awesome video! Would you do a follow-up comparing the N64, Dreamcast, and PC versions?
Thank you so much for this video)
Not gonna lie, the N64 version looks and sounds best, despite being the second weakest console in this list. Impressive.
How does it look and sound best? Has extremely muffled and compressed audio thanks to the cartridge format and while it looks significantly better than ps1, the dreamcasts resolution and graphical fidelity put it to shame.
I remember the Dreamcast having a widescreen mode, did other versions have one too?
And of course... Did you enable widescreen whenever possible?
Great video by the way! Thanks!
Funny how the PlayStation 1 version looks the coolest and most nostalgic.
👍
I always found the name of this game really funny
I didn't know that the PS2 version as actually a dirty port of the PS1 version
People keep saying in the comments that these games were each unique and not ports, but I seem to be seeing a lot of resources and textures being reused across the different games.
Keep in mind also that these games were all originally made on PCs, running OBJ 3D files. So in many ways, they **were** ports from one console to the next, even though each adaptation may have had their own twist (which is uncommon for modern ports, where extra effort is given to ensure consistency across platforms).
Dreamcast is the best one because it's a port of the N64 and featuring an arranged soundtrack of the N64 version and improved graphics
This channel is so good👍😉
You can create with looney tunes: Acme Arsenal PLS
That 60fps on Dreamcast was smoooooth
The GC is an underated beast but again the PS2 does Magic. The most pleasant version. Honorable mention for the Dreamcast
0:34 he was imagining that Daisy was bent over in front of him
I was looking for this in the comments 😂
OH! MY! GOD! I was recently thinking about this Gem 😍
thank you group m pro
Played this on PC, the Dutch version was called Quack Attack. Very fun game 😁
GameCube definitely looks the best
I bet the N64 had a stroke trying to run this game as smoothly as it did.
I still remember when I got this game when I was a kid way back when never beat it but man I had some times on there
PS1 version of the game is 512x240i. N64 is at 360x240p. Dreamcast and GameCube are at 720x480p. PS2 is at 600x240i.
🙏pliz next video Golf gb vs nes🙏 in your channel I been waiting for long when you going to do group m pro
I think eveyone in the comment section is blind. Gamecube Version is the best. Im a PlayStation fan since 1996 and this is the first time watching gamecube gameplay.
One of the games of my childhood!
I was complete unaware the N64 port, amazing game
Wow! Nice compassion! BIG THX!!))
Wow! Nice compassion BIG THX!!))
Never really understood that why N64, DC and Windows versions have completely different soundtrack than the PS1, PS2 and Gamecube one.
who ever worked on the n64 version did a amazing job.
Holy quack i just realized i actually played this before!
N64 version for me plus the fact you got that great controller too 👍
Me gustó tu vídeo. Me suscribo amigo ☺
Ps1 winning it for me. It is pixelated, but it looks very fun and I prefer the music
1. PS2 version has the best lighting and shaders with correct smooth shadows. Also, the clockwork collectibles look way better on this version.
2. Gamecube has arguably better trees than the PS2 port but falls behind in every other aspect. It seems like Gamecube ports always have this exaggerated cartoony bright atmosphere that ruins the original design of these games.
3. Dreamcast version is basically a remaster of the N64 release. The only reason why it's not 1st is because the PS2 and GC have introduced quality of life improvements all around. But if you like the old version, this is the definitive release.
4. N64 port looks like it's using the full potential of the N64, you can tell the game was originally built for this platform and was very well adapted onto the PS2 later on.
5. PS1 port is a silent hill inspired, pixelated mess and runs like doo doo. I think it's safe to say it's the worst version, devs only built it to get some quick cash. Only superior to the N64 in audio quality.
But the GameCube does run in 60fps
Buen video 😄👍

Really cool and interesting time in gaming history, cross platforming on the N64/GC and PS1/PS2 plus. Sega's last bid at the console biz.
The game is actually very unimpressive on PS1, PS2, Dreamcast and Gamecube considering what those consoles are cable of. That being said, the N64 version is seriously impressive
It’s like they developed the game(s) with that console in mind. lol
dreamcast just looks like a port of the n64, it could easily run the GC version
Back when all console games looked really different. Now it's all resolution and framerate. Also I'm surprised in the difference between PS1 and N64 there
N64 has the best graphics, best gameplay AND the best soundtrack! I wished they would remake the N64 version, it would go so hard today💯
I'm playing through the PS1 game right now, and I really enjoy it. I like how has it's own unique aesthetic from the other versions.
I think the best one is Dreamcast version
I played PS1 version in my childhood, for this reason i prefer it.
Me too
0:35 Donald Duck: Snyder's Cut
Nowadays this kind of game looks like a Pixar's movies.
I love how the thumbnail is just the same image 5 times
I remember N64 version! Nostalgia!
Dreamcast did the side view only as to the others did the head on view which to me was better. Gamecube for the win as far as graphics

Can yo plse do looney tunes back in action Ps2 vs Gameboy Advance vs GameCube
Some of this has hilarious humor
I didn't realize how big of a bit different the N64 over the PS1
The Dreamcast Version is the best version (but was the most powerful console for this time so makes kinda sense)
One of the most ported game ever. It has so many many versions!
Well it ain't much compared to most ported games like Pac-Man, Sonic The Hedgehog, Super Mario Bros, Tetris, Rayman 2, Doom, Minecraft, Space Invaders, Street Fighter 2, Grand Theft Auto San Andrias, Final Fantasy, and etc.
There is more games that were ported than what you think you know that were ported.
Doom has to be the most ported game of all time, because you can play that game anywhere these days. Heck, you can even play that game on a toaster for frick sake!
Warface joined the chat
@Risen General Oh yeah! I forgot about adding that in the list.
@Risen General don't forget every FIFA or Madden games as well-
@Risen General As well as Metal slug,Super mario bros,Donkey kong (1981),space invaders, pong,Super mario 64, and even ratatouille.
What a time it was when these games would be developed by entirely different teams or be very different games.
I had this as a burnt game for ps1 while I wouldn’t put it up there with crash or Spyro it was a pretty enjoyable platformer
Finally, a video that acknowledges the existence of the Oscar award winning game Donald Duck: Goin’ Quakers.
I think Donald Bandicoot on ps1 is the best!
why didn´t you add in the PC version?
PS1 felt like a "Base" for the other versions to build and expand upon
"God, that fucking GAME!"
yes people, they will say that the best is the one for ps2, the one for gamecube, the one for dreamcast, but in reality the best version is the one for gba (it's sarcasm hahaha)
