You can use clear wax as a kind of eraser for other wax colors. It likely won't remove all the color, but might help when the wax isn't what you are looking for.
So even if you don’t put the clear wax down first?
@ImMerelyMelissa Often. Different surfaces operate differently. I think the fun of crafting is experimenting!
If you seal your brown chalk paint and then go over with your top green colour, you can wet distress without lifting your brown bottom colour. All your projects are beautiful (new sub) 😁🙌💖

What do you use to seal it, wax?
@@martymcfly5764 No a poly sealer, either spray or brush on. If you’re wanting to keep the matt look, just use one with a matt finish. However any finish will seal it in, so it doesn’t come off when distressing. 😁👍
