So many appreciative responses to this. Why is it there are so few of us like minded in the world? Suggest it's commercialism and big business. So thanks for these videos and bugger the rest of them. Love from the UK.
Classical, classy, brilliant and simple with a pinch of salt to make the water boil hotter. The style of your band is something that our world has Has missed for a very long time. So classy so on time thank you.
TREMENDOUSLY played, and you are ALL SUCH TALENTED PLAYERS, soooooo-BALANCED soundz that 'LADY' and Mr SATCHMO would be in awe of you ALL, as am I. 😎 PERFECTION!!!
From one who shares your view: How is it possible that the charm, warmth and intelligence of this music was driven from the main-stage by the noise and stupidity of today's "music?" How is it possible?
"It Had to Be You" is a popular song written by Isham Jones, with lyrics by Gus Kahn.[2] It was first published in 1924. The song was performed by Ruth Etting in the 1936 short film Melody in May, by Priscilla Lane in the 1939 film The Roaring Twenties, by Ginger Rogers and Cornel Wilde in the 1947 film It Had to Be You, in the 1944 film Mr. Skeffington, by Danny Thomas in the 1951 film I'll See You in My Dreams (based loosely upon the lives of Gus Kahn and his wife Grace LeBoy Kahn), and Joanne Dru sang a portion of it in 1955's Hell On Frisco Bay. Gene Kelly and Marie McDonald danced to it in the 1947 film Living in a Big Way (while it was being sung by a mixed group), and it was also performed by Dooley Wilson in the 1942 film Casablanca, George Murphy in Show Business (1944), Betty Hutton in the 1945 film Incendiary Blonde, and Diane Keaton in the 1977 film Annie Hall. It also appeared in the 1992 film A League of Their Own by Megan Cavanagh. As the "theme" of When Harry Met Sally (1989), it finished as #60 in AFI's 100 Years...100 Songs survey of top tunes in American cinema.
My wedding song - my dad's wedding song, and my son's wedding song. So you think you think it is my favorite song ever? This song gets some serious love from my family.
Love this group! My husband and I are so happy we discovered them. Their music just brings the happy side out! It’s so smooth . They have a rhythm and sound that only they can deliver💚💚
American classical music. As the great Johnny Mercer once said, "One of my favorite popular songs." And the wedding song of my bride and I, our 39th Anniversary is today, and it was an OLD song back in 1980. The ladies and gentlemen who grew up with this song who were at our wedding in 1980 loved it that we had a classic as our song. Thirty nine years later, we love it that we picked it too. We heard the 1979 Sinatra version, but this one is just as good, just as unique. Thanks for posting.
I keep returning to this video, great version of this classic, all good musicians, especially liked the pianist, Her singing and arrangement with the backing was fun, she has a nice edge on her voice and good phrasing
OH yeah...nice. Love to come back to this video every now and then. Good stuff. Hope all are still doing well, sending continued blessings and all good things from fan in Texas.
What a wonderful introduction to life for the little one evidently visible in the talented lead singer. A lovely performance in all.Maybe I am mistaken ,but......
Lovely stuff.
This is the best version of this great song.
Sinatra.

This has got to be the most relaxed band ever. Or the highest. Seriously, what a terrific rendition of a classic.
First performed in 1924, almost one hundred years, and still a classic, well executed by a very professional talented band, Thankyou.
Isham Jones and Gus Kahn
